  1. The nav mesh needs to cover the door, otherwise, or at least the door marker needs to be put over the nav mesh. Keep that in mind.
  2. From the album: Echonite's Cookies

    Private use only, sorry.
  3. Why not just ask here or the BSF?
  4. I am? since when? I must stop this before it spreads...
  5. BTW, nice QR code. long list o anime.
  6. It is still advised to cut program demand before bumping priority. I'm going to pretend that wasn't there at the time of reading.
  7. I advise against this unless your computer is really having trouble running the game due to system bottle necking. Lowering graphics settings is advised before doing this. Setting a process as high priority, you are effectivly telling the computer "This program is more important, give it more of the CPU time then other programs." and for that reason, it can cause other programs to be pushed to the backburner causing some instability and possibly system crashing. A small chance, but its there. It is far safer to reduce the programs demand before you bump up its priority. Also, your file path is going to be different from person to person. the vast majority of them will be under the steam directory unless you know how to create a system link. My install directory is "K:\skyrim"

    Argonian Retexture WIP

Texture looks good, but we need to see it in game so the normal maps can be accounted for. Personally, I thnk the argonians already look fantastic, so its a matter what yours looks like in game as well.
  10. LOL DsoS. How was your 260 only rated for 6.6 when mine is rated at 7.2? My primary drive (An SSD) is my lowest at 7.1
  11. Model looks good, but textures are too matted looking.
  12. The first 2 videos are actually much longer compalations of strange sounds. I just linked to the ones I found that seems to be the same sound in different places.
  13. Browsing the internet, I came across several mentions of "strange sounds" and "Earth Groaning". This peaked my interest given this is the year of 2012. So here are my findings. @ 0:30 of this video, note the loud sound. - @ ~1:58 of this video, also note the sound. - Link Then finally, this video. Its very faint, but it you listen carefully, you can hear it. - All these sounds seem to be the same thing. Ive read they could be anything from legitimate unknown sounds to rumored viral marketing attempt, to a flat out hoax of some kind. But for them to be a hoax, then how do you explain wide range of locations of the videos? And I can't imagine such loud, unknown sounds being allowed for marketing reasons as it could cause civil unrest of people trying to figure out whats going on. Im interested to know what you all think of this and what you may have heard on the topic.
  14. Or you could go for an inbetween size. Why make more work for yourself? But meh, thats your choice. Personally, if it looks good as is, why bother with a second?
  15. Im seeing little to no real difference between the models. So I cant imagine body weight being an issue unless you are making a specific body weight armor.
  16. Could you provide an example light and heavy weight armor? I cant find any.

    The Reveal

I didnt even know it did this.
  18. Exactly. It would have a chain reaction effect. If people are making money off my assets, then I want a cut of the profit. Payed assets are not generally a popular thing, so we sould risk losing a useful avenue of creation. This is another big one. If you have ever been to the NifSkope site, you may have noticed their little banner stating an estimated effective $4.5million development cost. And they did it for free. If mods went payed, so would they. And they have arguably one of the most important tools in modding. Lets not forget to mention that this was 10,000 FREE downloads. If they they had a cost for the mods, you probably would only have seen maybe 5000 downloads at best. Indeed. I would be very reluctant to assist someone because my time would not be repaid. Currently, my time is repaid with knowing I can get assistance with my problems. I wouldnt say I would stop modding, but I would not upload anything and keep things for myself.
