  1. Week two in my term 6 and I'm facing having to make storyboards for one class, when my skills in drawing are abysmal. Then I need to do a powerpoint for a website design in the other class, something that has NOTHING to do with my major. Oh and nevermind that my animation final project is taking place in an old set of ruins.. that I gotta model from scratch, and I have zero texturing skills to pull any of this off. Go me.

  2. A lot of people think that the average gamer is a teenager. This isn't true, what is true is that the average gamer is really more like 25-40 and above. As we're the ones who grew up with Atari and Nintendo and our game tastes have matured. Now it's also cultural thing too, here in the US anything of explicit/adult theme is taboo(given our puritan roots and foundation) so as such we somehow for some odd reason get excited seeing it. Europe however sees nudity of humans as well, nothing really, it's part of their culture and art, as some of the masterpieces have the nude human body. So the American audience(I'm guilty of liking -some- skimpy armors not all but some more inline for the classic fantasy style though I enjoy more plausible yet still "aesthetically appeasing) is thought of as immature 14 year old boys. It's also why you see a ton of some very attractive armor mods where it emphasizes the female form while not exploiting it or making it trashy.
  3. EA's presentation was horrible, highlight was Dragon Age Inquisition, and I'd say Mass Effect(which i never played any yet) but eh, moot point, too much sports too much rehashed franchises, we need to move on and get new stuff coming out. Ubisoft's as I said was good, the host needs to go for next year, the constant f-bomb and other bits? Unprofessional, and it's not edgy it's just that uneasy awkwardness and looking at her makes me wonder more things than just the games. Nintendo was awesome, it made me smile and react far more than even Sony. Sony's was okay until they went into the "numbers game" of the system. No one cares, they want more games. Never Saw microsoft as I'm really not a fan of their product, nor am I a fan of their business practices. Buying exclusive dlc rights. Capcom I'm purely stoked for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Square Enix I caught word about thenew Final Fantasy title Final Fantasy Agito or something. Nothing about other projects, like Dragon Quest, Valkyrie Profile or other such esteemed titles. Bloodborne is interesting looking and the next gen Souls style game but not a Souls game. The Order looks good as well, definitely a lot of games on the ps4 that makes me look into wanting it preferably before the holidays.
  4. Nintendo did an absolutely incredible job this year at E3, I'm impressed and maybe the WiiU will start amping back up. So few games I want, but majority are all on Next Gen... and I can't get a new comp or console :/ and yes I can tell lol
  5. I'm watching online, so wish I could attend
  6. Square Enix's biggest flaw was they somehow forgot that the western world loves jrpg's. Though I've enjoyed what they've made thus far. It's just like how Nintendo's flawed in not allowing their content to be more accessed and shown.
  7. Got my 3d animation book in the mail, should be fun to see if I can actually do this as a profession.

It is not that bad looking a book flipping through. Least now I can make use of my desktop again since i have 3ds Max 2012 on it still(demo but still full program). It'll do.

  8. Amusingly it's usually one line of code or something missing that throws everything out of whack. Good to know you got it settled.
  9. Researching prices on how much it'd be to build a rig to play skyrim on ultra settings and fully modded with visual mods. And to work besides.. I need to win the lottery me thinks.

Oh I know, problem is I don't have the money to buy. I know roughly what I want but the price is what kills.

      HeyYou

I built mine for under 800 bucks. That was three or four years ago, and I am still running the same machine. (with a video card upgrade though, as the original died.)

Good to know, my mobo sadly doesn't let me go above what I have now. Lack of forsight to blame there. I'm basically looking at starting bare minimum 8-16GB RAM and 4GB video with room to expand. Bad thing is it'll be a power hog.

  10. Officially made the Dean's list already!

Thank you, I'm not done yet. As they say it's only just begun.

  11. First day of classes and I'm already looking at it like. This is going to get interesting fast.

  12. Best thing to do sadly is to go on Nexus and other mod hosting sites and browse through. Everyone has different tastes
  13. Very long overdue update http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j3/set_amon/MountainSketch.jpg a mountain sketch I put together while playing around with shading.
  14. Thanks everyone! you're all great really and truly every one of you are.
  15. Good to know, since there's no real obge for skyrim yet Im not gonna worry then. I only liked the god rays and a couple other effects.
  16. Thanks hana it's a good place to start. I've seen enb thrown around a lot but no dice on what it all is
  17. Shhhh don't let them know that I'm just looking so I can balance my time out for now.
  18. Longstory short, I finished college took a break and now finally breaking down to play skyrim not just on console but also pc(laptop specifically). I have bout.. 150gigs or so left I can play with. though I also plan on getting dragon age mods.. but i'm not here for that. I'm here to get caught up on the core basics of mods for skyrim. Plus any recommendations for other things. Now I know there's wryebash, and such but I'm wondering what's out there to handle my mods things lie oblivion's omodd and such. I'm just looking for reccommended mods/utilities to help keep my skyrim game running smoothly. So I'm looking for eventually new wrye bash skyrim version of obmm I know they had a version of obse but not sure on skyrim's. a graphics extender like obge(loved it) and any other tools that I'm missing. I'm looking for the cosmetic mods as well.. I know I have a couple of older ones that xenius had done(probably out of date by now) but basically to make the characters and everything look better. Suggested armor/weapon and clothing mods as well.. and different from oblivion I'm definitely looking for quests, new towns, and just new stuff in general to help expand things much further.
  19. Working on sketches for ideas on things. Armor, weapons, and such doing thumbnails right now for ideas.

  20. Yes revo uninstaller. I forgot the name. Good luck and hopefully everything works, I'm just like.. terribly surprised over the fact that odd things like this happened. There should have been a memory dump with the game so each reload or save is clean from bloating.
  21. There are some programs which who's core function is to uninstall items, this mean say for Oblivion I had an issue which it seemed to be still in like 3 places in the libraries. This finds all ties right down to the registry and allows you uninstall it completely. I forget the name of it now. Of course a good computer forensic guy probably could find it still, but this is good for what's needed. Anything else, I'm not sure.
  22. Pulling code apart to figure out how it works, so I can then make something similar and it work.

    The Ambush

    From the album: Vou's clutter

While scripting this is gonna be a pain, or it all being done with one trigger(which could be really evil especially if I did it a certain way. ) is to be the big finale before the final zone. Here will be a lot of draugr, with a boss fight. How it'll pan out, who knows. But essentially there's gonna be a lot of draugr, and they're going to be coming in waves. Dustman's caern's events will pale in comparison. As these will be the different levels of intensity, but this deep, and protecting the sanctuary within it's clear there's something worth protecting.
  24. From the album: Vou's clutter

Here is the cavern. I could literally fit whiterun in here I think. All it's missing is some enemies and it's done. Here's the levels Secret level up top Main level beneath this, which extends all the ways to a chamber. water level
