  1. Update: I found where the items are in the construction set, but I'm unclear on how to alter their Hide Amulet option.
  2. Ok, so I'm still reading an article in the CS wiki on how to do some of this. I've never used it at all before, so I'm not sure how to load things or make something an active file but it sounds like if I did that this would be fairly rudimentary. Color me hopeful! OK! I got the mod and the master file loaded. and the mod's .esp is active.. now to decipher how to do the rest of it...
  3. ok.. I'm sure there's a resource out there about it.. I'll get to reading!
  4. Sweet, thanks! Looks like I posted this incorrectly.. my mistake, thanks for the move!
  5. Hey all, I'm wondering if there's a way to tweak a mod that I've got running on my game to show necklaces and amulets through the chest pieces it adds. I know there is a way to do this with Wrye Bash, but (I guess I have to admit this) I run OBMM and am not sure I can run both. Is that possible? Either way, I'd rather have the ability to pick and chose which chest pieces that show them, rather than making it a default (however, I will accept defeat and use such as a secondary option, if I can't figure it out). I'm guessing there's a tweak that I can do to make this possible.. maybe? also: I'm more than a noob at actually modding things.. as in I JUST added music to my game and consider that a step towards modding from what I know otherwise.
  6. Yup.. that's the one! I killed the goblin, and he kinda just flew into the position he's in in the shot! Then I notice a ton of beers over in the other corner of the room... I mean I was planning on taking pictures anyway, hahaha.
  7. Blew off a little steam with A couple buddies the other night.. thought it might qualify here That's Dave... we had a few laughs and a few beers. Bill drank too much and, as skeletons do, collapsed in a heap of disorganized bones. I think he'll be ok by morning...
  8. Cybiades has a hood that gives off a partly covered face while keeping the features visible, but it's really more a part of an adventure mod than an "item" mod.
  9. Was just going to start this thread!! I just found out that you could do this last night (and was up until 2 adding things) For Towns: I use selected tracks by Danny Elfman. Some of the "nicer" ones (from Edward Scissorhands, Willie Wonka, Big Fish, and Sleepy Hollow to be exact) I also use the "Concerning Hobbits" track from LOTR For Dungeons: More Danny Elfman.. but this time from Batman Returns, Willie Wonka (think the boat ride, it's PRICELESS when in a ruin filled with goblins ), and the creepy stuff from Sleepy Hollow. i also use a track or two from the movie "The Rock", and some LOTR stuff like "Shelob's Lair" from Return of the king and Treebeard's theme. ... I know there's more... I use tons of cave stuff. For Battles: A lot of the score of "Matrix Reloaded", some tracks from Kill Bill, A wonderful track from Beetlegeuse, and a uh.. track or two from the Anime "Bleach" For Exploring: Here's where Howard Shore and LOTR really kicks in.. lots of Rohan themed stuff as well as the fellowship themed pieces. Also some stuff from Afro Celt Sound System (band), The Rock, and assorted Danny Elfman (Yes, I know I love him too much ) The stuff I'm really trying to find more suitable music for is while in town. Oh and I still have all the Vanilla music running.. It meshes pretty well, actually! EDIT: Whoguru, where do you find that remix of the theme? I'd like to give it a listen!
  10. I'm more of a "gosh look how perty this place is" kinda guy.. so I tend to use mods that add to the landscape or the utility of it.. that being said, in no particular order: 1. Unique Landscapes 2. Better Cities 3. Nicorishi Creations (gorgeous bows and some great swords and armor too.. plus ya gotta find 'em!) 4. Hoarfrost Castle (am I missing out on Glennvar castle?) 5. Clocks of Cyrodiil 6. Animated Window Lighting 7. StarX Vanilla Vampires Revised (ok so this one can be buggy during the character creation stage and wasn't finished as far as storylines go, but it's got a ton of new armors and weapons and the vampires are CREEPY!) 8. Wooden Bows Leather Armor by Brash (great stuff for elves/rangers.. including the ability to fletch arrows!) 9. Clean Quit 10: Let the People Drink! Honorable mentions: Candles for Cleptos, JQ backpacks, antiquated map, retros fletching and imbuing. Notes: I haven't played through Knights of the white stallion, Lost Spires, Malevolent, Verona House, or Vaults of Cyrodiil, so I'm not mentioning them in the top ten.. but I DO have them installed and will be getting to them on one character or another soon I'm sure. I'll also try and download the Origin of the Mages guild stuff.. it sounds great!
