Heron Mark Blade Texture (First Attempt)

Well, this is my first attempt at texturing this sword (at texturing anything really). I'm happy with the blade, but not so much with anything else, especially the gold on the crossguard and tsuba. Oh, and I also need to add the "heron mark" on the blade that the sword is named for XD. But that will come after I re-try unwrapping and texturing this. This was more of just a trial attempt to allow me to get the hang of it.

Not sure why the image is bright and washed-out when I enlarge it, but from here it looks great. I don't know what you want it to look like texture-wise, but right now it looks Egyptian :clap:

Hey, I re-uploded an image that should look normal when maximizing (just in case somebody else has a problem with it)

Think it's an encoding issue.

And I agree, this looks very nice. I wouldn't change the base composition of the texture that much.

Thanks for the love guys, I just finished the High Poly model of the rework I was doing for this and I'm actually pretty happy with it, I'm gonna post it shortly if you wanna check it out. Hopefully by the end of tomorrow I'll have a full-on textured final model I'm proud of!
