EDIT: Well I did manage to make it work but no matter what I try the custom voice overs will not work I have tried .wav, .xma, and .fuz but will not work. His mouth will move like he is saying something and the subtitles will show but no sound. Any ideas?
I have one of my NPCs working fine with sound and all but don't know what the problem is here....

I am trying to make my NPCs say random lines of text when ever you press [E] on them. Like with some they will say basic things like Hello or Need something. Anyone know how to do this or where to put the dialogue?

Any help would be awesome. I am going to upload what I have got done so far to a server and will PM you a link so you can get the most up to date version thus far and we can get together via PMs and different things. I think I have gotten most of the NPCs to have a daily routine but not 100% sure on this as I haven't been getting any real feedback and have been trying to test on my own. Will get with you on different ideas I have for quests as well and you can see what you may be able to do. Most are basic go collect some ingredients and bring back to an NPC for an item, and some other things. I am more of an architect then I am a scripter and such, but will get intouch with you via PM asap.

Well Yes and no. I need to adjust the package some he will draw his bow and just stand there. I may have messed up somewhere =) I have put the building of the castle on hold for a bit and been doing some play through and testing on my own cause have been getting little to no feedback on Nexus. this is why I am posting it to other mod site in hopes of more feedback so I can release the first non beta. My biggest problem area at the moment is quest. I have ideas but i am very much a newbie when it comes to scripting them. I have huge plans for the castle just have a few draw backs due to my limited knowledge.
EDIT: Figured it out. It might help if I gave him a bunch of arrows lol Worked prefectly after that =)

Anyone know how to make NPCs actually shot arrows at archery targets and slash away at the dummies? I have seen them do it in the vanilla game and want to add this to me castle mode but can't quite figure it out. Anyone know?

I have tried all this and it just will NOT place a collision panel or box. Just will not do it. Even bookshelves that i had made long ago in another mod that had collision markers around it, the markers have just disappeared. Show that they are there in the Cell view but hiding markers and showing them again still nothing. It's driving me nuts................. I am currently fully uninstalling and reinstalling Ck will update.
Edit: Ok that didnt work either, BUT I found a collision marking in one of my rooms that still showed and was able to copy and paste it where I needed and use gizmo to shape it so I guess this will have to do for now....

As you can hopefully see in the video that, with the wall selected and I click the [c] button nothing happens. Plus I can not select anything else untill I "unclick" the [c] button again.

I am trying to place collision markers in my castle mod I am building, but when I go to create a collision plane, nothing happens. It makes it so that I can't select any object in the render window or anything in any other window. To be able to do that I have to click the [C] button again. The [C] button looks like it has been pushed in when I've clicked it, and I do have markers toggled visible. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

can anyone tell me how to script a quest to start up only after another quest is completed first like after you defeat alduin. I am making a castle mod and will have the courier deliever you a note that starts the quest but I only want him to do it after the main quest is completed

Anyone know how to make an interactive Dragon NPC? I want to add a dragon to my mod that the player can talk to and listen to storys from the dragon. I tried doing it like you would a normal NPC but couldnt talk to him

thx Dark it was an issue with collision I moved the table and merchants up some and placed the merchants a lil further back from table and looks good ingame

no what it was I just draging, like say the trophy bases from battlehorn, to my mod from the objects to the render window. I would save and load up in game and all the trophy bases would be gone. Then i thought of something I learned in CS Basics and renamed the trophy bases and created a new form and placed them and the stayed.

i am adding the trophy bases from battlehorn in my castle mod but everytime i save and try to test ingame all of the are gone and when i reload the mod in CS agai they are gone as well. I would readd them and save but again it would do it. What do I do?

I am working on my castle idea and want to add somw guards and I am trying to think of what AI packages I should add to them. I figure your basic eat, sleep, and maybe wander, but what else? Also how would I go able making it so that you can get the guards to start and stop following you?
