  1. get the laughter out first..............ok?.............allrightythen i have a dell ok.....well wait for the laughter to stop........ specs:Dell Inspiron 1440 Intel Dual Core@2.20GHZ OS:Windows 7 Home Premium 4 GB Ram 300 GB HDD Mobile Intel Series 4 chipset family I read in my research to tweak this POS that getting into the BIOS configuration that you should be able to increase the VGA shared memory which basically adds more vRAM by using your system RAM.I've scoured my computer for that info(my BIOS is the Dell A07),ive pressed F12 in boot-up just cant seem to find it. Amazingly enough with a coupla tweaks i got Oblivion to play quite well onthis laptop.150+mods.Interiors are smooth,unless there is alot of enemies,butthe Exterior world is where i run into alot of stuttering.not unplayable,just annoying.Int.15-20 FPS Ext.3-7 FPS.I have streamline,stopped using OSR as i dint like the Slo-Mo effect(the stuttering moved faster)Operation Optimization didnt help much either. Does VGA shared memory do this and does anyone know how i can find the setting on this machine? Thank You

  4. yeah that did it.now she actually looks like a cute elf.thanx.will post screenshots when im done figuring out these idle poses and the dmc walks.so far i got the walk without a sword and the walk with a one hand sword.having trouble trying to getthe walk with two hand sword without overwriting the sword on shoulder idle(which is the two handed sword idle).tried renaming the 0Sexywalk01.kf to twohandforward.kf.all that did was give me the one hand walk that comes with sexy walk.any ideas how i could mix the pose withe walk?
  5. @arion.yes thats been the issue.when i start a new game i pick the race but i cant change her eyes.and it random what hey are,sometimes red sometimes black.the hair cant be changed either.so far redownloading and putting it dead last without merging and importing lets me use th mod as it should be.the strange thingwas that the first version i had seemed corrupted somehow.i only say this because when i did my clean re install of oblivion in order to get FCOM goodness(which is there....finally)i did the exact same thing.i built the patch without cute elves in at all.then activated it to be last in the load order and it still wouldnt let me change the eyes or hair.so my limited thinking got me to redownload it and try that and now it works.it seems that the import and merge did something with the eye and hair options.idk any other explanation. and when i first downloaded it it did work.and i never had any conflicts with it in my obmm.is it possible that since rens is a part of cute elves(also a couple more beauty packs in there)that importing takes those resources and spraeds them out over the race lists?and then not put them back?just shooting some hairbrained theories. im not sure ill need to extract.as i said the new download works just fine(its the same 1.3.5 that i downloaded before),i just cant put it in to the bash patch without the stated issues. just bear with me im still learning how to do most of this.my current project is trying to use DMC stylish with mur_zik's sexywalks.i found a solution on blade of mecy's 50 +++ page and am trying to get that to work.TES4Edit seems easy enough yet im playing cautios.still studying the blender interface for creating things for the game.and animation.and tescs,etc.etc.this game taught me alot about what goes in to a game.and how much work you have to do in order to play the damn thing!!lolz!!! and can someone tell me why even with the HGEC body mod(or even exnems)a dainty little cute elf,wood elf,or even imperial women have man hands?i kid you not.i open up my inventory she has a dainty female body yet hands and arms like a guy.........weird.no im not using roberts mod.theyseem to be the vanilla arms andhands.i heard that bethesda basically gave male and female much the same with some features,is there a mod or patch that fixes this?

SORRY ABOUT THAT.FIGUREDNIT OUT(KINDA)i deleted the omod and redownloaded the omod and put it in dead last(outside the bashed patch)and it works.my only theory is that it got corrupted somehow in the importing and merging.idk..........somewhere a snowmonkey laughs.lolz onward to learning how to merge esp's with gecko,so my 100+armor mods can go in.thank you for your help p.s.if you do happen tpo figure it out or come up witha better theory let meknow.thanx also found a hot fix for DR5 so i got ir in the bashed patch and so far so good.
