Oh, wow, Tamira!
I just today discovered this screenshot from my Humblespire mod. I'm honored! Thank you!
-
I want to hang these on my office wall in real life!
-
IS, if that thing was rendered against a background object instead of a blank page, I could have been fooled into thinking it's a photo. Sweet work! You are one of the best when it comes to texturing.
-
Very creative work. :-)
-
This. Looks. Awesome.

Knowing my luck, my character would be standing right next to the center of that thing when the lightning started.

So...I've been offline from TESA for a week, on a business trip, and I get home tonight and decide to see what's new. From the *thumbnails* in the main gallery page, I see these, and I think, "Wow...those are cool! I wonder if InsanitySorrow did them?"
Yep. IS, you're getting altogether too predictably brilliant. :-)
-
I saw the image in the main Gallery page, thought, "Oh, that looks interesting; I wonder who created it?" So I clicked on it.
Well, DUHHHH! Of course it's InsanitySorrow's work.
You and a couple of others (ya listening, Meo???) are pretty much the Majesties of Modeling around here. :-)
Great work!

The local honeybees may fly into odd places, and she may be a rather unhappy camper.

Just curious, is this a one-handed or two-handed weapon? The basket hilt seems oriented for one-handed use, but the wide quillons and overall proportions suggest it might be a hand-and-a-half or even two-handed weapon. Either way, it's "jes' right purty!"

Hi, KWITS
I notice you have some stairs going up, and apparently over the rail of the ledge. Is this by choice, or just because you didn't have access to a ledge piece with the rail removed? I ask this because I've been working on a bunch of Ayleid tiles for my own mod (Rathunas), and I could bang one out for you pretty quickly if you would want to have the railing out of your way on the ledge tile. Just send me a PM if that would help. I'd be glad to make the tile for you and then add it to my own tileset.

Wonderful! I'm so very partial to weapon models that look as if they could actually be *used* in battle.
-
Then you've come up, independently, with a design motif that is documentably historical. Good on you!
There's a particular pommel decoration from the Staffordshire Hoard that is shaped like a four-sided pyramid, that I've always wanted to model in Blender just because it's so beautiful. "Well, heck, I'll find *something* to do with it in the game!"
In any case, this is some seriously-impressive mesh and texture work. I hope you're planning to release it as a modder's resource, or at least to use it in your own mod.
-
Was this design inspired by the Staffordshire Hoard?
And...can I get one of these in real life, please?
-
These are really nice, lilith.

This looks like a great mod, with some really innovative custom weapon effects and a meaningful quest. I'm buried in modding right now but will track the file for download when I'm back to *playing* for a bit.
Thanks also for crediting incompetech.com for the music. I was needing some for my mod, and he seems to have what I'm looking for.

P.S. -- How's about a higher-resolution version of this some time?

The layout looks very medieval. Nice work.
Could Bethesda have ever realized how important those Bruma ledges would become to the modding community? Bethesda used them in one city, but there's nothing else quite like them elsewhere in the CS, and they're incredibly useful to modders.

Love the lighting design.

Tasty, tasty!

Reminds me of the feline version of this, being sold at the World Science Fiction Convention last weekend, with the caption "Fus Roh Meow!"
-
Wow....that looks more like a photograph than like a game-generated image!
-
Wow...that blade texture is just exquisite.

That's tasty work, IS.
