  1. Descaled Uniques

    This mod edits the levelled lists for levelled unique items so that no matter what your level you will receive the best version. If you have already received these items this mod cannot help you, it only effects when you are first given the item.

    This includes:
    Weapons:
    Axe Of Whiterun
    Chillrend
    Dragonbane
    Gauldur Blackblade
    Gauldur Blackbow
    Lunar Iron Mace
    Lunar Iron Sword
    Lunar Iron War Axe
    Lunar Steel Mace
    Lunar Steel Sword
    Lunar Steel War Axe
    Nightingale Blade
    Nightingale Bow
    The Pale Blade
    Tsun's Battle Axe

    Armor:
    Nightingale Armor
    Nightingale Boots
    Nightingale Gloves
    Nightingale Hood
    Shield of Solitude

    Clothes:
    Amulet of Articulation
    Mage's Circlet

    If there are more items that shouldn't be levelled, let me know and I shall try and update them into the mod.

  2. No Helmet

    Name: No Helmet
    Version: 1.1
    Date: 15/07/2011
    Category: Miscellaneous
    Author: Da Mage

    =================
    Requirements:
    =================

    Oblivion 1.2.416
    Oblivion Script Extender v20

    =================
    Description:
    =================

    Like many people, I like to play without my character wearing a helmet, but I hate essentially losing a slot because of it. This mod allows you to wear helmets but not have them cover your head. It does this by whenever you equip a helmet, it is set ot take up no slot.

    When the mod installs you will receive an item call 'Helmet Toggle', by 'equipping' this it will toggle the player's helmet on and off. This item can be dropped, just dont loose it, or you'll have to remove and add the mod again to get it back.

    Glitches/Bugs:
    1. If an NPC wears the exsact same helmet as the player then it will disappear from their head aswell. This is not a gameplay issue, they will still have the helmet.

    2. The OBSE function getequippedObject will not see the helmet if it is hidden. May impact other mods. Just turn helmet back on again if it needs to be detected. The CS function GetEquipped will still find the helmet.

    3. Due to some engine limitations, Armor rating isnt applied from items that are equipped in 'no slot'. I have faked the AR by adding a dynamic shield effect. But yet another engine limitation means that the AR doesnt update until you open and close the menu.

    Change log:

    v1.1: Fixed Armor rating from the helmet not being applied by adding a dynamic shield effect.

  3. Elder Scrolls Wallpapers

    A few times I have used the new Bethesda Softworks Elder Scrolls site I have looked at the backgrounds for each of the game pages and thought "That would make a cool looking desktop background". So today when I went there to download the Oblivion CS, I decided to finally grab those pictures and turn it into a desktop background.

    I lookedup the .css files for each page, downloaded the individual images for each, then put it back together in Photoshop in a 1920x1080 resolution (I use that resolution, i'm not making it for other resolutions). The end result is a background image for every major Elder Scrolls game, Arena, Daggerfall, Battlespire, Redguard, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim, all using the background images from thier site.

    To preview each desktop, they are attached as screenshots to this page.

    The finished JPGs for each game are in the first download: TESWallpapers.zip
    A copy of each of the photoshop files (so that you can edit them if you dont like a part) are in the second download: TESWallpapersPhotoshopFiles.zip

    Have fun with them!

    PS: My favorite is the Morrowind one

    ==================
    So now we have this first release alpha version of the Centaur project. This is not a complete version, it may be clunky to play with, and the install instructions to use it as playable are rather annoying. Now to what this version is about:

    Features:
    – Alpha Player Race. It is not perfect and you might find it rather clunky to use, but it does work.
    – Majority of important animations have been completed
    - Sneak mode isnt finished.
    - First Person view uses Third Person animations, therefore it isnt perfect yet.
    – Short guide on how to use as a resource.
    – Only one colour centaur (chestnut)
    - Centaurs can equip Boots/Greaves. They simply arent displayed, but you still get the effects.
    - Centaurs have a "Humaniod Form" spell that allows them to take human form for 60 seconds.

    What I don't want to hear about (they are on my to-fix list):
    – The arms shouldn't moves when walking/running
    – The strafe looks silly

    This version is also intended to be used as a modders resource, however you must follow some rules when using it. You cannot merge the esm your mod, and you cannot include the centaur files within your mod's download. This has been done because this is far from the finaly version, and I dont want outdated versions floating around in other mods.

    ==================
    Bugs & Glitches
    ==================
    - Animations are still a bit clunky.
    - Sneak mode isnt finished.
    - Centaurs may fall apart on death. IF this happens, contact me! I need more info on this bug.
    - First Person view uses Third Person animations

    ==================
    Install
    ==================
    First off, you install like any other mod, copy paste all files into your Oblivion\Data\ folder.

    Resource:
    If you intend to use this as a resource, you do not need to use the "TOCP - Playable Centaur.esp" plugin. You can delete or ignore that.

    Playable:
    If you want to have playable Centaurs, it gets a bit tricky. You need to activate both plugins, however when the "TOCP - Playable Centaur.esp" plugin is active you should only play centaur character, deactivate it again when you want ot play another race, a message will dispaly when you load Oblivion is Playable Centaurs is active. This is a limitation of the OBSE functions. You will also need a mod that lets you use custom races from with the prision. The Unoffical Oblivion Patch fixes this.

    ==================
    Uninstall
    ==================
    Delete the following:
    Files:
    TOCP.esm
    TOCP - Playable Centaur.esp

    Folder:
    meshes\DMCentaur

    If you try to load a game where your race is a centaur after unistalling, it will cause a crash.

