  1. Description

We, the modders of Epoch Sanctum, are proud to officially announce Evermore, an epic 6 questline Skyrim mod with multiple factions and endings based on Player choice. As you travel throughout High Rock grim, you delve deep into a shifting chain of multi-faceted quests and adventures that explores three different aspects/ interpretations of the Shifting Plague; a deadly and otherworldly epidemic that threatens to tear High Rock asunder. In this, you will be expected to balance morals against the fate of the world, and explore such diverse, philosophical and free-thinking concepts such as the knife-edge between fantasy and reality, as well as the relationship and illusion of autonomy and free will between the creator and the created.

As our ultimate set upon the Theater of Fate, we seek to create the entirety of High Rock in this project, as well as a custom-voiced follower, Lauren, who is intrinsically tied into all six main questlines, includes well over a thousand lines of dialogue, and speaks for the People of Evermore.

In addition, Evermore shall serve as a base to tie in all of our respective follower mods in A House Divided, a centric hub/ base that combines unique elements that reflects each companion in the physical structure of the house itself, and focuses on the various dynamics between their strong personalities, with multiple quests and scenes. At last count, Aurlyn Dawnstone, Serenity, Virelda, Marcelon, Morgwyn, Clara, Xanthys, Dante, Isi and Lucius are included in this expansion for Evermore.

  2. Figured I might as well post this up, since I've seen a bunch of threads on this matter in the new CK section of the Skyrim Nexus. These two tutorials are invaluable, and contains just about everything you need to know to get a custom-voiced companion into the game. The third link goes to the Voice Actors of Skyrim thread, which is also very helpful in finding appropriate VAs for your project. Here, take a look:

Oh, and if you ever need a framework/ inspiration to write quests/ dialogue for your Skyrim mods, then this link contains everything I've written for my Skyrim projects thus far. Feel free to take a look:

  3. Well, I'm looking for a new file host, and this place seems quite nice. Independent, and fast, with no bigger Skyrim projects to overshadow all others. I wonder, how reliable are the downloads and uploads here? Even bigger sites like Google Drive and One Drive like to corrupt downloads halfway on me. Also, how long is this site likely to be up, and what security measures are in place to counter ad-based virus attacks and redirects?

While I'm at it, how does this place make revenue, if any?

Sorry if I'm being inquisitive, but I got burned by the Nexus, Mediafire and Google Drive, so I'm a bit more wary now. Some clarification would be most appreciated!

  4. Bethesda is destroying the modding community with their joke of a platform, and their willful negligence of Modder's rights and concerns everywhere. After about a week, they have done nothing to address the issue of thefts on their platform, save for a DMCA policy that requires us to file complex legal documents every time our work is stolen! This situation is obviously not enough, and they have decided to spurn, and blatantly disrespect and disregard all modders with such statements such as calling us "hackers", and dehumanizing us with such tactics as segregating their respective platforms for the PC/ XBox1/ PS4, refusing to show modder's names on the downloads page at betheftda.aids, and ignoring (even encouraging, with their segregated platforms) the active culture of piracy on their site.

Now, you would think they've done enough damage to the modding community already, but no! They've taken things a step further in the throes of endless greed, and decided to make a quick cash-grab with their highly destructive and invasive "re-master" of Skyrim! I have every confidence that the upcoming "re-master" will not only break the millions of mods for Skyrim already out there, but it will offer no new features of worth whatsoever (such as a new story/ main questline, or a 64 bit exe), but instead, will use this as an excuse to open the floodgates to the console crowd, and throw the toxicity of paid modding on top of that! They plan to announce this at the E3 convention on Saturday, and when this is officially confirmed, I'm done with modding and the Nexus forever.

All of my mod pages will be nuked, and all of my future projects will not be published (even team efforts; I'll make things clear from the start.) I will still leave my website up though, and stay in touch with my friends from the Nexus. I find it very sad that it had to come to this, but I want to leave before the storm of the century hits. Things will get worse, I'm sure, when bethaidsda.FYouHackers start taking down sites like the Nexus to stifle out competition, and keep modding under their boot of tyranny and oppression. I won't be there to fight them on this, although I would dearly love to, but I'm sick and tired of all the drama and pure exploitation of the modding community.

Now then, what can you do to fight Bethesda in my stead? Make your voice heard! Boycott them! Flood them with complaints! Stop buying their games, stop uploading your mods to Bethesda.net, stop being silent and post exactly what you think of their wanton destruction on their "official" site! Share the experiences of modders like me who had to go through hell on earth, thanks to Bethaidsda, and are taking down their mods in droves, or retiring from modding altogether. Step up, and become a new generation of free modders, unbound by any but our own hearts and minds; driven onward by mutual respect! Don't let our sacrifice be in vain! As long as the free spirit of a true modding community remains, then we shall never truly die. Long live free modders everywhere!

  5. Aurlyn Dawnstone, the custom-voiced Aldmer Dawn Sorceress companion has now been updated to version 3.0, which includes her long-awaited personal quest, Darkest Awakening, as well as a multitude of stories from her adventures in exotic realms. Feel free to try her out; a link to the mod can be found below. Thanks!

  6. I'll try! Thanks! I'll send a PM to GStaff shortly.

Also, all links have now been disabled, thanks to a certain toxic post over on the Reddit SkyrimMods, even after I showed extreme objectivity by posting a copy of my mod link compendium there. I apologize to the users, and I sincerely hope that Aurlyn will be publicly available shortly.

  7. For those who wish to download Aurlyn Dawnstone even after I've hidden the mod page in protest of Mod Picker; you can find all of the relevant information below. All links here are current, unless otherwise stated. Description and credits located in the Aurlyn ReadMe odt file, found in the Aurlyn Info folder, in the Main File. Thanks!

  8. Based on this post from TerrorFox1234,

    Quote

    Hi everyone,

We have written two documents responding to legal and ethical concerns, as well as our opt-out policy.

    Regarding Opt-Out

    Legal Status and Concerns

In regards to speculation about our moderation abilities and the idea that Mod Picker promotes anti-author behavior:

    - Our terms of service and community guidelines will expressly forbid users from any outward or obvious anti-author behavior.
    - Our moderation team will enforce strict guidelines which will not allow such behavior.
    - Speculation about our ability to achieve these goals serves no purpose. You can make statements supported by evidence about our ability to create a community to your liking once our platform has launched.

    Sincerely,
    The Mod Picker Team

it appears that the Mod Picker team blatantly disrespects and disregards the rights of all Mod Authors, and the only way to protect our content from being scraped, then added to their site against our explicit wishes is to hide all of our mods here, on the Nexus. I've already done the same. Who's with me?

  9. I am in dire need of a competent Level Designer to construct Colundurans, a Dwemer City/ Archive in the far north that houses the shade of Kagrenac, the last Great Tonal Architect. Let me know if you're interested, I shall respond in a timely manner.

  10. VortexofTimeWhiteStroke_zps1ef261f2.png

When darkness rules the day, and the three stand as one.

When Man and Mer face the might of the Eastern Star.

When the fool triumphs over the serpent, and balance is restored.

When the White City drowns under a tempest of raging waves.

When the fires of old roam the skies and shake the earth.

The knowledge of the Sundered Ones is unleashed, and the Threads of Fate lies upon the Last Temporal Traveler.

    Vortex of Time Description

After being devastated by the Great Collapse, Winterhold is little more than a skeleton of its former self. The College still stands, yet its inhabitants are widely shunned and hated throughout Skyrim. Though the cause is unknown, this decisive event changed the future of Winterhold, Skyrim and the College. Many speculate the eruption of the Red Mountain was to blame, but there are some who suspect the real reason is far more sinister and deadly.

Savos Aren, Arch-Mage of the College of Winterhold did his best to calm down the Jarls following the Great Collapse, yet reason holds no sway over these hot-headed Nords. Perhaps the truth will never be known...

Until now. Join the Mages of Winterhold as they scramble to unravel the mystery of the Great Collapse, and face off against a deadly order of Temporal Travelers. Journey into the depths of an ancient Necropolis, defend Skyrim from the Dreamwalkers' onslaught, discover the secrets of Ancient Mastery, and travel back in time, to the summit of Vvardenfell, where it all began. Engage in an epic battle to restore history, and put an end to the Dreamwalkers' chaotic meddling once and for all!

Elder Scrolls... Powerful and sentient relics that predate Nirn, Aetherius and even Oblivion. They dictate the threads of time, fate and destiny. As such, they are powerful portents of what is to come, and what never was. Some use the Scrolls for prophecy, others use them to seek forbidden knowledge. However, a select few use them to ride the Currents of Time, repairing past mistakes and preventing future catastrophes.

Even fewer abuse the All-Sight granted by the Elder Scrolls. The Dreamwalkers are one such group, led by a shadowy master that seeks to drown Winterhold, and the rest of Tamriel under a tempest of raging waves. Their order has caused untold damage on history, and sought to master the power of the elements, as only the Dwemer could. But light can be found in the darkest places. One of their order, Zurin Arctus, foresaw what was to come in a glimpse of eternity. Nirn, stripped of Man and Mer, a planet where no life grows and all is barren rock.

Horrified, Arctus cast the Scroll away and took matters into his own hands. He attempted to warn the College of a coming apocalypse, yet lost his sanity in the Mists of Time. However, all was not lost. He saw in the Scroll a vision of a Hero who would save Winterhold, and undo centuries of chaos. Can you take the mantle of the Hero of Prophecy, and save Time and Destiny from destruction?

Welcome to Vortex of Time, an innovative Skyrim mod that rewrites the College of Winterhold questline. It features a brilliantly written plot, revoiced College Members (Tolfdir, Faralda and Savos Aren) that are fully integrated into Skyrim, and become available as followers and marriage candidates, four massive dungeons with unique elements and design, and fully changes and overhauls Winterhold to the glory it could have become.

This definitive mod explores one simple question: What if the Great Collapse could be prevented?

    Vvardenfell Expansion Description

When the meteor Baar Dau crushed Vivec City so long ago, it triggered the eruption of the Red Mountain and razed the island of Vvardenfell. Little remains of the proud heartland of the Dunmer, save for Ald Velothi. A safe haven among a nation of strife, this tiny outpost houses the Dunmer Refugees who survived the Red Year, and chose to remain on Vvardenfell.
