That is begging for some chocolate eggs. Great work! The texture surely looks like porcelain. Does this mean we'll see an easter bowl in oblivion soon?
  2. For those who haven't seen it yet, or missed Witty's update here on the forums, IGN has posted an interview with Todd Hoawrd about Skyrim. You can find it here. Just go ahead and read it; it's entertaining. There are also a few new screenshots.
  3. I'm just a bit spoiled on that department. My cellphone has a really good camera (for a phone). It's a Nokia 6720. On the other aspects it's a pretty standard phone; it even has number keys, unlike all those smartphones out there .
  4. That is correct. There once was a hardy young lad of the sea... A Redguard of honor and courage was he... Sail on, my Cyrus, sail on...
  5. I actually get some pretty acceptable FPS outdoors (around 20) but when a crowd comes, it gets close to single figures. It's just that when it comes to loading some areas, it gets slow since my RAM is kind of old and slow. Still, 2 Gbs of it. And as far as your question, well, I can't really answer that, can I? I didn't include multiple choices for a reason...
  6. It really is grainy. Zoomed all the way or is it just a bad camera? Get another picture so we can see it clearly .
  7. Stillwater Marsh It has the bare minimum for the homework and the extra points; I'll get around to make it pretty later on. After quite a long time, I decided to take the classes; all this after spending two months in the CS working on my mod. I guess this is a nice distraction for those times when I feel like modding but not on my main project.

  9. It's hard to beat someone who spends 15% of his Oblivion game time staring at loading screens... Ok, I'll try to exercise some of my scarce knowledge of lore: what's the name of the pirate from Malvulis song? It's an easy one, I reckon.
  10. B) Kantus Jeril That shows up on a loading screen, if I recall correctly.
  11. Glad it's sorted. We're here to help, after all . I still don't know why I didn't suggest installing newer drivers before, even though that doesn't always solve the problem...
  12. Are you using any mod that alters the ambient light of the dungeons? I know of a few "offenders" and I use one myself. Vanilla Oblivion dungeons are quite bright and you barely need a torch to navigate them, at least I don't. I'm asking this because, since your Brightness option is locked, that might be a problem not related to any mods. Also, does everything else look appropriately bright (or dark)? If so, that's a strange issue. If you are using mods, just deactivate them or, if you don't mind a bit of nibbling in the CS, turn the ambient light up a few notches (quite a hefty work, I know...). EDIT: I've found a mod that may help you: Brighter Caves. Haven't tested it myself but it must do what it says, which is make most caves brighter. This saves you from the hassle of going into the CS and tweaking the ambient light cave by cave. All this provided it's just an in-game, dungeon problem and not something more serious, so to speak.
  13. Lately I've been hypnotized (I guess that's the word) by Tool. i already liked them but lately i've been on a listening spree (I didn't know you could have a spree of those).
  14. Holy cow, 920 hours. But the question we all want to see answered is: how many times did you kill the Adoring Fan? Welcome and have one of these before they run out .
  15. Welcome to the Alliance, Aloyse. Here, have one on me:
  16. Major update time! Check the first post. There are some brand new screens now that the mod has taken a different, more "straight to the point" course.
  17. The title may sound misleading but I have no problems with an NPC having voice but not speaking. Actually, I want it to happen the other way around, sort of. I want an NPC to be completely mute: no greetings, no attack sounds, nothing. I've peeked into the dialog window for the NPC but I decided to leave it the way it was before I screwed up something.
  18. Welcome, welcome. Here, have a cookie . I hope you have as much fun here as I do.
  19. Actually, it's that one exactly. The Dwemer tileset, or most of it. I have been waiting for it for some time before he released it (I had seem an old video of his on Youtube and it sparked my curiosity). If he wasn't going to, I was bracing myself to make a tileset, no matter what time it would take. Nevertheless, I decided to unpack the BSA and create my own folder structure. I am doing it by hand (I know I'm crazy) because I want to select exactly which files I'll be using since I won't be using all the files from the tileset. I could have just gone with the BSA as suggested above but that would make my mod unnecessarily large. @donnato: yes, it can be tedious. There are two ways of doing it: by hand, using Nifskope and changing the file paths one by one or using a tool called Texture Replacer. It can change the texture paths of all the files at once. I don't know how to work with it though but I prefer the method Willie describes because that way I can see what the resources look like before I add them in the CS. Anyway, thanks for all the feedback on this. It's been greatly appreciated.
  20. I see. Turns out I just wanted the easy way out when there was none . I think that what the modder meant when he stated that he wanted the BSA to be packed with the dependent mod is just to acknowledge that the resources came from it. Simple as that. My idea was just extending that to include only what i'd use but since that isn't possible, I'll stick to unpacking the BSA and creating my own resources. Thanks a lot for clearing this for me.
