Embedding Images in a Post

This is a follow on HowTo and follows on from our previous one HowTo: Creating a Photo Album, so if you haven't done so, I'd suggest doing that one first. So we have an image and we want to show it in our post?, But how do we do it?, Well I'll show you

For us to be able to ebmed an image we first need to create a new topic or start to make a post for us to put one in. It doesn't matter if we use the full editor or the fast reply box, embedding works the same.



So what next?, Well now we are going to find the picture we want to embed into our post, so navigate your way to your hosted gallery.



Next step is to click the image you want to embed into your post, this will take you into an infor screen where you can read comments ect



Now if you look to the top right of your screen you will see a big shiney Options button, click it.



See the nice drop down menu?, Good, now select the Share Links option. A pop up box will open with all the link options you have for sharing your image.



You'll see four options available, the one we want is the Image Link, this is a direct link to our image. Click the image link box and select our link, now go to your new topic or post and look at the tool bar (Where the fonts ect are).

Find the button that looks like a small screenshot, this is our embed image option.



Click the button and a new window will open up.



This is where we enter the link for the image we want to have embedded in our post, remember the link you copied before?, paste it in the box at the top and click the ok button. Our image will now appear in our post like so.
