The Windows XXX Anti-Virus is a well known malware, as they have a new version every year. As for running unknown exes, one would hope this was common sense, but alas... Im not worried about much of anything. If anything bad does manage to get on my system, I vamp the whole thing and start over.

Because its always been in poor taste to charge money for mods. Donations are completely different. So it's not "Why don't I pay $1.", its "I have to pay $1." Modding isn't a 9-5 job, nor should it be. If you want to make money making game content, then become a game developer. People making programs for the iphone and such and charging 99 cents for it are doing it in part for the money. They are developers, that is their job.

Probably the speed of the data bus. Basiucally everything connects to the north bridge, so every wire leading to and from there is its own bus. It can get very complicated and is rather unimportant to the vast majority of users.

I cant say for sure, as ive really ever only looked at the storage space on platter drives, but I would assume its the same concept as network. The average time it takes from your command to reach the drive. Personally, most of these seem silly. Alternatives to the thieves guild and mages guild are already present, so those are taken care of. The main quest is meant to be railroaded. It is the figurehead of the whole game, and the one thing Bethesda can actually justify forcing you to do things their way. They are establishing the lore of what happens in the time period. As for the rest, I'm not sure if you are arguing quest log tidiness or actual railroading. Just because you are given the quest does not mean you are forced to do it. Just ignore the quest. Plus it seems like you want an exit option at every step of the quest lines. Like suddenly you had a change of heart when you are on the last quest of the dark brotherhood after having murdered 10+ people.

Thats because Blender and nifskope are able to deal with all nif file versions (except skyrim as of yet). The fact is, fallout and oblivion are very different in their engines, dispite Fallout being based on the engine Oblivion used. There are many differences that need to be factored when tryiong to convert something from one game to the other... which is illegal, I might add.

Just wanted to let everyone know of the latest scam going around. Some of you may already know about this, but for those that don't... You may get a call from someone claiming to be part of a tech support company. They will have a heavy Indian accent. They will inform you that they have been getting notices that your computer is infected with a virus/viruses and has also been transmitting the viruses around the internet. Eventually they will direct you to the website www.ammyy.com to download some remote desktop software so they can "have a technician show you the viruses and clean them up". I need not say what they really are doing. A bonus kicker, my dad was talking to them and he asked how he knew this wasn't a virus, and they said "That's impossible, this is the mother computer" referring to a supposed central computer that controls the internet. Anyhoo, just thought I would let you all know what is up on the internets. They have called twice already. Im hoping for a 3rd so I can mess with them some more.

call off the hunt, I found the problem. One of my SSDs, with the OS, crapped out.

So I got all my new computer parts and put them all together in their new case, and everything has been working just fine, until last night that is. I came home and turned on my computer, and i find it hangs on the post process. I get a post code of 3 beeps followed by a 4th higher pitched beep. On screen is only the flashing cursor up in the top left, and the code "A2" in the bottom right. If I let it hang there for a bit it will move on and I guess finish post, show the motherboard logo, then go to a black screen with just the flashing cursor. Nothing happens after this point. The strange thing is the computer was running flawlessly just earlier in the day. I cant find anything on what this beep code means. I cant find anything on what My BIOS is aside from "ClickBIOS". My motherboard is a P67A-G43 B3. Any help would be fantastic.

I thought the same thing. The world is dense. Ive not seen half of the locations and i still feel like ive done more quests to last me 2 times over. So space within the game world will be at a premium. Personally, I hope to see new lands, be them additions to the main world in morrowind, cyrodiil, high rock or hammerfell, or entirely new landmasses. On a smaller scale though, I do think there is room for many other additions like house mods and things of that nature.

The Japanese community tends to be very secluded and rarely if ever release their things in the public eye. And I can't link to any of their sites because they are filled with many mods/images not appropriate for TESA. Things like the Crysis armor have typically been game ports, which is illegal.

1. I edited your post to replace all the incorrectly used "k"s to "c"s. If it was once, i can overlook it as a typo, but the whole post had them and it annoyed the hell out of me. 2. We can't start any real modding production until the editor is released. 3. Don't expect custom animations for quite a while. No modeling program supports exporting to Skyrim yet, let alone anything as complex as animations. 4. If you want those custom armors, you must either do them yourself or wait and hope someone makes them, though its unlikely to be soon if at all. Your best bet will be the Japanese modding community, though they don't get the game till December 8th. Your #6 will probably never, legally, happen. Any further discussion of it and I will lock this thread. Just an FYI.

I dont really ever plan on overclocking. Ive tried it once and it was confusing and was just overall meh about the whole thing. I figure if I ever come to a point where I need to overclock, its time for a new processor. As for the RAM. I can found 16GB for only ~$5 more, so its like, why not? I know very well that is never going to be necessary.

I was thinking if switching over to an MSI motherboard and maybe up to 16GB of ram since is double the amount for like $25 more.
