  1. I'm quite upset about this, it's just outright mean, low and backstabbing that someone who is meant to be your friend would say things like this about you when they are protected by the mask of the internet.

"Between You And Me", an app on Facebook, is horrible. I mean, it lets anyone in your friends say anything about you, even if you yourself don't use the app, and it allows people in your friends to answer offensive questions on you. Problems are, if they do, then they obviously aren't your friend if they don't just skip the offensive question, and that you don't know who the "friend" (Really cyberbully) is until you play it's little game. People in my friends answered these questions on me, and a lot of them are horribly just wrong to say about anyone, and I don't even know who said what. It's rude and upsetting really. :(

It just advocates cyberbullying. What I'm annoyed about most is that the people that say these things about you are meant to be your friends, so it just adds insult to injury. ><

  2. Marina & The Diamonds = Brilliant singer, amazing voice. She's also very clever, every song she writes has a very deep meaning, she's not just another pop star. :D Love her music, because she's different to everything else out there; very unique.

Her new album just came out in America yesterday, and is currently at #12 in the album charts I think. (Album is called "Electra Heart.")

(Btw, right now you can get this song for free by signing up to her newsletter on her official website, I don't know how long until the offer runs out though.)

Marina & The Diamonds - Homewrecker Live Acoustic (

    )

And also, a song from her last album, "The Family Jewels."

Marina & The Diamonds - Obsessions

Just thought I'd share her, because right now I'm addicted to her new album. :) (And her old one. :lmao: )

  3. Hiya TESA!

So I've been run off my feet with schoolwork, spending my free time figuring out the changes between making races in Oblivion's CS and making races in Skyrim's CK, and I've got the hang of it now. Although I have absolutely no idea how any of Skyrim's races have different shaped heads when they are all linked to the exact same mesh.

I'm near completion of my first mod for Skyrim, an elven race, although 1) I don't know how to give it an elven head and 2) The vanilla elven heads don't look too nice so I don't actually want to use them.

So I would like to use the human head with elven ears, only problem is that now heads and ears are all part of the same mesh, unlike in Oblivion where they were seperate.

So my request is that someone would please edit the human male and female headmeshes (Male: meshes\actors\character\character assets\malehead.nif) (Female: meshes\actors\character\character assets\femalehead.nif) so that the ears look elven. The only specifics in what the ears should look like is that I'l like the ears to have a slight distinctive curve. It'd be great if someone can help me. :)

All of my craftwork projects are being handed up within the next week, so I'll be back and properly active again soon. :D

    Thanks everyone! :)

  4. LOL This joke is good. XD

A woman walks into a bank in New York City and asks for the loan officer. She says she’s going to Europe on business for two weeks and needs to borrow $5,000. The bank officer says the bank will need some kind of security for the loan, so the blonde hands over the keys to a new Rolls Royce car. The car is parked on the street in front of the bank; she has the title, and everything checks out. The bank agrees to accept the car as collateral for the loan. The bank’s president and its officers all enjoy a good laugh at the woman for using a $250,000 Rolls Royce as collateral against a $5,000 loan. An employee of the bank then drives the Rolls Royce into the bank’s underground garage and parks it there. Two weeks later, the woman returns and repays the $5,000 and the interest, which comes to $15.41. The loan officer says, “Miss, we are very happy to have had your business, and this transaction has worked out very nicely; but we are a little puzzled. We checked you out and found that you are a multimillionaire. What puzzles us is - why would you bother to borrow $5,000?†The woman replies.....â€Where else in New York City can I park my $250,000 Rolls Royce car for two weeks for only $15.41 and expect it to be there when I return?â€
  5. "Nina, stop." Haunt told her firmly, as she turned to meet his gaze.

"What? Why?! If we don't get this sorted now those bags of bones wi-" Nina began to snap in a confused panic.

"Nina, trust me, you just watch my back with Red and Grond, and whatever you do, do not let the Draugr get near me." Haunt consoled her.

"I.....allright. You better know what you're doing!" Nina shouted as she ran to Red and Grond's side. As she did so, she heard a sound like nothing she had ever heard before, she turned to see Haunt frozen in a light.

"What in Oblivion is he doing?!" Nina panicked at the sight of him.

"If it gets us through that door, I don't care!" Grond replied as he swung his hammer into the decaying ribcage of a Draugr, shattering it's bones, then taunting the others approached from the dark corridors that were still only a few moments before.

"Nina, behind you!" Red called, a Draugr creeping up on the Nord.

"Damn bonewalkers!" Nina screamed as she drew her dagger and thrust it into her undead foe.