    As stated, you cannot reupload any of the centaur files anywhere else, or within another mod. YOu can make plug-ins that use the TOCP.esm to add Centaurs to your mod, but you must link to The Centaur project and not include it within your mod files.

  5. Dwemer Animunculi Resource

    This resource contains two compltely custom creatures that have been re-created from scratch based on the designs in morrowind.

    I have the big Steam Centurion in the works, but dont wait for it, could be a while.

    Installation:
    As this is a Modder's Resource just you have to import it into the CS like any other item to use it. The meshes can be placed whereever you want, but if you want to put the textures into another folder you'll have to redirect them in the nif files.

    There are some settings you'll need to know for the creatures.
    Sphere Centurion:
    Speed 50
    Attack Reach 95

    Spider Centurion:
    Speed 25
    Attack Reach 85
    Turning Speed: 80.00

    This mod is a direct re-make of the starting dungeon from ELder Scrolls: Arena. The reason this is a demo is because currently I am building a one of the Arena cities (as you can see a part of at the end of the dungeon), and this is missing many charactergen parts that are not finished.

    This mod however is still very compelete, the dungeon is a unique challenge, as it's repeditive twisting passaged make it possible to get lost very quickly, there are also underwater passages and secret wall doors. While the only enemies you will encounter are rats and goblins, the real danger is getting lost.

    To start the dungeon, travel to Renoit's Books, Chorrol and find the book located on the table called "The Imperial Simulacrum". After opening then closing this book you will be teleported to the start of the dungeon. The key to the door is located in your cell, its not hard to find. After finding the exit from the dungeon and going back to the bookstore, you can travel back to the dungeon at any time by reading the book and choosing the option from the messagebox.

    NOTE: You will not have any of your items or spells (excluding abiliters and powers) when you are in the dungeon, mages are given spells, but you must find your own items throughout the dungeon.

    Some challenges:
    Find all the treasure/equipment piles (15 to Find)
    Find all the sercet Walls (6 to Find)

    Have fun

  7. Sigil Stones Unlevelled

    Sigil Stones Unlevelled v1.0
    =============================

    ========
    Details
    ========
    This mod includes two versions, Sigil Stones Unlevelled and Sigil Stones Unlevelled - Adjusted. The reason this mod was made is because in both OOO and TIE sigil stones are still levelled, make the end reward for a long hard oblivion gate quite useless. This mod only edits one levelled list and is compatible with most mods (load it after your overhauls).

    "Sigil Stones Unlevelled" is a plain unleveling; you can get any sigil stone at any level with the exact same chance. It is just as likely to make a Transcendent stone in Kvatch as it is to make a Descendent one.

    "Sigil Stones Unlevelled - Adjusted" makes it so not all stones can be received at level 1, and there is a greater chance of getting a much lower stone then a higher one. As your level rises you get access to the better stones and the chance of getting them rises. Personally, I use this one.

    Level 1-2:
    Descendent
    Subjacent
    Latent

    Level 3-6:
    Descendent
    Subjacent
    Latent
    Ascendent

    Level 7+:
    Descendent
    Subjacent
    Latent
    Ascendent
    Transcendent

    =============
    Installation
    =============
    To install, copy and paste Sigil Stones Unlevelled.esp or Sigil Stones Unlevelled - Adjusted.esp to your:

    ...Oblivion\Data folder.

    Then select the mod in the oblivion launcher or OBMM.

    Requirements:
    =================

    Oblivion 1.2.416
    Oblivion Script Extender v18

    Optional: Nehrim compatiable version also included.

    =================
    Description:
    =================

    This mod makes it so that you can assign a set of equipped items to a single clutter item, so that when you equip that clutter item all the items you assigned to it will be equipped. It also has many options on how it will equip the items. Along with storing your currently equipped items into a slot, you also set the name of the set which is used on the inventory item and in menus. There are three choices on how to equip the items:
    -Replace (only the items in this set are left equipped)
    -Equip (Will equip the entire set, unequiping anything that uses the same slots)
    -Add to (will only equip objects into empty slots)

    Lastly you can choose whether to assign your current spell into the set, so that when these items are equipped, so is the spell.

    Now this is good, you have a way to change between items fairly quickly by putting these clutter items onto hotkeys....but what if you could automatically equip gear in certain situations? I came up with these auto-equipping options, which are 'In Combat', 'When Sneaking' and 'In Town'.

    This mod also comes with a Nehrim compatible version, however that version lacks the town auto-equip feature...simply cause I haven't played it enoughto know the towns yet.

    If you find an error with this mod, let me know.See the Readme for more infomation aincluding installation infomation.

    You can see it all in action here:

    =================
    Known Issues:
    =================

    There is a small graphical glitch when equipping arrows, even though the entire quiver is equipped only one arrow will show in the quiver on your back. This is an engine limitation and there is no workaround.

  10. The Pale Adventurer

    The Pale Adventurer is a quest mod built off the templete of Lost Sword, with a questline that is randomly generated as you progress through it. The quest will start the when you sleep in the game when the ghost of Hemuss vists you to eplain the problem. From there you are lead throughout Cyridill searching Ayleid ruins. This quest is different every time you play it, and just sort of gives a reason for you to explore these ruins which are all non quest related.

    Because this is a modder's resource you should know how to do this. Copy files into where you want to put the resource (if merging with another mod) else just copy to Oblivion/data. This resource does not contain a demo.esp

    When you are making the creature, remember to link to skeleton.nif not the snowman.nif ... then check the snowman.nif under the model list.