  7. yeah so anyway.... i did a clean install of the game,added one by one all themods,building and rebuilding patches as i went.everything is in.thanks for the links. and yet,im totally lost with this one.the cute elves thing,even building a patch and activating the omod as the last to load,example Black templar armor bashed patch cute elves still CANNOT change eyes and hair. built the patch with it in,CANNOT change eyes and hair, put rens in and took rens out still the same thing tried removing tags tried dating it to no avail any ideas whats causing this?
  8. just a quick one the cute elves thing......before i bashed the patch,i only had OOO,MMM and a coupla small mods added,i chose the character,could choose eyes hair,and when i got in game she had all her abilities(coupla spells and a necklace thingy announcing rank)thats been my main characterso a clean save will have to be done with her,,.....but anyway,it was when i bashed the patch and went too start a new game(the first one mentioned here was actually the guinea pig,but became the main because of this),thats when i couldnt change eys or hair.so its all in there this i know and this is where im wondering what exactly importing does and if im doing something wrong.when i get the rebuild of my game done(either today ro in the next couple of days we'll see)i'll try to get some screenshots of my patch building.i only have the trial version of fraps but ill do what i can so you can get a better sense of what im saying here.i am going to go through the link you gave me and follow that as best i can as the step by step seems pretty damn good.PYFFI'ing im not yet ready for anyway but i will look into it as my interest in modding and gamemaking is growing more and more. but as far as it goes it may be the install order i did.ill let you know...lata playa

  10. well ive been fighting with it all day.hardcore doesnt quite cover it.(thought i heard my computer weeping and plotting a very bloody demise for me)my bash patch is usually right after unneccessary violence(not sure why that didntcopy o_O)and its active.as for deadly reflex i read somewhere(i think it was dev_akm'sFCOM page....and on more than one occassion during my search)that its best to load dead last,and not to be merged(iguess it causes CTD's in some cases)so i moved the bash patch to just before deadly reflex and got MMM activity in viverin AND got warcry.but i didnt get to change my elfs eyes or hair.i figured there was a certain way to put them all in but everywhere i looked didnt find anything like what you said.dev_akm's page was good but didnt get in depth for install order(ive seen ooo 1st mmm 2nd,etc. a few different versions on different pages) i guess(or is outdated which is what i think) i uninstalled frans as a experiment this morning just before i got your post all of those you stated ARE merge patches(MMM looting,etc.,etc) i have the UOP's (forgot to put them in) i didnt put in mobs as i thought it was a part of fran's like realswords. my MMM is an omod and didnt give a .esp for knights ill hunt one down im gonna figure the unofficial DLC patch is the unofficial official mods patchwhich i got today. have the uop shivering isles(why that wasnt in i dont know coulda swore i actvated it)and got the mobs version for frans i knew this wouldnt be easy.everywhere i read says that fcom is a beast. so a coupla questions.....does the bash patch .esp keep that info in there even though you rebuild it?say for example i build it once and it has my ooo stuff does that remain when i add mmm and rebuild it withh ooo and mmm?.....hmmmm....thats not what im trying to say i think....maybe keep ooo/....ooo/mmm no overwrite idk i hope you see what i mean...is it doublingup the ooo(if so that would explain an issue i was running into ,build it with everything checked,then try with only a coupla things checked start game,select load,and the loading screen would only go a quarter of the way ) and should i copy a new patch for when i do this ALL.......OVER.....AGAIN*sighs* all of these are omods so ill deactivate them,defrag my folder,and start again. will also try that date trick.i didnt experiment too much with any of the features because i dont want my computer to gak up on me(thing gave me the finger today)so ill copy your response to my desktop get some coffee and hide the hammer so i dont do something stupid. *sighs again*all was well with just OOO & MMM.....why oh why oh why and thanks for all your help.i appreciate it.will let you know after i do this how it works.

