  1. No major projects at this time.

  2. Wait no longer... It's here! TES: Ignotus (pilot episode)
  3. Thanks, Grond! Serendipity shown brightly in getting this wonderful group together. The Emperor and Brother Martin are voiced by Martin M. I won't reveal his age but there is a bright future ahead for this lad. The Nord (Dash, nee Sigrun Holfgar) as well as several bit parts thru the series is given life by Aranas. He is also the head writer who is responsible for building the story and putting some terrific words into our mouths. But the most credit has to go to TardisChan (Agent Teechan) who is the producer-director. Not only did she put the group together and inspire the story and concept, she also shoulders all the work of editing and voicing Zelda. I agree with you on the minor technical glitches, but we hope you will follow the series as we progress. All of the voice actors can be found here in the Voice Actor's project and have done work on other mods. Thanks again for your kind words.
  4. I opted for answer #2 (Within reason.) This, of course only applies to quest mods and additional world space mods. Atmosphere is important. Otherwise we'd be playing text based games or simple wireframe or 2D environments.
  5. This was a little difficult as none of the answers fit my style. 1. No. Never. Nada. pointless as achievements for console weenies. 2. I enjoy multiple endings only if they are engendered by alternate choices within the game that i can replay (even if it means starting completely over.) 3. Very difficult question. I oppose increased difficulty that simply adds hitpoints to enemies. Added enemies, if logically placed and not just dropped in as mobs, are fine. Generally I would prefer increased enemy AI and numbers, along with more difficult puzzles or more stages to quests for added difficulty. I am totally against respawn points and automatic save points of any kind. Either unrestricted manual saves or I don't play.
  6. The way you postulate it: the first option, far and away. It allows for volunteer and charity work. In my life I have been unemployed for various periods. During each I found great joy in working with community organizations—often putting in far more hours than ever in my workaday career. I have never found the need for self aggrandizement nor needed the recognition or adulation that comes with the life in option two. Neither have I ever valued myself by my vocation or avocation. No, all-in-all, option one would be perfect for me.
  7. Since the post did not quote the Canadian Dollar and since NAFTA allows importation without duties I would expect that the current exchange rate I posted ($152.86 USD) would stand, It would be unlikely a retailer would sell for much more than you could buy it for online. That may be the best way to go, since there are no import duties on computer games or other software. However, many retailers don't ship overseas and Amazon says "select countries" without identifying them. Though I would suspect that the United Kingdom, as well as the EU, would be included. Well, it would be tough to get even the cheap hollow, metal "bronzes" you see around today for under $200 in such a small production run. Real bronzes would probably cost 4 to 5 hundred and up.
  8. Well, since there are no truth in advertising laws regarding 'resin' it is difficult to make a judgement. generally speaking these types of collectibles are molded from thermosetting polymer resins (which become monomers upon completion of the thermal reaction. In actuality these statues are 'resin'; PVC resin. Some collectibles made of resin are made with an epoxy. The problem is that epoxy itself is a rather non-specific term because there are literally thousands of formulations. So basically what I am saying is that it is possible that among someone's collection of collectible statuary could be several examples of PVC resin without anyone being the wiser. It is unfortunate that the most common identification of PVC is with plumbing materials. It doesn't mean that they melted down sewer pipe and made statues with it
  9. Well, we Americans are getting a pretty good deal. Europeans are paying $214.16, Brits are paying $213.03 and Aussies are paying $208.79 in equivalent US Dollars. If Canadians are paying the same price ($149.99) in their dollars it comes out to $152.86 USD. So, all-in-all it's a bargain
  10. Unfortunately, no. Beth has one, but in lieu, perhaps these: ...... ...... Blush...Drool...woot
  11. 30 pounds! 30! Pounds! Brav-effen-O :trophy: :trophy: ding........ding.......ding.......ding......ding
  12. I just received confirmation from Amazon that they will be making "Release Day Delivery" of Skyrim. This is a notification to all who pre-ordered. It means that Bethesda have given them a rock-solid delivery date. It is highly unlikely that the game will be delayed. It also means no waiting in line. Anyone who pre-ordered from Amazon will have the game on their doorstep on Friday, 11-11-11.
  13. Ahhh.... Make the coat and hat yellow and you could be **** Tracy—you've got the chin! OMG! the forum software edited DickTracy's name
  14. That is good news. I'll try to keep it within the limits set by DarkRider. I'm actually not making any political judgements here. If one person stole one copyrighted work, that's most likely a civil matter. What we have here is a group of people taking thousands of works from hundreds of authors. That is most likely criminal. While the loss is negligible (although put a price on one's reputation) the gain could be considerable. What a lot of folks don't realize is that a large part of federal enforcement actions are civil, not criminal.
  15. Yes, they were giving you the brush off. Out of curiosity, was it Brad, Candice, Gerry, George or Jeff Miller? If it was Jeff he has a full plate, but he also has more staff than the others. He's chairman of the Veteran's Affairs Committee. Talk about complaints, whew! He's also on Armed Services and Intelligence; both busy committees. Here is part of the official statement of the US Copyright office (Links omitted:) If you believe that a criminal infringement of copyright has occurred, you may contact the Intellectual Property (IP) Program of the Financial Institution Fraud Unit of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Two main FBI divisions investigate intellectual property crimes: Cyber Division -investigates intellectual property crimes involving all digital and electronic works (including Internet, CDs, DVDs, etc) www.fbi.gov/ipr Financial Institution Fraud Unit -all other intellectual property crimes There are three ways a complaint made be filed: Complainants may contact their local FBI field office, and the complaint will be properly referred. A complaint may be filed online at the Internet Crime Complaint Center www.ic3.gov and, again, it will be properly routed. Suspected criminal activity of any nature may be reported online at https://tips.fbi.gov and will be routed accordingly. The Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section (CCIPS) of the Criminal Division of the United States Department of Justice is the federal entity that prosecutes intellectual property crimes. Parts III and VI of the Department of Justice primer provide further information on the prima facie elements of criminal copyright violations, both misdemeanor and felony, and the factors considered in determining when to charge. However, all criminal complaints should be directed only to the FBI. Further, there are industry-specific organizations that monitor and prosecute copyright violations. Lists of copyright industry organizations and authors organizations are readily available on numerous sites on the Internet. Finally, online service providers must comply with certain conditions if they wish to take advantage of certain limitations of liability when a user publishes infringing content on their systems. One of these obligations is the designation of an agent for notification of claimed infringement. To qualify for certain limitations on liability, online service providers must, among other things, provide contact information to the Copyright Office and through the service provider's publicly accessible website on “designated agents†who will receive notices of alleged infringement. The Copyright Office website includes a directory of agents for notification that lists “designated agents†for online service providers recorded with the Copyright Office. For general information on this provision of the law, see section 512. Also, see a summary of this provision of the law.
