  1. I will keep you posted. I am alternating between the two and working on different aspects of the vanilla game in the character I set up for testing. I also have a plan vanilla ob character for when the mods I consider esential for may game might possibly conflict. I will be adding the rival to that one as well. I must say, as far as sentient companions go, this comes closest to what I would consider an ideal companion. The ones that follow around like slaves just drive me nuts.
  2. One is level 12 and the other level 7. Both are climbing rather quickly. You might want to add what the character's minimum level is in your readme. Since the rival does not start out the way other companions do, I see no problem with letting the plot just develop. The Rival can always start interacting as the main character levels up.
  3. I will keep you updated in your thread about this mod. I still have not noticed anything unusual while having this mod active in two different save games with different mods running. One has OOO with lots of quest mods, the other has the load order listed in my first post.
  4. I have two different characters trying this out. One is attempting to keep up with the rival, sheesh she runs fast. The other has the mod activated and just playing the game as normal. I have not noticed any problems in either game yet. I do believe no news is good news.
  5. As far as something like Kvatch disappearing like that goes, I have found that the more mods I have running the more likely it is that something completely wierd and unpredicitable will happen. I had just gotten my new main character through the main quest and part of verona house bloodlines, then went up to minicyrodiil and started exploring the basement. That save crashes the game every time I try to load it. However, when I run one of my testing characters through that basement, it works fine. No crashing, no glitches or anything.

  7. I really like this work. I am looking forward to seeing it. If you need help with beta testing, proofreading or anything like that, let me know. I am always happy to help with those aspects of modding. I use a race based on the BP mod that is available, but in order to get it to work I had to make a duplicate of a base race, merge that plugin with BP and then modify to come up with what I wanted.
  8. Hello. I have been doing some beta testing for WhoGuru. I am available to test just about anything. I do have a character set up for testing that is part way through the main quest and the mages guild questline. She did kill La Chance so I would have to set up another one to do any DB add ons. (unless someone is working on a mod that fights the DB instead of adds on). I do like keeping WillieSea's Mini Cyrodiil though, cause I can get anywhere pretty quickly. I will be pm'ing you later today or tomorrow WhoGuru. I did get through the maze. For some reason I kept half expecting to run into a teleporter that would ramdomly transport me around. Now that would be particularly wicked.

  10. I am thinking that I should post my load order on the character I use for testing things. Should I do that in this thread or somewhere else?
  11. A possibility for people who get frustrated with puzzles but do not want to look at the walkthrough -- a way to look for clues or hints towards solving the puzzles in game. There could be a number of ways to do this, entries in the quest journal, litle notes on scraps of paper, or a journal lying around somewhere.
  12. Thanks Rowan, I will look at that. WindmillTilter, I test whatever comes my way, assuming I have time, which I can almost always find. DaMage -- that maze is absolutely wicked.
