The magma fiend could probably use a spell like the fire cloak. Once the CK is out I can run some tests with all the creatures. The Earth Elemental is also based on a D&D creature BTW and could be a creature that's summoned by a Goblin Shaman (as TES lacks D&D's Dep Gnomes). And don't worry, no need to modify the standalone version, as soon as the CK is out and SCA is updated it'll probably be in my loadorder forever! Will have a look at the loin cloth. And hm, a big axe? That sounds pretty cool. Will poke IS for some help on that! There's not really an area where the Magma Fiend would work, maybe in the depths of Blackreach and such.
