    Found the village I grew up in on a map from 1645 :o

      The village is called Stratton-on-the-Fosse, in Somerset, England. On the map it says "Stratton-in-the-Fosseway" from what I can tell. The Fosseway is a Roman road joining Lincoln and Exeter. I find it weirdly exciting that it existed that long ago :D

      It probably existed a long time before that. Our town existed in 1250 already.

      btw: The oldest house in our little town was built in 1505 and is still inhabited.
