  1. 1. Sounds like it's a mod installation issue. Is your armor mod a stand-alone version or a replacer? The former is usually a new set of armor that comes with an esp while the later just has meshes and sometimes textures. Also, when you removed the armor mod, did you also remove CBBE's body replacer? If you're playing a female, just run around in your birthday suit. if you don't crash, then we can probably rule out an issue with CBBE. If you do crash, then you'll need to reinstall CBBE and tell NMM to overwrite everything. The "underwear" that comes with CBBE is painted into the texture and is not a separate piece like the underwear in Schlongs of Skyrim is. If you're using the non-nude version of CBBE, tell NMM to uninstall and reinstall it, choosing the non-nude/sfw version again. For #2, you'll need to learn how to set up armor for your body part in the CK (e.g. head, torso, hands, etc.), add the armor to the CK, add the ground meshes, position the armor properly on any body replacer (Bodyslide can help you do this for female armor), and how to use Blender. If you're just changing armor parts, then Blender is what you'll need to modify the armor meshes themselves. Others here have a lot of experience in making armor so I'll let them tell you what the process is.
  2. That looks good, Grond. Thanks.
  3. I'd like to add the pillar of skulls from Planescape: Torment to Skyrim for a quest I'm contemplating. Does anybody want to take a stab at it? I'd like it two or three times the height of a man and maybe about half as round or so. Thanks.
  4. I would. Otherwise you'll wind up with raw chicken.
  5. Due to bandwidth restrictions, I'm limiting this to three mirrors. You can find out more about the mod and download it over on the Nexus.
  6. If you want soft beans, you'll soak them overnight. Soaking also helps get rid of the gas causing enzymes in the beans. You can also boil them for about 2-3 minutes in the soak water before you throw it out to get rid of some more of them. I just soak them overnight in the cooker, rinse them off, then throw them back in with the ham and veggies. I also like using chicken broth instead of water if I have any on-hand. I have a cooker/canner that I use to make mine, it's much better than the store bought variety and I can control the salt level. After the timer goes off, just let the cooker cool completely before you open it. Mine suggests running cold water over it, but I would look at your manual to see if it has any recipes for beans. Peas are different in that they're not as hard when dried as beans are, which is why you really need to soak the later.
  7. Soak them over night in enough water to cover them with about a 1/2 inch of water above the top. Drain and throw that water out when you're ready to cook them. If you're doing a 1lb bag, I'd use about 6-8 cups of water - again you want about a 1/2' coverage. I'd use chicken broth if you have it, 4 cups is sufficient. Throw in some ham, like a smoked hamhock, smoked bacon, or the butt of a spiral sliced ham; whatever you use, make sure it's fully cooked. I sauté about a cup of diced onions, along with celery and green & red peppers. I also use salt and pepper. Throw everything together, mix well, and cook for about two hours, starting the timer when the rocker starts rocking (check your manual if you don't have a rocker. Basically you want to start timing once full pressure has been achieved). Let the cooker cool, then test your beans. If they're a bit tough, cook them for another 30 minutes or so. I usually pair mine with cornbread - I posted my recipe in the thread previously somewhere here.
  8. What faction is he in? If he's in the bandit or something similar, that might explain why he's hostile
  9. Morte comes to Skyrim! As soon as I get the rest of the lines back from my voice actor and get Morte's recall tooth working, I'll be uploading him here. For now, enjoy the preview.
  10. You had the right idea, just wrong implementation, Hanaisse. I've seen a mod by Jx2 that has the decapitated skulls of your victims coming back to fight for you, so I know it can be done...
  11. Yes, it's that time: Jac got Skyrim and that means that Morte has to make an appearance! So if any kind modeler out there can find it in their heart to help me, I'd be eternally grateful. Think of the children and how much fun you can have scaring them.
  12. Oh yeah. I slapped one into my system and it went from 5.x to 7.8 or 7.9.
  13. I miss Lilarcor, and so does Minsc. This looks great, IS. If I get around to getting Skyrim, I'm definitely going to be installing this.

Very pretty. Is that a statue of Mara in the background?
  15. That reminds me of a medieval Manhattan.
  16. Where are you calling the function from, TS? Either way, you want the PositionCell command. If you're calling this from the NPC's script, you don't need the NPC id; otherwise you do. @WillieSea: the PlaceAtMe command creates a new instance of an object near the calling actor, it does not move an existing object.
  17. Your screenshots are too good, IS; the character model looks out of place. Good job.
  18. Back before Windows got its act together and started assigning IRQs automatically, you had to do that manually via the device manager. Now it's just plug the card in, install the drivers, and test it to make sure everything works properly.
  19. Today's Columbus Day, Donnato. You'll probably get it tomorrow.
  20. Alchemy was designed so that games that use and older version of EAX can use the newer version. If your game isn't listed, I wouldn't add it unless you're having problems getting EAX to work right.
  21. I use a Recon 3D and haven't had any issue with Alchemy crashing games. Then again, I only add games that are on its list and don't add ones that aren't. Right now I only have Diablo 2, Morrowind, Neverwinter Nights, and Neverwinter Nights 2 on there and all four work just fine outside of the usual issues with MW.
  22. I also recommend a new PSU for the reasons HY mentioned. A Corsair 750 Gold should be more than adequate for your needs and last a good number of years as well.
  23. I use a 750 and it's still more power than what I need, WS. I'd go with at least a 600 or 650 W for your setup; anything more is likely overkill. Check the power rating for your video card just to be sure. Get one that has at least that much power and then add in 100 W for everything else.
  24. Do you mean a large one on the bottom (or top depending on how it's positioned)? If so, then that is a problem because that's the one that pulls air into the PSU to cool its components. I'm guessing that the internal one is used to blow that air over the components to help keep them from overheating. Either way, a new PSU might be order because 6.5 years is rather long for one to be in service.
