I just switched my pre-order over today.
As far as I know the EB games (Canada) verison still has the art book
http://www.gamestop.ca/pc/games/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-collectors-edition/311373
It likely just varries according to your location like usual.
Yeah, that's the collector's edition. That's what I ordered too. The other one is a special EB version - very different. Has a metal case, a journal and a few art cards.
They are certainly giving out lots of options....
-
I went ahead and ordered the CE. I don't think the EB games one comes with the art book. I think that's a blank journal for you to make notes in - still very cool, but I decided I wanted the art. I was also able to order locally, so shipping is free.
-
Interesting idea. Boy it's going to be hard to decide which edition to get...
-
Just noticed it's now listed on GameStop Canada!

Actually Gstaff made a comment on the Beth blog that is making us think it will include the "synthetic burlap" map, as he put it. If you look closely at the picture, you'll see that there are ripples along the edge, like you would see with fabric, which you wouldn't see with paper.
So I'll be preordering too once it's added to Canadian vendors.

I suggest completing the tutorials as they are laid out. There is a lot of material to cover and they touch on pretty much everything (except Northmarkers, unless DR remembered what his blank post was for... ).

Except that it's a plastic statue, not resin. PVC is the same plastic they use in the pipes in your house. If it was resin, I'd be on the order in split, but plastic - my cats will chew on it!
-
Ah the wonders of youthful enthusiasm
-
That was not the cloth map in the picture. So I would say no. You get a cheap plastic statue instead. So a cheap plastic statue or a fine burlap map... Hmmm...

This Wiki page probably has way more information that what you really need. But they do explain the difference between single link and dual link DVI connectors.

It's entirely possible it doesn't like the IsInCombat test for some reason. When Oblivion scripts run into something that returns an invalid result, they will cease running altogether. It's possible that IsInCombat is only applicable to NPC's - I really don't know.

OBSE has GetSpells and GetLeveledSpells, if you aren't adverse to using OBSE.
For your other problem, have you tried putting the OnDeath block first, followed by the GameMode block? I'm not sure it makes any difference, but I usually see them switched around.

That is cool!! Thanks for finding that!

I recommend search the ubuntu site for this error. I'm pretty sure we had the same problem, but it was so long ago, we don't remember what the fix was. But I know we found the answer in the ubuntu help somewhere - either in the fourms or one of the sites themselves. A general google seach should turn up something.

And this finally prompted my _____ husband to sign up and get back to working on this So, you've got some help LHammonds
We've been looking at this for the last few months, but needed to get up to speed on Max. My husband is a professional programmer, but not familiar at all with plugin programming for 3ds Max. His id on the NifTools forum is jdigriz. So he'll see you there.

CPU, not GPU. But at least we know it's not tied to specific graphics cards now
This is all a blur anyway - my eyesight is getting very bad, although I should have picked up on AMD...
Intel CPU, obviously Nvidia graphics.
-
Yeah, the trouble saving just for creating the light entry alone is odd, because I've never seen it and don't know of anyone else who has. Just the placement issue.
As long as you don't use OBSE specific functions your mod won't need OBSE.
@Willie: Could be, I have an AMD CPU. Maybe AMD is more strict about this?
Nope. I've got Nvidia and have the same problem... Very strange.

Hey Cad, welcome to TESA... Yeah, you know me already
Have a cookie They do that in lieu of fishy sticks here - much tastier

I'm going to give this a try, although I suspect it's going to scare the crap out of me! I remember those sounds from Daggerfall and they made me a nervous wreck. Mind you, I think part of that was that I was hopelessly lost in those damned generated dungeons they used...
-
That reminds me - I'd better copy my floppies to CD before my last machine with a FD dies... The floppies I'll be copying where really floppy originally - I've already done one copy from 5 1/4 to 3 1/2!

You should have known whatever forum our Rules thread is housed in is probably the least visited place
Hey! We read the rules - doesn't mean we follow them though
Back to the topic at hand: Post as soon as you have progress to report and you're sure the mod will get done. The next challenge is updating your WIPz post regularly. I know we've been too damned busy

Glad you got it sorted. Amadaun has been ill today so she wouldn't be able to help atm.

We just did a custom animation recently by copying the animation nodes from another mesh. Now I'm not a modeller, so I can't give you detailed instructions, but here's the gist of what we did.
Basically open the NIF of the object you want to animate. If you can't open the file for the door you want to animate, then use a similar one and change the texture so that it looks like the one you want. Then open the NIF for an animated door and copy the animation nodes. If the parent nodes have the same naming convention, you'll be able to copy them in directly, otherwise you'll have to do some renaming either on the source or the target so that the node names match. Then import the new mesh into Blender and fix up the timings, if necessary.
If this is too sketchy for you to follow, let me know and I'll ask our animator to drop in and explain what she did.

Perhaps you could ask everyone to delete their old statuses... I cleaned mine out a while ago... Rather extreme perhaps. Would going through and removing all the emotes help?
We've got a test setup too, but it's hard to test load related issues in a test setup.

Yeah... Considering I'm setting up a brand new board, I really don't like this! *worried*
