If your open to critique, some wrapping around the handle would be nice (nobody likes getting splinters in combat), as well as some wear and tear (both the handle and the blade, maybe some chipped wood towards the bottom, and some dirt near the head of the axe).

Nekro i pm you. Anyway : i played a bit with the color map, just added some fake shine effect near the point of the issue. Now the issue is much less noticeable... but is not gone at all :/