"I think we have a bit of a problem....." Muttered Red.

"A bit of a problem? What do you mean you think we have a bit of a problem?! More than the one we have?!" Nina's eyes widened as she asked the red haired bard.

"Look....." Red gestured to the Draugr Grond had knocked down, it's bones pulling back together.

"Oh, don't tell me.....they're just going to get back up again and again....." Nina groaned, the fear had taken it's toll and she had gone emotionally numb. Red nodded, as Nina suddenly screached as the Draugr she had just decimated grabbed onto her ankles.

"Get off of me!" Nina screamed as she began to shake the creature off and kick it in it's head.

"Heh, makes no difference to me, besides more bone crushin'!" Grond shrugged as he once again smashed his hammer into the reanimating Draugr's bones. The majority of the Draugr now entering the room.

"Looks like we're in for some fun....." Red chimed as she drew her sword with her crooked smirk.

"Fun? This is killin' me!" Nina mumbled as she reluctantly prepared herself for the horde of relentless undead approaching.

There was a flash of light and a rumble as suddenly Haunt began to glow brighter.

"Haunt said not to let these creeps get to him!" Nina half shouted, half groaned.

"Best not let them, then....." Red signalled to Grond, who then charged into the undead, Grond flinging his hammer to and fro from the walking remains of ancient warriors. Red flanked them, cutting off arms and severing bones. Nina used her bow, sniping them as best she could, the arrows, though not as effective as against the undead as a blade, allowed her to keep her distance.

Grond tried crushing their bones into dust as much as he could, making it as hard as possible for the Draugr to recover, while Red found herself surround by a group of them.

"I wonder if they have any brains left." Red wondered to herself, as she taunted two different Draugr opposite eachother. They both attempted to take a swing at her, as she rolled out of the way and they slashed into eachother, losing both of their sword arms.

"That answers that question." She laughed to herself.

Nina realised keeping her distance wasn't helping her at all, as a Draugr Overlord picked her out as an easy target.

"Damnit....." Nina sighed as she drew her sword again. "OK Nina, time to overcome your fear.....just beat the damn thing back into it's own grave." She whispered to herself, taking a swing towards it's arm, the Draugr dodging it and retaliating with it's own swing towards her neck, which she just about outmanuevered. Nina then returned the favour by attempting a thrust towards the Draugr's own neck, failing when it grabbed her wrist, twisting it so she would have to kneel down before it.

"Allright, I don't think I'll be over this fear anytime soon....." Nina whispered panickingly to herself, closing her eyes waiting for the end. "I'm sorry....." She sighed.

She was startled to the sound of bone breaking and opened her eyes to Grond standing above the now crushed Draugr, it's hand still holding firmly to her wrist, she began to pry it's fingers off from around her skin. "Sorry for what now?" Grond reached his hand down to her with a smile, helping her to stand back up. Nina smiled back at him. "For a minute there I thought it was over." She told him.

"Not on my watch, my dear." He said with a wink.

"I could do with a bit of help here, you know!" Red called, holding back the Draugr to the best of her ability.

"On the way dear!" Grond charged forward, and then stopped when light flashed from Haunt for a final time, dispering with a rumble from around him as he rushed forward to the puzzle, his hands moving the pieces with a flurry of clicks following his movements, all of the pieces fitting in perfectly with eachother in order and finally stopping. The image of the puzzle formed into a door, the frame of it a scarab.

"Nina! Quickly! The scarab key!" Haunt called to her. In a heartbeat Nina threw the key to him. He caught it and hurriedly unlocked the door and opened it. "Through the door everyone!" He shouted, Nina ran through like there was no tomorrow, Grond arriving at the door second, waited for Red.

"Ladies first, just mind the spiders." The Nord gestured to the bard. She laughed "Oh you're in for it now, my greyhound!" as she darted through, Grond following her with a chuckle. Haunt conjured up an orb of flame in his hands, and sent it hurtling into the horde of undead, setting them aflame when it exploded, before walking through the door and sealing it shut behind him.

