So there is no mirror function in any 3D modeling programm? :/
-
I mean the outside. The inside would be easy^^
EDIT:
How it is:How I would need it:
-
Following question: I would need to mirror the breezehome mesh so that the room in the back is on the right side, not the left side. Can I do that or better, can someone do that for me?
-
Here you have a ressource pack for that.

So, making my new Worldspace I run into a problem I know nothing about. While placing lights around my worldspace, I noticed that they dont have any effect on the landscape. The whole landscape just stays dark.
Any idea why? LOD is generated, but did I miss anything?
EDIT: This is how it looks in game
EDIT: I checked "dont light landscape"..... I am an idiot and thanks to Elianora for telling me^^ Can be deleted, sorry.

Well, this seems to be a very interesting and ambitious project. Remembers me a lot of Andoran. But please, dont make all the enemies harder then the once you find in Skyrim. Because that breaks the immersion of the game. Would everything there be stronger then in Skyrim? Doesnt make sense. Work on the same level of difficulty.
And speaking about the islands, make sure they dont look empty. There are enough empty looking worldspaces out there.
I am not going to apply for any role here, but I would like to know if it is possible to get my hands on the Spriggan Patriarch!

Lets follow this theard^^
Looks good so far

Okay, I didnt see mALx post (didnt had notifications on for the thread back when he wrote it I think) and okay.
Havent really tested anything out since I still working on my fort. But once I am done with it, I will AND let you know what works best.

It takes a certain object in the cell/worldspace and then use this object (reference) to make the grid for all other item/objects/etc you drag into the cell, worldspace.
-
Well Hana, thanks for using that whip on me! I managed to make the LOD myself perfectly
-
Ahm yes and no. I did it quite a few times but always mess up somewhere and it never turns out the way it should and I am in some kind of love/hate relations ship with LOD.
Just think it would be better if some who actually has done it often already and knows how it works do it.
But thanks for the tutorial, I will go through it.

Short and simple, my project is now in the stage where the worldpspace is nearly done and I would need someone to make the LOD for me ^^
Thats all! If you can help me, please tell me
-
Yeah, listen to me. You are about to make the first big mistake you can do: You are losing youself in ideas over ideas! Focus on what you need and want to do right now, which is making the ideas you already have happening, then, after you are done with the basic orc stronghold, then and only then, you should think about adding features like that.
It is very easy to lose yourself in ideas and then never really get anything done
EDIT: My English has seen better days :/

I may not have the skills needed to help you they way you ask for here, but I may can tell you that asking some of the people who work on Beyond Skyrim could be a good idea! I am not up to date on the progress of Wrothgarian and Dragonteil (both is in High Rock, if I remember it right) or of they even work on it, but if they do maybe someone has already created a few meshes you could use!
Just ask around
-
You can move them, delete them, disable them (at least I think you can, like TES5Edit does, I think) and add new once. I do however not think you can enable/disable them like objects. I never tried to. That would be interesting.
-
Feel free to!
But leave the elk alone^^He probably just needs friends!
-
Yep, a lot of people do here The real question is, what do you want? Best make a new thread and state what you need exactly and maybe some can help you
If it helps, here is something orcish I know, just in case you need it!

In fact, scripting is the easy part ^^ Well, once you got the basics.

Hey and a warm welcome to our family!
First, don't worry! We all started small and if we are honestly, everyone is still a noob in some area of modding. If it is modelling, scripting, design, textures, quest, or whatever. No one is perfect
You should have seen my first work, it was just bad!
So, have a cookie and if you need any help, as @donnato already said, good place to start is the enclave or Youtube!
I hope you have a good time here!

Hello and welcome to our family!
Always good to see people starting modding! But let me warn you, its more addictive then playing games. I have reached my 600h´s in Creation Kit just yesterday, so better bring a lot of time
Now to your idea: A build your own stronghold is a nice idea. Myself, I work on a Hearthfire styled fort with player home, in short, a build your own fort mod. Believe me when I tell you, its a lot more work then you think, hell, even I didn't believe how much work it is (but I love working on it). And transforming is even more work and also a good way to get bugs. So if you really want todo that, let me give you the following tips:
- Write down what you want to do! On a piece of paper or a words document, doesn't matter! Just keep track of what you do and split things in tasks. With scripting and all the build able stuff, it can get quite over overwhelming. Which brings me to...
- Name your items, objects, references, etc in CK in a certain way or system so you find stuff easy! I have about 25 build able objects so far, with a construction recipe for each one. And I only have the basic stuff so far! Also, I haven't even started the player home! So that will be at least 10 new for the outside plus I don't know how many for the inside! So keep track of what you make!
- Save often and test it in game! Whenever I am done with a new building, script, etc I save it, clean out any new bugs I can find (use TES5Edit) and test it. If it works, I save it in a backup folder and then start working on the next part. If it doesn't work, I fix it and don't work on something else until then!
- Think of the NevMeshes! Don't save them for the end or you will have a bad time "fixing" them.
These are probably the most important things to consider! At least in my eyes
Also sorry for my bad English, I haven't slept since at least 20h and yeah^^

in Study Hall
Posted
Well, the front wouldnt matter since it will be just moved into the other normal mesh.
