  1. Hey there! I'm new to the site/forums. New, as in, just finished my profile 5 minutes ago. I just wanted to introduce myself. I prefer to go by kiwi, since disclosing my real name is not in my best interests. (Yknow. Don't need to be stalked ) I'm pretty happy to be here. Despite the fact that both oblivion and skyrim have been out for years now, I'm just getting warmed up to the modding scene. I had some experience modding oblivion before moving onto skyrim just recently, and the kit seems to be fairly familiar, so it shouldn't be too bad. I don't think I'll be uploading any files, though. I'm too self conscious and fearful of negative feedback, not to mention at my level there will be hundreds of mods out there nearly identical to what I'm capable of producing. Scripting is way out of my range of abilities. I'm more of the, ohey look I added a summonable horse and a player home. If I may recommend a mod that I'm enjoying, however, it's a mod called Frostfall. Tons of immersion, hours upon hours of work, no bugs whatsoever due to thorough testing. It might as well be a new game, as the wonderful person who created it had a whole team. Anyways, I'm glad to be part of the community, and I look forward to seeing loads of amazing mods. My sincerest apologies if none of this makes any sense, it's too early to do the sense making thing.

  2. Thank all of you so much! It's good to know that I've chosen a welcoming and friendly community. I was checking out what classes were and I may just see if I find one I'm interested in. (Ah, and so sorry to deprive said stalkers of my information ) Yes, there sadly will always be people who choose to be negative simply because they can. But I can see just from the responses I've gotten to a simple introduction that most, if not all, of the people in this community are friendly and open to what I've got to offer. Thanks for the cookies, by the way. ;D

  5. Meets, greets, and a bottle of sweets! (Does that even rhyme? I duno.) Haters gunna hate, but I think if you release things here on TESA, then you won't have to worry too much about overly negative comments. Only thing you have to worry about is constructive criticism aimed at improving your skills. The staff here are always friendly, from personal experience as an ex-staff member, so if anyone is being overly rude and... well, unpleasant, they will take care of them. Enjoy your time here. It really is a great place.

  7. Welcome to TESA! and as Don said: I think I'll call you KiwiFox instead of Kiwi so I will not get confused with our age-old member KiwiHawk (just kidding KiwiHawk )

  12. FCOM is indeed leveled, to an extent, but, the way it is supposed to work, the further from civilization you get, the meaner the monsters get. (to a point at any rate.) Load order looks good. I don't recall if the Citadel door fix is included in the unofficial oblivion patch though.... (won't matter if it is, just takes up another mod slot.) Also, some of the monsters you won't see outdoors..... but, you WILL find them in dungeons, ruins, etc. Take a trip around the island the Imperial city sits on. Watch out for the goblins though, what they lake in quality, (they are kinda weak) they make up for in quantity. (there are a LOT of them wandering around outside. )

  13. Welcome Kiwi. Ya know, it isn't very nice of you to deprive us stalkers of our pleasures. (kidding.) Feel free to make use of the classes for the various modding tools we have available here, also feel free to upload your files that you like here. (that you made) Bear in mind, there will always be naysayers, even if you came out with something like Frostfall by yourself...... seems the world has an abundance of them. That, and everyone has something unique to add, even if its 'just' another house mod.