  6. For bird races, there's none that I know of. There is two deer races though. This one looks more like the vanilla deer, it's called "The Hircine." You can find it here:

    http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=31664

The other one I can't link too because it has some images which aren't TESA friendly, but you can find it by searching for the "Chuhrai Race" on Nexus. It's a dear looking race with intricate silver horns that is meant to be a winter spirit. Here's an image of them: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/images/31465-4-1272820747.jpg

    I hope I helped. :)

Oh, and I see you're new to TESA. Welcome! :pints:

  7. Welcome to the Alliance, Narmix! :pints:

That head mesh is fantastic for a 1st organic model. I haven't even looked into making meshes yet, but I can tell that must have been difficult, and there you did it in 20 minutes for the 1st time. :woot: Salutes to you sir. :salute:

I wish you the best of luck, and here's another cookie, eat them all before the bandits come! :ninja::cookie4u:

  8. Welcome to the Alliance, KnightKilo! :pints:

You'll learn modding skills easily here, the Enclave has everything you need to learn how to mod. For new weapon mods there's plenty of people here that can give you help if you need it, lots of meshers and texturers. As for new races, that's my favoured area of modding. So if you ever need help with that, give me a shout. :)

Here, have a cookie, eat it quick, before the bandits come! :ninja::cookie4u:

  9. I'm hoping and thinking mods will take the quests/landmasses route, they're the mods that make the games bigger than they are and that keep them alive. There'll always be companions, house mods, races, weapons and armour being made, but how many of them do you need? There is plenty of variety of each in Oblivion, a lot more in comparison to quests/landmasses. For Oblivion the majority-minority was, pretty much in order: 1) Weapons/Armour. 2) House mods. 3) Races. 4) Companions. & 5) Quests/Landmasses. I'm hoping for Skyrim that quests and landmasses will be made more as they're the mods that really keep it going. While it is impossible that quests/landasses will ever reach the top of the majority, simply because of the shrill willpower modders need to have to get them finished, due to their size. So I'm at a loss at that end really, because the best thing that could be done is the hardest thing to do. So to that end, I hope that more meshes, textures, both redone and new, are made in abundance to give modders a more broad selection of new material to use in their mods.

I can see a few quest mods that could be made just off of the vanilla game's content. (And I'm sure someone will make them.)

    1) Rebuilding Helgen. (Village that gets burned down at the start, would actually be a quick mod seeing how Beth most likely did a quick enable rubble/disable houses, just have to reverse the process, with a quest tied in of course for immersion.)

    2) Restoring Winterhold. (Apparently the city collapsed into the ocean, leaving 3 buildings and the college, not much of a city so I can see someone making a mod to make it one, via "restoring" what was lost. Like Kvatch Rebuilt.)

    3) Dark Brotherhood Expansion. (As you said, too short. There is plenty of room here for expansion. Looks like a new Dark Brotherhood Chronicles is coming our way.)

As for the other factions, haven't played them, so I can't comment. The main quest though, I'd say can't safely have an expansion of any kind, reason being.....

Don't read if you haven't completed the main quest:

At the end of the game Alduin's soul is never absorbed by the player, if you talk to Arngeir afterwards you can even ask him is Alduin dead, and tell him that you never absorbed Alduin's soul. He says he does not know, and that may mean Alduin will return again. So I think Beth is making it very clear he's going to come back again soon, I imagine in an expansion, it does, however, also mean they are playing Alduin up as yet another enemy that just won't die.

Myself, I always love the Daedra. Oblivion had you visit Mehrunes Dagon's Deadlands and Sheogorath's Shivering Isles, but that's not enough, I want to see more. So myself I am making an expansion of a Daedric realm. Which gives me a lot of freedom from everything that's in Skyrim, I can be completely original. After that, I'll make other, smaller quest mods, races, companions and hopefully weapons and armour. So I'm planning to do anything I can. :)

Thank you for posting this, it is good to discuss where we think the modding community is going to go with Skyrim. :)

  10. The inside of the cave was spacious and cold. All sound made by the group echoed around the hallowed cavern. The cave sloped down deep into the earth where a pool stood at the bottom, a small stream trickling down into it from a small hole in the roof of the cave. Light beamed in through it providing a good source of natural light, just enough to see suficiently. Red lit the torches mounted on the stone walls, the flames bringing much needed warmth and light. The warm colours created an atmosphere of life and safety to the tranquil cavern. There was an enclosed pen where the horses were kept. They settled in quickly.

"This is extroadinary." Manan half spoke, half whispered in awe. "I wonder who made this, how, and why. Clearly they were very skilled and intelligent." He continued. Red nodded in agreement. "I'll never forget the day I found it. Perhaps I'll tell you another time though. Right now we need to deal with these bandits." She spoke with an edge of steel in her voice, she meant business, these bandits had no idea what was coming for them. She was looking forward to giving them their not so pleasant surprise.

"No doubt." Manan scoffed. "I like the way you think. There is business to be done." Manan almost cracked a smile, but stopped himself. He had an image to maintain, after all.

"What's the plan? I'm itchin' to crack some skulls." Grond asked impatiently. It had been a whole night since he had fought. Far too long.

