  1. I'm hoping to see mods that provide more choices within quests and anything that promotes more traditional roleplaying. As to my own projects I want to concentrate on hi-res improved textures that stick to the vanilla style and then move on to doing more 3d work in regard to diverse armour, clothing and weapons. I also want to make a house in Skyrim because its something I've never done with the GECK or the Oblivion Construction Kit. I could do some of this now but I'd rather wait for the CK than go down the TESSnip, hex editing route some people are using at the moment because I don't understand that process at all. Providing the CK is very similar to the GECK in functionality I shouldn't have too many problems.
  2. Just as bad that sounds terrible. I know Hells Kitchen and Dragons Den spawned US versions but Trinny and Sussanah is really scraping the barrel. LOL
  3. I also remarked on Nexus about Radiant Raiments ladies being Trinny and Sussanah, its nice to know British users think alike. My real concern is how accurate Bethesda got them, I didn't realise bad fashion advice from snobby Brits would catch on in the States.
  4. Thanks. Eat quickly. Food you mean, whats that? I'm a starving overworked artist I don't have time to eat, I just drink lots of coffee instead and suffer.
  5. Hi everyone I recently started to post up my mods on another site and I'm also having a problem with them being uploaded elsewhere without my consent even though I have stated that I must give permission to do so. I realise that thieves will always be thieves but I have only observed this new large scale trend since the release of Skyrim. I recently returned to modding and I have never experienced this kind of dubious behaviour before, it is very troubling. My own work is merely texture replacers so its not as big a concern as mods where the authors have put in hundreds of hours of their time only to discover they cannot retain control over their work. Its the principle that irritates me. I would speculate that with so many new members on various sites due to widespread Skyrim appeal not everyone is aware of permissions, credits etc which could be one possible explanation for all this mod rehosting. However in my case I know this not to be true since a very large company who I shall not name, chose to host my modwork without consent and currently ignore all emails from me in regard to its removal. The comment in this thread about including a PDF is very helpful since that may be missed by company bots that are responsible for a share of this problem. However does anyone have any good suggestions on phrasing an appropriate permissions readme for mods that may at least help to deter the problem. Since if I can't control where my modwork is uploaded then it makes me loathe to upload new mods and personally I don't want to feel that way since I want to share my work in the spirit it is intended. Thanks for reading this long comment.
  6. Hi everyone. I've come to TES Alliance due to Robin's recent mentioning of the site on his video blog at Nexus. My interests in modding lie with 3d models and texturing. I've been modding for years for myself but I never felt my work was good enough until recently when I started uploaded my Skyrim mods. I have no interest in scripting I don't have the ability, however I am decent at texturing and 3d so if anyone needs any advice at all, feel free to ask and I'll help if I can.
