Where about do you think the lighting was strong? I was wanting to remove a few but I wasn't sure, so just wondering if it was in the same places as you thought?

That sorted it, I should have thought of that really I usually check in the window to make sure I haven't done something stupid like that.

I have finished Class 3 and all the extra's I believe it took me a little longer because my arthritis gets in the way sometimes which make's it difficult to make little movements and I don't know where anything is in the CS yet which can be frustrating and time comsuming . I wanted curtains but couldn't find any that would work for what I wanted, Ialso noticed that one of my "decks" is a darker color than the others and I have no idea why, it has the same info yet you can clearly see its a different color, what would cause that? Please let me know if I have forgot to do anything. Here is the link to the SS.

Thank you so much it looks a lot better now and makes so much more sense. Here is the SS of it done properly. I am going to re-install Oblivion now but not with UFCOM cant face that again lol so it should take care of my missing meshes. I haven't even played yet I've just been teting to make sure there was no problems and low and behold there is, tho' I got to say I have no idea why those meshes are missing very strange . Ok I've sorted out my Games folder and I think all is well now. Here is the table as it is in the CS, here is the carrot as it should be lol and this is how the table is in the CS, I thought I would put these in also because you couldn't see the necklace very well. So hopeully I'll have no more odd stuff in the game anymore.

I'm not sure I undertand what it is you mean. I have all the mod archives I've downloaded seperate on a different HD so I always have a backup of whats installed or what I may want to try latter. but all I really want to do is to be able to make a mod in the CS without using my play data folder which has an UFCOM set up in it. From what I understand its best not to have a bunch of stuff in your #data folder because it can make the mod dependent on theise things being installed also, or am I wrong?

I was looking at your example but I still dont see how you coneect the cross in a box witheout stacking, I always end up with two on at least one of them.

how do you join them up without having them stack?

Finished Class 2 with homework and extra credit, it seems I'm having trouble with missing meshes for the wine, I've tried FormID Finder but it wont work for me and I have know idea why it should work. You can see the wine in the SS taken i the CS, I use a different Data folder for playing Oblivion. SS can be seen here just use the back button to see all of them. You can also see where I had some trouble with the plates but got it sorted, it was a bit of a suprise when I saw that in game.

A little over a year ago decided I wanted to learn how to use the CS so I can here to TES Alliance and got stuck into doing the first class. Not only was it impossible to follow but when I asked for help no one was able to figure it out either. A year later I come back to see if the class has been changed as there was talk of doing so and to my upmost delight and relief there was a whole new set of classes that were well written and easy to understand and follow. I would like to say a great big thank you to everyone who has written and contributed to the many classes here at the Alliance making it possible for people like myself who would like to learn how to start modding and using the various programes made for doing so. And for not laughing at me when I ask a stupid question of which I have many. Thank you

Just been into my house in game the one I made for Class 1 well I have a "PCCuboardClutterMiddle" in the CS but its not showing up in game, What have I done wrong? Mishaxhi told me what was wrong so tis ok now

I don't see how that would work with Wrye Bash can you have two on one computer? I think it could get very confusing .

I'm using two Data Files, just renamed the one I;m not using, I plane on doing the classes in a file with no mods in it then taking the esp out and putting it in my other data file to have a look at it in game then if I want to do anymore to it then put it back into the other data file, tho' I think I will patch it and not leav it pure vanilla.

So there is no way to mess it up at all, say like I moved the palace it would only be moved in that esp? Well in that case I'm not as worried as I was before.

I have a vanilla back up and a whole copy of my current data folder on another HD so I will have a think about it then decide what to do. Thank you for your help.

I really don't mind having two data folder its not that much work, the problem with bash is it is only profiles not really what I want for this I dont want to mess up my game by moving somthing stupid and having to reinstall again.

I had a security firm install a big security box on my house with a cable going into the garage where my electric box is, it doesn't work but it is the box they use to install working systems and it looks legit. I've never had a problems with break-ins, tho' all my neighbours have over the year. I new the guy that ran the security business and it was him that suggested it to me, It didn't cost a lot and as I said it has worked.

I want to learn how to use the CS properly so I plan on starting the classes but I also don't want to mess up my Oblivion install by well messing up, so I would like to have two Oblivion installs or maybe two Data folders, would that work? If I renamed the one I using for playing the game while I do a lesson then change it when I want to play a game, I just know I''m gonna do something silly so I would rather not have to install FCOM again if I can help it. I would also prefer to just have a vanilla set up for using the CS anyway. So my question is would that work?
