  1. You're brave donnato. Lately I've been curious about beef tongue but I wouldn't prepare it myself... I'll leave that to the pros. ;)

I wish to share a recipe that both Malachi Delacot and I love to make on occasion... and love to eat, of course.

    Moroccan Pot Roast

By Jean Pare (Company's Coming Cookbook)

    Level: Easy

    Makes 12 servings.

    Ingredients

    2 tbsp. Olive Oil

    1 tsp. Ground Cumin

    1 tsp. Ground Coriander

    1 tsp. Ground Ginger

    1 tsp. Granulated Sugar

    1 tsp. Salt

    ½ tsp. Garlic Powder

    ½ tsp. Ground Cinnamon

3 lbs. Boneless Beef cross-rib Roast

2 lbs. Red Baby Potatoes, larger ones cut in half

    1 cup Beef Broth

    1/3 cup Water

    2 tbsp. All-Purpose Flour

    Directions

Combine first 8 ingredients in a small bowl.

Rub spice mixture on roast. Place on greased wire rack set in large roasting pan.

Bake, uncovered, in 450 F (250 C) oven for about 30 minutes, turning once at halftime, until browned. Reduce heat to 350 F (175 C).

Arrange potatoes around roast in pan. Bake, covered, for another 1 to 1 ½ hours until potatoes are tender and the meat thermometer inserted into thickest part of roast reads 160 F (71 C) for medium or until desired doneness.

Remove roast to cutting board. Cover with foil. Let stand for 10 minutes.

Stir potatoes gently in pan until coated with drippings. Remove with slotted spoon to large serving bowl. Cover to keep warm.

Transfer remaining drippings to medium saucepan. Add broth. Stir. Bring to boil.

Stir water into flour in small cup until smooth. Slowly add broth mixture, stirring constantly until boiling and thickened. Strain through sieve into small serving bowl. Cut roast into thin slices.

    My notes:

I double the rub spice mix and set aside 1 tbsp in case there isn't enough drippings to add to the gravy (I like my gravy a little spicy). It never hurts to make too much spice rub than not enough. If you do this omit the oil and sugar from rub mix until you're ready to add it to the roast.

I add spice rub to roast, and let it marinade in the fridge over-night.

I also add onions and carrots with the potatoes... imo, any root veg would work.

  2. Your efforts are appreciated non the less. :)

I decided yesterday to completely remove the game, and start from scratch. It was time to do a little spring cleaning, anyway. ;)

    Thank-you again, Arion. :)

  3. Thank-you Arion for your reply.

I know very little about height map editing and it's difficult to find a decent in-depth tutorial. I do run TES4LODGen every time I remove or add a mod that affects the distant landscape, but in this case I don't think it will do much good, though I have used it a number of times since this issue.

  4. This is my first time messing around with Height Map Editing in the Construction Set. I wanted to fix an issue I was having with one of my house mods, that would only appear when you almost got to the door. It fixed the issue with my house mod but as you can see in the picture below my distant LOD is missing.

For that last couple of days I've been trying to fix this by removing then re-installing my LOD in meshes, and the Distant LOD I've generated through TES4LODGen. When that didn't work I un-installed and re-installed the game, making sure I first removed anything that could be causing my LOD to be missing.

I'm not having very much success with my methods, and would love someone to throw me a rope as to why this has happened and how to fix it. :)

    Take care,

    Carah

  5. I have never encountered anything like this. I was repairing some land tears for a compatibility patch I was making for one of my mods for Oblivion. After sewing-up the land I notice seams... I guess sewing is not my forte... heh. One side of the seam was darker then the other, and it didn't make a difference what texture I used.

As you can see in this picture. Both sides of the seam is using the same texture.

If this can't be fix I would love to hear any theories on to why this happened.

    Thank-you for your time. :)

  6. It sounds very silly but there is a method to my madness. Before I ask I need to know if this is even possible to make a tankard as a weapon.

Would someone be so kind to guide me into the right direction... tutorial wise... if any?

    Thank-you for your time,

    Carah

  7. In my player home I have weapon racks in different parts of the home. Two groups of racks mount all weapons correctly, but I have another set of racks that mount great swords, staffs, and war axes upside down.

I've done everything that I could possibly think of to fix this without any luck. :wallbash:

Has anyone else run into the same problem and was able to fix this issue, or am I flogging a dead horse because of a bug?

    Take care,

    Carah

  8. @ Hanaaisse: I took a screen shot if you need to see more:

    BootMeshShaderProp.jpg

I know it's difficult to see, but SLSF1_Skinned is there.

Sorry for the lack of info. If there is anymore shots you need to help you help me just let me know. I'm a laymen at this, so I thank-you for your patience :)

    @ _echo: Thank-you for your response :)

  9. I'm not sure if this can be done, but I gave it a shot, and this is my results. To what I can see it looks fine in Nifskope, but the boots are invisible in the CK and In-game.

    Am I attempting the impossible?
