  1. Cliffworms, I don't know if you have found a solution, but here's my thought anyway Have you tried creating one main persistent X marker -which moves randomly- as a place where the Cleaner (let's name your NPC this ) always sweep? What I mean is you only need to create one AI package for the entire sweep activity pointing to the main persistent X marker. If you want the Cleaner to continue sweeping elsewhere, then you can move the main X marker -via script attached to the cleaner or quest- to one of the 8 sweep markers you have placed at various locations. You can set any conditions you prefer in the script to (randomize) determine the starting location and a new location for the Cleaner to continue sweeping. As for the more important things to do, you can arrange this single (sweeping) package by moving it under "important packages" at the AI package list. This way, the sweeping will only begin other important packages are not running. Using the trick above, the Cleaner should still randomly "select" one of eight sweep locations, but you only need one package instead of eight which could lead to the confusions you mentioned...(poor Cleaner, have you paid the Cleaner's deserved wage? ) In my playtesting, I discovered this not to be the case. An NPC (which I have placed in the same interior cell) with respawn flag activated, was immediately teleported to the destination location (in this case Tamriel worldspace) when it has an active travel package. This always happened after I loaded a save game in which my character happened to be in the same cell with that NPC.
  2. Interesting video. Might I ask (a bit off-topic, but still... ), how did you take the video in Oblivion and did you edit it afterwards? I'm planning to record in-game Oblivion but unsure what software to use and how is the outcome?
  3. A superb expansion mod plugin created by Lady Iliana alone. Well, technically she used many of the existing modder resources, but she did most of the jobs by herself, which is very wonderful! Elsweyr The Deserts of Anequina is, in my opinion, a breathtaking environment with great scenery. Yet, at the same time it is refreshing to see a new landscape and visit new locations on the desert. My in-game character and his companions currently spend most of their times on this Khajiit homeland. I have visited the cities, but haven't seen many of the smaller settlements or unique locations. I am still using the September updates, yet there are still more to see. Still, I intend to upgrade to November update soon. But then again, new updates seems imminent with the city of Dune and Rimmen probably included. Elsweyr is still in Beta, but it's already awesome. As one of the fastest growing and popular modification in Oblivion, I believe it deserved its own thread. Oh, and I'm surprised Elsweyr hasn't been mentioned here before
  4. "Never play without" mods plugins: AWLS COBL Faregyl Immersive Travelers Improved Hotkeys L.A.M.E Let There Be Darkness Open Cities Symphony Of Violence In addition, I also use OBSE plugins. Never play without: Oblivion Stutter Remover weOCPS (also known as Windom Earle's Oblivion Crash Prevention System) Without these OBSE plugins, Oblivion would most likely crash within minutes.
  5. I believe this plugin is finished, is it not?
  6. Any news on these...stunning project? I can certainly use you to my advantage some of those.
  7. Great news, indeed! I've hoped for the implementation of these features. All hail the mighty TES Alliance!
  8. I believe some of them already exist or is currently being made. Vector is most likely what you're looking for. The creator of this plugin roams this place. Try not to get caught by the disease... Duke Patrick is making something similar to this, I presume. Try to search for Hammerblade in Beth's Oblivion Mods forum. There already exist at least two plugins! Look for Hungry Dragon or Slaughterfish Restaurant plugin. Done.
  9. I wonder whether you are interested with the Medieval Armor Resources? I think the variety of new armors offered by it will spice up the knights of each Nine Divines.
  10. Any sneak preview...? Secret information? Insider access?
  11. Thank you very much, bg2408! Yes, indeed, animators are very rare and the knowledge about it looks more obscure. My previous online searches proved it; some available (information) are almost exclusively covered using 3DMax, whereas the majority of Oblivion modders use Blender. Nevertheless, I intend to unravel the secret of TES animation and add more variety, if I wasn't mistaken mr_siika already made some animations within one of his plugins. Perhaps I can convince him to teach and share some knowledge...
  12. You seems to know a lot more than I do.

Hmmm...perhaps I could extract some information from your brain. Now, where's that tongs?

  13. Very nice guide! However this begs several questions, some of which is unrelated to animation. I will ask the related ones here: 1. How does the game detect that a certain object is being used by right hand or left hand? Is it possible to switch the objects position? The example, as you mentioned above, is the smithing animation. Another example is animation for making potion (commonly seen in Mages Guild) 2. How does an object have the correct position when being used by NPC? One example is sweeping (cleaning) floor with a broom. How to make the NPC actually hold the broomstick instead of the bottom edge (brush) of the broom? 3. I have checked and seen many original Oblivion animations which I never realize existed. Some examples are exhaustion, injury, and guard salute. Why no NPC seemingly animate like those in appropriate situation? Or perhaps an even better question, are these animations actually being used?
  14. Is this plugin dead? Technically, since it is not a sentient being, this plugin was never alive. In all seriousness, the project is still progressing, albeit on a slower rate. If you're curious, why not take a little time to find out? Don't worry, I shall guide you on this brief journey. Let us begin the tour. Ladies and gentlemen, please have a nice seat. We are approaching Skyrim, the place where human descendants from Atmora first set foot on Tamriel. The large gatehouse in front of us is a part of the border fortification, which I shall explain later. We are still on the Imperial province here, if you seek a food or drink you might visit the tavern up over there. Travelers from both Skyrim and Imperial province often visit the place through their journey. Located right in front of the tavern is a small canopy. Let's take a closer look. From this canopy, you can relax and view the surrounding landscape. Admittedly, there is not much to see here apart from snows and trees. Nevertheless, if there's nothing much to see, then how about something to hear? I believe you've had enough rest in the tavern. Let us continue the tour. How about a little walk on top of the battlement behind the tavern? Surely you want to know the view from up there. Imperial Legion soldiers guard this place day and night. They represent the might of Empire and their constant presence is enough to keep most criminals away. You can see one of the legionnaires overlooking the roads we traveled previously. All right then, you might want to look what's inside one of those towers. Let's find out. A torch will come in handy if you enter one of these, there are lights, but might not be enough. We shall go to the upper level of the tower. Be careful, and watch your steps. We are on the upper level of the tower. The visit into this tower concludes our tour on this place. We shall travel back through The Silver Road. A familiar view near the end of Silver Road. An Ayleid ruin next to an Imperial bridge. A symbol of clash of civilization. The Ayleids once rule this province, then the Imperials rise and become the masters. Our tour ends here, ladies and gentlemen. We might be able to continue the tour around the Imperial province later. The Oblivion Crisis have brought devastation and many uncertainty. May Talos guide you!
