HowTo: Uploading Images

We have our own Gallery Album, it looks nice, but there is one rather big problem, it's empty. What do we do about it?, simple we upload and image or two and here is how we do it.

The first thing we need to do is head into our Gallery, that's easily done by clicking our name on the user bar we can see at the bottom of our screen. A menu will pop up and here we can select the My Gallery option.



Now that we're in our Gallery we need to select the folder we want our image to go into, over opn the right hand side you'll see a list of Your Albums, click the one you want to upload images into.



Now we come to the fun bit, uploading our image, if you look over to the right again you'll see a big blue button that says upload.



Click it and we'll be taken to the upload screen.



Uploading the files is a two step process, first we pic our image and then we set up the details like it's title. To upload an image click the Upload Files button, this will open a dialog box asking you to select your image or images if you wish to upload a few at once.



Click the Save button and your images will begin to upload, you'll see each one listed on screen with a progress bar underneath them, when they're done you can proceed.



Next click the Review and Publish button, this will take us to another screen where we can set the images details before posting.



Once you're done click the Finish and Publish button, this will add the image to your Gallery, it'll also be displayed on the forum index if you album is public.
