    Thanks for the welcome!Its good to hang out somewhere other than my usual forum haunt.Still looking for some Professors for vanilla scripting?Some ideas I have:- How to script custom spells into the game. Full spell tomes, simple activators, merchants, add to player on mod load quests, etc..- Creating cool flame on/off scripts to control lights in your mod.- Scripting a trigger zone to do special stuff. Open doors, set off traps, that sort of stuff.- Scripting weapon enchantments to perform special functions on those hit.- Plus requests... Need that special script for a mod of yours, let it be a topic!And I am not ashamed to say when I don't know how to do something...

    Upgrades for the Alliance

    We need to continue raising money for the site upgrades. Since, the donations block auto resets every month, I've added this progress bar here so that those of you who have donated can keep an eye on our progress! And those of you who wish to donate can see how close we are to goal!

    To date we have collected $325.00 USD toward our goal of $355.00

    Only another $30.00 until we meet our goal and can bring the site to full operation!!!!

    Some of you may notice, our need has increased, this is due to the addition of another IP Module to bring user blogs to the Alliance.

    Remember you can also purchase forum medals from the benefactor series, all proceeds of which go into the site!

    It's things like that which add realism to any mod! My current project Reclaiming Sancre Tor also tries to make an abandoned fort into a usable space with a functioning guard. The biggest issue I had in the interior of the fort was placing enough statics to make the space look used without killing the fps count! LOL

    Will we be getting some screenshots soon?  :)

    Let me address Darkrider's issue now. One thing that the JP modder community lacks is a central location, like our TES Nexus, or the Beth forums, so I've heard. Instead, there are little pocket communities everywhere, like on 2ch, and the like. So my friend is unaware of any JP VAs. We only came to be friends initially because I was a fan of his mod, and he had questions about English. I will still pester my hubby on your behalf. :wave:


    This is the issue I have had in finding a contact. It seemed like the only boards I tracked down were very seldom visited by steady users. I'm not ready to give up yet, I think bringing the Japanese language to a predominantly English mod would be a nice reach out to the JP mod community!

    You have some good experience under your belt! I'm sure you'll be an asset to the VAP! I've been trying like mad to make a contact in teh Japense modding community, think you could ask your friend Pela if he/she knows any voice actors who can perform dialogue IN Japanese?  :wave:

    Welcome to the Alliance! The Voice Actors Project is a VA club we host here as a modders resource. If you want to join the VAP, click on USERS>VoiceActorsProject>Join Group and I'll add you to their ranks!

    Once your a VAP member you can view all of the VAP forums including workshops on creating voice files and the Archive where you can create your own file!

    We do have such a forum...but up until today it was locked!  I was actually just about to unlock it when I found your thread, so congrats you have the first! aa_biggrin.gif

    It's not clear what you need written, it seems you have a pretty good plot going already. What kind of things do you need written? Perhaps if you outline exactly what you need, a writer or 2 may be able to take different pieces and kocked them out for you!  :)

    Do you want people to post links to usefull tutorials here?

    If you have a tutorial or 2 or 5 that you would like to post links to here by all means, carry on!

    I do ask that you post your links with a description of what it is and what it's used for so that even novices can surf the links they need with ease! And that you try not to repost something that is already in the main list!! :)