I have OBMM,BOSS and Wrye Bash.i use OBMM for main mod actvation,BOSS to sort,and Wrye to bash them.my FCOM is FCOM convergence and i DL'd uFCOM which is the omod conversion data by dev_akm ok.i always use BOSS.heres how i do it. deactivate deadly reflex run BOSS reactivate DR left click oblivion.esm scroll down to unneccessary violence Shift/left click select mark mergable,get the pop up of mergables right click on the bashed patch,rebuild go through and click on everything to be merged/imported start game in game i leave the sewers and go to vilverin.in there the first NPC i meet should be a viverin thug.along the way there should be a coupla uberhulk larvaes,and the second level has always varied(even when it was just OOO and MMM)from skeletons with some armor to some zombie mistress/and her elven undead.i also go to fort urasek to see if the fallen ones are there.thats my test to see if its all in. so i did it again,start new game,pick cute elf(i imported evrything including race records)CANNOT change eyes or hair.so i go to my save game at the end of the starter dungeon and go to vilverin.no uberhulks,no thugs,just a slaughterfish flopping on the shore and a bandit as i head down into vilverin,but i go to ft urasek and the fallen ones are there this time.so im not sure what im doing wrong with it. ever since i got BOSS i trust the load order it givesandi always read the report it gives.so here's my loadout this is what BOSS just did.so if im missing something or theres a mod im running that i shouldnt(i know the last to load gets used)whats overwriting what?any help is appreciated as i would love to play it not just mod it. the realistic force i only use one,and my bashed patch is above SWalk.esp
  12. wrye bash issues part 2 ok.so i got it to work.and having experimented with it i gotta ask....WTF!?! without bashing the patch and only having ooo and mmm in,i go to viverin and have the thugs and new types of skeletons,put in warcry,frans,and fcom its no longer there. how exactly do you build the patch. i imported everything and it all goes away in game.another example,i use the cute elf mod.at first i can change eyes,hair.i bash the patch and i cant do that anymore. so iguess i need to know what importing does exactly(the readme and help files dont explain it)and what exactly doi need to do in order to get all of it.frans wouldnt even show up.should i uncheck all im importing? thank you for your help in this.
  13. Cool.i got it to work.and i'll look here for those blender tutorials.your tutorials for the CS are the best i found so far.hopefully the blender tutorials are as good.thank yu both i appreciate the help.
  14. thank you very much.i will post back as soon as i do this and let you know if it worked.now one more thing....blender...will it still go through python wherever i put it?as i said im only just learning the tool and the tutorials i found so far are crap.im still having trouble with the interface.but thats still later for me as im cruising through the tescs rightnow.made a coulpa personal homes and am working on something to upload,simple house but hey walk first right?once again thank you.
  15. im having issues with wrye bash.so imgoing to let you know what i got and where it is as im having issues setting up my game for the mix of OOO,MMM,fran's and Warcry.i know i gotta do a clean install,unfortunately my disc is gone now.i have th direct 2 drive(steam,...i hat them...lolz)so here it is: Dell Inspiron INSP1440 Pentium Dual-Core CPU T4400 @2.20 GHz/2.20GHz 4.00 Gb RAM 300 Gb HDD Windows 7 64-bit OS Mobile Intel 4series family chipset(gayness but im saving for a better computer) I know this aint crap to play this game with but amazingly enough i getverylittle sttutter in-game.settings aren't maxed but about halfway and does well enough.(even CoDMW2 plays well at optimal settings) now locations. My Game is located C:/Program Files(x86)/Bethesda/Oblivion i used the wrye bash self installerwhich put it in my oblivion folder. the wrye python installed all those components into my oblivion folder as well i installed blender at a recommeneded location,these are the instructions i followed and it works fine(still learning the interface) and am wondering since they had me change install locations and if i even have the right python for wrye bash.i read somewhere you need2.5.5 in order for it to work best.and i got 2.6.5 to work with blender. Installation Install Blender and the required support files per the following instructions. This was documented on a Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit) machine. This documentation was designed to work well for Vista or Windows 7. NOTE: You must use the 32-bit versions until all components have 64-bit editions. You cannot mix-n-match. Install Python Source: Python.Org 1. Run Python-2.6.5.msi 2. Setup - Select "Install for all users" and click Next 3. Select Destination - Click Next to accept default of C:\Python26\ 4.   16. i have a question.....im starting new at this.i put the heron blade in my house tutorial type coc and go there,i pick it up and equip but in the <tab>menu theres no image in hand,and when i exit menu its on my char back but when i try to draw it my char goes into a stutter mode and doesnt draw.i followed your instructions didnt make it uber powerful or nothing did i miss something?should i put it inthe game world itself?is there textures or script missing?or should the .esp be in the folder as well.thanx for the help
