You should watch the Last Kingdom.

I've binged watch all two seasons a few months back :D I like viewing it as an unofficial sequel to Vikings. Not as good but still a very good show.

Father Beqaa is the shit.

The Vikings are certainly not demonised but their potryal is certainly not as positive as Vikings .

Was it positive in Vikings?

Honestly I’d just say they portrayed things mostly from their POV, they seemed like exactly what I’d expect. Clever assholes.

Yeah, the very first time we see them leave home they massacre a monestary where no one fights back. Afterwards the main character takes a slave, befriends him despite everything, and then tries to sacrifice him to the gods.

We follow them so we like them, but I wouldn't say it's positive at all.

Maybe i'm just remembering things wrong been....a long time since i've seen the first seasons

Alot of the time, since you see things from their perspective, you route for villain protagonists. Maybe that's what they we're going for in Vikings.

Well tbh there wasn’t really a “protagonist nation” either which is why I like it.

Same with the last kingdom, for the most part. Everyone sucks ass.

Poll idea: Who’d have the most awkward response to Dales trying to bang them.

Axe to the head according to south park would be both awkward and hilarious. So says Funnybot. Top of the line German engineering.

I'd rather not have a poll just designed to mock my character

 That'd be hard to measure. I feel like they'd all be varying degrees of "the ****?"

Ima go with Veleda. Wanted to say Rebec but I don't feel like it would be too terribly awkward relative to some of the other shenanigans that she'd already had to react to. With Veleda, something this crazy would be uncharted territory.

Same question, but for Baldur. XD

Edit: pre-Rebec of course. Good ol, Bard Captain Baldur.

I would say Theudofrid but he'd just make Dales feel uncomfortable and awkward.

I'll shoot.

Dales: "I'm very good with...alteration magic." *Throws off her robe.

Theodid is a guy so he's autmatically exluded.

Dales wouldn't hit on Theu though. She doesn't bat for that team.

Well I know how it’d go if it were Samuel or Balrog’s old legionnaire general whose name I forget. The one that hit on Gracchus XD

Man I wish we kept that.

Good ole Marius. But Marius was into older gentlemen. Baldur wasn't his type.

**** are you calling Dales a pedophilia?

Eh she's fine with seventeen and up.  Milla way too young, and Dales has had enough ******* pyschos in her life.

Playing with giants, finding out her husband is a king, traversing ancient ruins and fighting dead stuff, becoming a warrior priestess against her wishes. General shenanigans of living an adventurous life. All things considered, being hit on by Dales probably wouldn't be that weird by comparison. Plus she ran with a lot of rough sorts back in the day. I'd bet she's been hit on by enough people to be less stunned than Veleda would.

Mila's around sixteen. That one would definitely be awkward.

Not a psycho though. If anything Dales is the crazy one in that pairing. XD
