Yes you can build a temple if you want. Anyone is free to build what the want if it fits in with a town theme. As building lots get taken up we can expand the streets and cleared land outward.

Echo, does the arena use spawners or do you create them indirectly with dark areas or something? Town construction is going well. A few paths/streets have been layed out and there are two small houses and a small barn built. An area for a town hall an ornamental garden with water feature has been layed out. The hall itself has its foundation/basement dug. My bridge, and Chocolate's castle are in the lower left. Manta/Pear's second castle is in the upper left.

Yes that stuff is for building. You can use the cobble for the bridge. save the brick for houses though.

Did some more work on the huge bridge. It's now 5 blocks wide, and has 1 lane of track layed down. Also I constructed two sets of support pylons on the end closest to my castle. At the far end it's going to need an ending point and road(s) leading up to it. As it stands now it ends above tree-top level over a small island. If anyone wants to start buiiding a slope closer to ground level that would be cool.

I've cleared some trees from the site and spread out torches to make it safer to build at night. I've also started building a commuter bridge from near my castle across the sea to the land mass the village will be on.

I think we should put the town in the area around the safehouse on stilts. It's a nice climate, and the ground there is already fairly level and clear of trees.

Lynrae has made her home underground on the landmass across the water from the public fort. I found a rich cave near there, we've taken a ton of iron out of it. I tried out a neat trap design I found on the wiki, it uses a preasure plate to release a lava flo. I've got a non-lethal water version set up in the experiment courtyard of my castle. It exploits a technical quirk of how liquids calculate where to flow. link I need a new building project...I kinda want to make a small town. several buildings, roads, yards etc.

That's a very nice room Echo. grrrr Cartograph has stopped working. I can't generate new maps of my world. I checked for an update but it didn't help:(

One I remember, which is really pretty solid advice: If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. It's a good motto for young children who tend to be unthinkingly cruel, or at least unnecessarily frank.

Wel the point is if you do it this way it doesn't use up any lava. You only need one bucket of it and you still have it at the end. Pick up the lava source before pouring the water

You can pour cobblestone as a fill, but the effective procedure is: Pour lava, wait for it to flow to bottom of hill. Pick up lava. Pour water over lava flow before it disappears. Not though, there are likely to be gaps.

No mods yet, I've been looking at various ones. I think i'd like to add death notifications, and lockable storage boxes. But if I'm under the impression I'll have to wait until craftbukit is updated.

server is updated and running. the update says beds work if all players in the world use them. Seems like it could work on small servers like mine. Also we have a new player, her name is Lynrae

I Think that's Chocolates, I've seen him in there a few times, and his castle and a mineshaft he made are near-bye. I'm suprised he hasn't moved what i assume is his main stash into his castle yet though.
