    More info from the NerdTrek - previously you were done with an area of play once you become a Guildmaster, but in Skyrim you will be able to continue with specific guild gameplay after becoming the head of a guild. - you start off only able to summon ONE. Eventually you WILL be able summon up to TWO Atronachs or Reanimated Zombies though. - you will be able to explore and interact with an underwater environment. There are “fish and stuff†you can find. There are ingredients to collect and although the underwater section is a small part of the game, you can knock your self out exploring if you like. - pickpocketing is serious business this time around - smithing: you can create and improve every armor in the game - soundtrack? cross your fingers! - Why did they remove spell-making? Because… The team worked really hard on creating unique spells. The magic system has been completely revamped and MUCH improved. They want us to focus on our immersion into the world of Skyrim. Matt is confident that you will have a great time using magic in this game. - There are hundreds of people that you CAN marry, if they want to marry you. - no bananas... so sad.

    Thats kind of annoying. We all know the hardcore fans are on PC, yet the console players are getting the exclusivity, and its not a few days, its a whole month. Feels like a betrayal. I understand the market is bigger on consoles and that those kiddies with their joysticks need to feel special and all, but without the PC community, Oblivion would've lasted 2 years and the Skyrim hype would be less than half of what it is. We're the ones keeping the game alive for years until the next chapter, and yet, all of a sudden, we are not the customers that matters the most anymore. It hurts a little. Question. Will there be content exclusive to PC to try to bring console players to our side? I have serious doubts about that, and the Creative Kit doesnt count.

    Time to renovate those castles of yours, or build new ones, or make small fortified outposts, or build a high tower for that annoying princess, or whatever cross your minds. New walls, single or double sided. Stackable towers. Huge selection of roofing options. Bridges. Portcullises, Flags, Windows, Wells and a bunch of other decorations. Imagine it, build it. Alpha release note: No LOD models, no walkways, and there might be a few visual oddities here and there. If you find any, please PM me with the details. Corner columns use new textures, so if you use a texture replacer for the castle tileset, you might want to avoid using those nifs. Installation: Extract to your oblivion\data directory and add in the Construction Set as statics (as doors or activators for the animated nifs). For the portcullises, use the dsr_mordorgates sounds. This is an exclusive ALPHA release for TES Alliance, only for you, to play and practice with, you are NOT to include this in any release or i'll will hunt you down and make a tuque out of your scalp. Keep the directory structure intact as always. Enjoy, Meo.

    What would be great is your character gets dirty over time and you have to take baths to return to clean looks. Thats what i would call immersion. Great minds...

    Apparently, when creating your character, theres a tab/option to make it dirty, even choose the color of dirt.

    Ive hated Steam from day 1. From a marketing point of vue, its great, you can reach everyone everywhere. From the players perspective, its like always having a supervisor checking over you. If i dont want to use the latest update, its my choice, not steam. What about patch made by the community, will steam be offended and not allow you to start your game. If i use TGM to test a mod of mine, will steam label me a cheater? Its all about control and its pissing me off cause TES is all about freedom. I bet this lady is on my side...