"Where did the bandits raid your shipment, Manan?" Nina inquired. She had a plan ready.

"Deep in the forest. They came out nowhere, so I have no idea what direction they came from." Manan answered, shifting in discomfort at how easily ambushed he was.

"Can you take us back there?" Red ventured. She knew what Nina was getting at.

"Hmph." He scoffed once more. "Of course I can."

"Are you thinking what I'm think, Nina?" Red turned to face her. Her crooked smirk beaming with mischief.

"I think I am. One of us poses as bait, and when the bandits ambush us, we turn the tide and ambush them?" Nina glanced to Grond and Manan for their approval. Manan nodded. Grond shrugged. "I'm happy so long as I break some bandit's bones."

    "Who's bait?" Red queried.

"Hardly me or Grond." Manan gestured. "They've already robbed me, and I don't think I look like the most exciting target, not without a shipment of dwarven weapons, anyway." He scoffed. "Grond's looks too strong for them to dare trying. And I'm nothing if I'm not a gentleman, so it will have to be one of you, ladies." He leaned on his cane snidely.

    "Charmed." Red retaliated sarcastically.

"I'll do it." Nina smiled. "The bandits will mistake me for being weak and frail, last mistake they'll ever make. That and I have a lovely little hiding spot under my tunic where I keep my dagger. Bandit makes the wrong move and he'll be in Oblivion before you know it."

    "You're sure?" Red asked.

"Yes, I'm sure." Nina confirmed. "I have you to watch my back, I'll be fine."

"Lead the way, Manan!" Grond cheered.

"Hush, you. We're going. Don't tell me what to do. Be silent and follow me." Manan snapped. "Sheesh, allright, allright....." Grond sighed and rolled his eyes in response.

    ==================================================

After walking miles deeper into the forest, Manan stopped the group. It was nearing dusk and the sun was shining through the trees, tinting the snow a fiery gold. Manan turned to the group. "It's just up ahead. I trust you're prepared, Nina?"

"As ready as I'll ever be." She replied.

"Grond.....could you.....hmm...try to...hide? You'll attract attention very easily in that steel. And then your almost as tall as a giant. Not good for discretion, wouldn't you agree?" Manan gestured to him.

"I'll try my best to stay out of sight." Grond hid in some bushes, his armour clinking in it's ordinary fashion along the way.

"I'll hide over there, bow readied." Red pointed to a large rock concealed by trees.

"I'll give the signal to Red and Grond. You see that rock over there? It was just past that where I got robbed. Walk past there and hopefully our prey will pounce on us. Now Nina, once I've given the signal, I am going to get out of here, I'll meet you all back at the inn in Dragon's Bridge. I have business I must attend to." He reached his hand out to her and they shook hands. "Good luck." He whispered.

"Thanks, pray for us, we'll see you in Dragon's Bridge." And with that, Nina walked down the path.

She breathed deep as she neared the rock. A twig snapped ahead of her and she swore she saw a shadow move. They were there allright, and they were ready and waiting.

She turned around to Manan and gestured to him to signal Red and Grond. He did so, and as quickly so did he leave for Dragon's Bridge. Turning back, a man was standing there, a dagger in his hand.

"Hmm, what have we got here? Lost, are you?" He slyly questioned her.

"I'm a merchant, good sir, and I know exactly where I'm going, thank you."

"A merchant? You'll have to pay the road tax then. A hundred Septims." He put out his hand.

"I'm not paying your kind anything." Nina retaliated.

"My kind? And what kind would that be?"

"Bandits!" Nina roared, pulling her dagger from her sleeve and trying to strike at the him. He dodged her attack.

"My friends, looks like we have an uncooperative victim!" And with that, bandits poured out from the bushes, surrounding Nina in a circle, weapons readied.

"End of the line, missss." An argonian bandit hissed at her.

"Don't be so sure about that." Nina smiled at him.

    "Hmmm?....."

At that moment, Grond and Red came into the fray, a flurry of blade, arrow and blood began between the two groups.

Grond was swinging his hammer wildly, any unfortunate victim meeting it soon retreating, or simply dieing. Unline the trolls they had encountered the night before, these bandits could not handle the damage done by Grond's hammer. Red meanwhile was sniping down any she could, though she quickly had to swap for her knife as they neared her. Nina was likewise using a dagger. Together it was like a deadly dance of death between them as they dodged the blows of the bandits while delivering their own. The fight went on in this chaotic fashion until the last bandit lay dead at their feet.

"Impressive, I must say." A man was leaning against a tree, a bow in his hand, watching them. They all turned to look at him, while doing so a bandit that wasn't quite dead yet tried to take a stab at Grond, the man quickly shot him down, startling Grond, Red, and Nina.

