  1. Ah, nice to have a real Nord here at TESA! Welcome! Seeing your name is Stig, are you a really good driver by any chance? Have a but keep it away from the cookie thieves!
  2. Welcome Bozance! Good to see another member who grew up on a diet of swords and sorcery during Ultima and D&D's heyday! Here, have this cookie that somebody left lying around yesterday.
  3. I just watched it. As Steven Moffatt has done many times in the past, it has completely screwed with our minds. And yep, that final 20 seconds... It's interesting to see that they've filmed on location in America (not just sets and CG made to look American a la Daleks in Manhattan), as they've obviously realised that the show isn't a strictly British phenomenon any more, but has a worldwide following. As for the... (massive spoilers ahoy!) ... is something we probably won't know until the last episode of the season.
  4. Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone! This is a particularly significant one as it marks some major turning points in my life. Looking forward to the mid-life crisis that may or may not hit in the next few years.
  5. Hello Freedom Fighter, welcome to to TESA! Here's a cookie for you, and a few extras in case the cookie thieves are lurking around. :cookie4u: :cookie4u:

    Hi there

Hi there Fuzz! Good to see that you've made it over here from Nexus! This is the site where modders hang out in between modding sessions, so if you're looking to transfer your modding skills to Oblivion, the people here are great to talk to. As is customary for newcomers, have a cookie. (keep it away from the cookie thieves though)
  7. Completely stuck on quest 6, maybe because of modders' burnout. Gonna jump forward and do some fun stuff before coming back to quest 6.

  8. I liked the concept of Dunbarrow Cove, but at the same time I was a little disappointed as it could have been a lot more. The big empty cave doesn't have the "feel" of a rogues hideout. You'd expect the place to be cramped and crowded much like a ghetto where the underworld all decide to hang out together. You'd expect the thieves to be resourceful enough and be able to build wooden buildings within the cave itself. And since they possess skills that are normally shunned by "honest" society, they'd be eager to show it off in such a place (imagine jugglers, acrobats and sleight-of-hand "magicians" showing off their skills).
  9. Congratulations on your promotion to the olive team Lady_N!
  10. Hello Tamira! I thought you were an old timer here from the way you've been helping others. Anyway, new or not, here's a cookie. BTW, your English is better than half the people living in English-Speaking countries and roughly a million times better than my German.
  11. Hello Firelady. I thought we were supposed to be giving cookies to the newcomers, not the other way round. Anyway, welcome to TESA and as is customary, have a cookie.
  12. Thanks a million Selene! I've used your pose to create a wallpaper that mimics the original KOTN wallpaper... similar enough for players to immediately recognise the connection but different enough that they will stop and take a second look. My computer now has a new wallpaper.
  13. Wow! That looks amazing! A slight tweaking of the body angle and it will be perfect but I'm already very, very happy with it as-is. I don't think we've met here on TESA before, but thanks so much for coming to the rescue Selene!
  14. Hey, welcome Striker! Good to see you here! Anyone who mods, beta tests or is interested in watching what modders do will find a big like-minded community here. House mods are the easiest way to learn the CS and any experience you have with programming will help a lot with scripting. Anyway, have a cookie , but watch out for those cookie thieves.

    Butterflies!

    As usual, exquisite work.
  16. Tamira suggested that I use the "holding torch" pose and mirror the image. It was quite similar, but it looked a little too relaxed. Searching around, I found that one frame of the drinkmugidle and drinkbottleidle animations match almost perfectly provided I can get the mug/bottle removed. Knowing nothing about animations and .kf files, I'm not sure where to begin to get this frame out. So, I pose these questions: How do I freeze it in one particular frame? How do I remove the mug/bottle?
  17. Sick of castles. Now back to scripting.

  18. Yes, I was planning an in-game screenshot.
  19. Hmmm... it looks like a different pose. The upperbody is very similar but the sword should be closer to the body and the head should be tilted slightly downwards. The character should be standing instead of kneeling. Thanks for checking it out though.
  20. Is anyone aware of a pose mod that has the pose used by the Divine Crusader in the KOTN poster? It's the one where he's holding the sword upright in front of him, left hand by his side. I've checked several pose mods but haven't been able to find it. If the pose doesn't exist, can I make a request for a kind person to make this pose for me? 'll be needing it for the promotional image for KOTN:R. Edit: added image.
  21. Welcome to TESA and congrats on you transition from real world building to virtual world building! Have a cookie but keep it hidden from the cookie monster.
  22. Hello TardisChan! Based on your avatar and nickname, I'd say you're in some good company with many Doctor Who fans here. Yes, don't eat the Nirnroot - eat a cookie instead.
  23. Try opening it in NifSkope and pulling and stretching the UV map so that the different parts tile together nicely. I've managed to to stitch together different pieces seamlessly that way. Edit: If you want, you can send me the nif and I'll give it shot.
