Many of us here know Ysne58 as probably one of the best and most dedicated beta testers this site has ever had. Most of us have had our mods tested by her and she will live on through those memories.

I just read the obituary.

I noticed the contribution of  'orphaned children' and I am wondering if we could pick up that task and bring it to life.

We had information on how to make quest dialogue on this forum, but for now the links are broken.  I DO know how to do that stuff btw.

 

I'm sorry she didn't (in my opinion) get a better 'deal' in life.

KOtNr was special to me. The author included a char. named Captain Don ... with a full beard ... in my honor.  It was , and still is a great honor. I was brought to my attention above that Ysne helped test this mod. This jogs my memory further. I remember many convos and good times.  

Rest well my friend, you will be missed.

I read the sad news the same day Amadaun posted it at TAL.

Yes, I think we should try at least I tried to contribute something and back in 2013 I posted this thread at AFK Mods.

However, due to RL in late 2013 I just couldn't continue working on it, it was too painful.

Oh my goodness, it was already being attempted!    I just read your link.  I absolutely want to do this!  It brings  tears of joy thinking

the ways we can finish this. 

 

I will need a partner.  Either for help with design concepts, mechanics, or overall guidance.

1.  Decide if we stay with the model ideas that were in the above link.

2.  Decide title based on what people know of her.

3.  Decide how much of the mod will be adventurous, and how much will be direct tribute to the orphans in her name.

I didn't know Ysne, but she sounds like she was a tough woman. My sympathies to those who knew her.

I don't know my way around the Skyrim CK, but I really like the idea! @Leonardo & @Ashenfire I'd love to see you guys have a go at it!

I rebuilt my lab, so I will now have to build up my skills again.  I have to write it all down and 're study' what I did.  I am going to build a rough draft.

I still want.  But don't count me as a partner, because I don't possess the skill nor knowledge about modding.  I can only do this.

I think we should stick to how Ysne described her idea/request at DC back in 2013 and doing that we also show her courtesy by not changing it.

I haven't forgot the idea I had back in 2013, but this thread is the wrong place to continue discussing it.

So send me a PM then post a WIP-thread after we talked about it.
