Hello TESA folks. I'm a new modder for Skyrim, though I've modded other games (DAO, Fallout, Portal). I modded Oblivion but it was quite a long time ago, so I am pretty much starting from scratch. I'm a game design student in a class this fall that plans to make a mod for Skyrim, and so I want to learn as much as I can before the course begins so I can help my classmates. I noticed you guys have a pretty cool modding tutorial series, and I'm not quite sure how to join the June-August class (or is it too late?). It says to PM the instructor, but I'm not sure if that's the person who posted or if it's someone else... I'm still trying to catch up on topics though. I'm looking forward to becoming an active and knowledgeable community member here. I really enjoy TES games, and I have waited months to begin modding (I had to finish previous projects first). So I'm eager to get started. =)

Bring up the NPC's window, click on the AI tab, double click on Wander underneath "AI Pack Type" on the left and set the "Distance" value to zero. That'll keep the NPC from walking around, but it'll still do the idles (stretching, rubbing head, etc.).

This thread is a read-only thread designed to track the successes of the CK Basics students. The course is designed to present students with opportunities to earn points for successfully completing assignments and tasks along the way. As points are earned they will be tallied here. When a student has earned 100 points they will receive the CK Basics forum medal for completing the course.
