  1. I love this! If you haven't all ready you should post these MERP screenies on our site: http://merpmod.ning.com/
  2. This clutter is looking so good that I'm getting inspired to do a house mod. And I've never done one of those before
  3. Yay an awesome MERP screenie from darkstone!!!
  4. Genemods are nice but... I bet sometime in the far future we will be able to transfer our existence into a spirit that can roam galaxies
  5. Thanks for the suggestion I'll check that out once I'm done with the one I'm reading now. I'm reading Columbine right now, usually not my type, but the author himself, Dave Cullen, visited my school recently (so awesome) so I bought a signed paperback. It's actually pretty revealing to what really happened (even though I was too young to remember any of it). Gives me a whole other perspective on killers in general. It's interesting to see how everyone else dealt with the tragedy differently too. And it is very similar to In Cold Blood actually, so if you liked that you should give Columbine a shot.
  6. Way cool! You have some skill
  7. It sure is, if I can measure displacement, which I can, and I know the time, which I set myself, then I can find pretty much anything. After thinking on it more though I realized knowing the force wouldn't help much. It doesn't really effectively show when an object is suddenly stopped. Acceleration, however, would be better, and I already figured that out when I found the force. So if the acceleration is zero then the object has stopped moving, depending on the speed before it stopped would determine whether it broke or not. And I thought this physics class I'm taking would never be useful
  8. Actually I do Its exactly what I did in Telekinetic Damage. If you want I can polish the script up real quick and give you the code, shouldn't take too long I think. Edit: I could find the force too. I think that would be a better determinant for whether a object would break or not imo
  9. What about the Red Thief of Cookies?
  10. Welcome! Hope you'll like it here
  11. Wow what a unique and ingenious use of welkynd stones, looks dazzling
  12. That was a very good interview. Good job Nice knowing more about you
  13. Ah yeah! That's my favorite System of a Down song too! I've loved that one for a loooong time
  14. *glances at avatar* I should have guessed Oh, and what do the stars on the Australian flag mean? And does the shape they make mean anything either? I just wanted to know cause I never really figured that out
  15. Looks like all the mods have flag avatars. Weird. Why?
  16. So I looked around the thread and I'm wondering what the advantages are for programming in VB rather than Java or Python. I noticed one thing: starting up other programs is much easier in VB than in Java. But what other advantages are there? I'm wondering if I should learn VB, but I don't want to if I can do all the same stuff in Java.
  17. 1. a. If you have you own topic on the NPC then in the last thing the NPC says you can check goodbye and put in the result script StartCombat player . b. If you're not in control of the NPC's dialogue then attach this script somewhere (a quest would probably be best, or directly onto the NPC if it's your own): scn CombatStart short attack Begin Menumode 1009 if (TalkingNPC.getCurrentAIPackage == 6) set attack to 1 endif End Begin Gamemode if (attack == 1) TalkingNPC.StartCombat player set attack to 0 endif End I do not know how to make the NPC unyielding though. Possibly set the aggression and deposition really high? 2. scn TeleportSpell Begin ScriptEffectStart if (player.IsInInterior == 0) player.moveTo MyHouseXMarker endif End
  18. Or you could just give it to me
  19. I wish my math teacher was like this:
