  1. I did download the actual grid map & printed it, & I did manage to find someplace, somewhere around in that pic I posted above.
  2. I tried running around in the game, could not quite find anything. I can't tell by the grid the coordinates. When I looked on the gridmap, I could not even find the 36, -25 cell--I saw the area, but I could not find the numbers on that area to match. The numbers are tiny, but they did not match. I thought of maybe doing it inside one of the cities, but I could not find the room. UPDATE: I did manage to find a spot here: However, I still am not sure how to go about detecting exactly which numbers for the coordinates.
  3. Ok, I think I am ready to start to do the exterior, but my problem is, where? I mean, I tried referring back to here, but yet, I can't figure out how to pinpoint. I have downloaded & printed the gridmap & everything! I don't "get" how to pinpoint coords where I could go! How did you figure "Wilderness cell 36, -25"? I can't see it, I just can't! I don't even know where I want to go, or if I did, as mentioned, I don't know how to pinpoint coordinates! Any advice please?
  4. Are the pathgrids supposed to be up like this on the bottom points? Or should they be a little lower?
  5. I have done the painting retexturing tut, but I would like to know. How do I retexture tapestries? I want to retexture the item LowerClassTapestry01a/mesh lowerclasstapestryl02.nif, please help. Thanks.
  6. Well, first what I had was a jpg, then I made it into a png, then I made it as a dds finally for the finished product. Is that correct to do?
  7. Oh, I see. But how do I save a png under dxt3? Isn't that just a dds thing?
  8. I need more elaboration on this png thing: How do I "save as DX3 alpha"? And is there a way to do dxt's, or are dxt's only in dds? Please advise, thanks.
  9. I have a problem w/ this: How do I save as a DXT1 when the program won't let me unless the Filter is Sample 4? Please explain, thanks.
  10. Ok, I understand now, DR. I did your texture tut w/ the bed more carefully and will put it to good use, you will see.
  11. I still need to understand: So if I only apply the texture that is NOT the normal map, what do I do w/ the one that IS the normal map? And again, once I add the texture to the nifmesh, how to I apply it so it sticks?
  12. I did flatten the image as directed. Perhaps it did not take, will do over.
  13. My "Add Alpha Channel" selection is grayed out, blocking me from using it, what do I do?
  14. Ok, several things I don't get here: 1) Which texture do we use w/ the nif? We made 2 here, remember? So which is it, the 1st one that is a dxt1, or the 2nd one, which we made a "normalmap" out of & saved it as a dxt3? Or do we apply both? If we apply both, then how do we do that? 2) How do I get it to stick, once I AM able to determine which texture(s) to apply to the nif? 3) If by some miracle, I am able to make it stick, or what have you, what's this about w/ the saving, to "change the filepath"? Both my dds texture files were saved on my desktop! Should I have saved them someplace else? Please help me, I am just totally confused & frustrated!
  15. Is this right? Because my computer can't seem to handle a "_n suffix":
  16. Uh, when I click on the "CLICK HERE" hyperlink, I get this:
  17. Ok, now, click here: http://www.bk.com/en/us/campaigns/subservient-chicken.html and tell that "Subservient Chicken" any command that you want him to do. i.e. Sit, read a book, pee, etc.