"Yes, you missed one. Should watch out for that in the future. Otherwise it may.....stab you in the back."

"Where did you come from?" Nina asked him, confused.

"I was here all along, waiting for you."

They all looked at each other, confused.

"You.....waited for us?" Grond was suspicious of him, where did he come from? Who was he? What did he want?

    "Indeed I did, Grond."

    This gave Grond a start.

"H-h-how d-do you know my name?!" Grond demanded of him.

"I know all of your names. Grond, Nina and Red. Yes?"

The group didn't know what to make of this.

"What are you?" Nina asked him.

    "A Breton." He answered.

"A Breton?" Red repeated. "You expect us to believe that? Who are you?"

    "You may call me Haunt."

"Haunt? Not your true name, I take it?" Red asked unsure of him.

"Could the same not be said of your identity? Is Red your true name or is it a mask to disguise yourself indefinately? You are a bard, who often serve as spies. 'Twould make sense for you to tell us all lies."

"You do realise that we aren't going to believe a strange man we meet in the middle of nowhere, who knows all of our names, what we do, and says his name is Haunt, right? It comes across as creepy. I think you know more than a little." Red said, puzzled.

"Ah, well indeed my name is not truly Haunt. I will not reveal who I am to you.....yet. I am not an ordinary Breton, though." Haunt replied.

"Hmm? What is different about you?" Red inquired.

"I know all of this about you from Fate. I am a follower of Azura. So you see, I don't just know all of this. I've been told it. I was waiting here today because I am meant to go with you."

"So you're telling us you know a lot about us, because you follow a Daedric Prince. And you've been waiting here for us because that Daedric Prince said you must travel with us?" Grond sounded aggressive and defensive.

"Yes, that's precisely it." Haunt answered.

"Red, Nina, I don't like this." Said Grond.

"I am speaking the truth. I apologize for being so sudden. Fate does work like that though. I am merely following what Azura has told me to do. So what do you say? May I join you?....."

  11. Haunt

    Type:

    Main Player Character.

    Character Name:

He keeps his true name a closely guarded secret, he only reveals his true identity to someone he trusts with his life. It's his way of telling them he has absolute trust in them, and of keeping his true identity safe. He goes by the alias of "Haunt."

    Age:

He says 20, though with an undertone of deceit in his voice.

    Race:

    Believed to be a Breton.

    Occupation:

He refers to himself as a "Messenger of Fate."

    Guardian Stone:

    The Atronach.

    Physical Attributes:

Haunt has pale skin, blue eyes as cold as Skyrim's ice and black, medium length hair that he keeps tidy. He is tall and thin. While he is young he says he says he feels like he has the experience of over a hundred lifetimes, saying his life has been a "twisted shadow darker than the depths of the void." He looks like a normal human, besides the unusual glint in his eyes that suggests he is hiding something about himself. He is quick to state that he is not a vampire should he be questioned about his nature.

    Equipment:

Haunt prefers to use a bow and magic to take down his enemies from afar, using his bow when his magicka has run out, and using his magic to heal any wounds he recieve, which he rarely does. He prefers to mix light armour with robes, to conceal himself and provide himself with practical protection and warmth.

    Background:

Haunt has a past shrouded in shadow. He says he comes from the Isle of Balfiera, where since his childhood he was studying the Direnni Tower for years, trying to solve it's many dark mysteries. He speculates that his time there may have drove him half mad. Apparently he's in Skyrim because "Fate has bigger plans in store for him."

    Personality:

Haunt is intuitive, cunning and observant. He can figure things out quickly and knows how to react to unexpected circumstances. He can spot when someone is lieing and when someone is up to something they shouldn't be. Whether or not he confronts them depends on how it will effect him. Haunt is slow to trust others, and looks out for his own needs up to the point where he makes friends with someone, which he generally does with anyone who he sees as being skilled. Should he be insulted by someone, no matter how skilled they be, he will not hesitate to take any opportunity to bring them down a leg. He is interested in the arcane, mysteries and Fate, which he obsesses with. A devout follower of Azura, he is looking for anyone with what he calls the "spark." He is cautious of others and will seem to be treating everyone like he is testing them at first, because he is as he is always analysing the abilities of others. In conversation he is witty and sly, almost always smirking at the people around him trying to figure him out. He only reveals who he truly is with those he completely trusts.

    Special Abilities:

Extremely accurate with a bow. Fast reflexes. Very agile. Naturally talented in the Arcane. Can read the fate of an individual, though his interpretations are always obscure riddles.
