Okay, gotchya grond. Thanks for the pic, that helps me visually. Tell you what, this will be my first male project! I'll do it after I finish what I'm working on for female. By that time it shouldn't take me as long as this one is LMAO. Here's a pic for whoever's interested on my progress so far. Let me tell you I sweated buckets to get this far ... PHEW. May not look like much but it's getting there. A couple of hours a night plus trying to learn all the blender functions has taken up alot of my time so far. This will be leather armor. Right now I'm working on the lower part and the collar. Collar will be a bit higher in the back and lower in the front. Bottom part will look the same in the back. I'm going to try for buckles and leather straps across the chest and abdomen for added vital organ protection. But we'll see. I'll do the textures myself also. Colors I'm undecided right now. Probably browns and dark greens. Body type HGEC C cup only, med lower body. I don't do "double melons" LOL

^^ This!! These guys here are an endless support system. Truly. I posted my first post on modeling a couple of days ago and lots responded with encouragement and even some tips! I downloaded the stuff and dove in. It's scary at first and really intimidating. But a couple of hours a day and I'm working my way through it. I'm slow but I'll get there Then hopefully, if good enough I can contribute something of worth to give back for all those freebie downloads they gave me.

Hey thanks for this tip, PacificMorrowind. I think the tut I'm using to familiarize myself is from an older blender version and it was most confusing. Your tip made the lightbulb go on in my head so I did it backwards using your suggestion from what the tut said to do. Plus the fact it took me way to long to figure out what "armature" was. Why don't they just say skeleton for goodness sake! Would have saved me a large headache . Anyways, thanks again. Update: I now have female body imported WITHOUT bones hanging out everywhere AND a duplicate torso (Scaled slightly larger) to work off of. Next up is getting the male set up. So grond ... about what you asked about. I think I get what you are asking but it's been a rather long time since I've seen Star Wars. Can you find me a reference pic?

Not sure if I put this in the right place. Feel free to move or smack me or whatever if it's wrong. I'm curious if you guys think there's still a need for armor in game. I'm extremely interested in learning how to model and am going to go through the classes you have set up here in the near future. Of course will be in my spare time so I'll be slow because I haven't figured out how to make time slow down yet. Things I'd be interested in making are things I believe adventurer's would wear out and about. So no nakey stuff, no high heels, etc, etc. Just functional, nice looking armor. Leave feedback good or bad please. If no call for it any more, I'm still going to do it but I'll just do it for my game and not offer them out if I happen to make anything I think is good enough. Thanks!
