Okay so.... grass kicked my behind.  I think I at one time configured my .ini to not render grass in the game at all, which is fine for personal use but how do I make sure it's permanently gone in a published mod?  I changed all the cell textures (LPineForest02NoGrass) but the grass when turned on still appears in the CK.  Is there a way to remove it or is this a bug within the CK? Should I try a different texture?  I tried LDirt01 also and had the same problem. Thank you!

  2. Me again :) FYI - I use Chesko's Wearable Lanterns mod.  It will look brighter in the pics than it actually is.  I'm not a complete noob but I decided to start the Skyrim series from the beginning to see what I've missed as there's still several things I don't know how to do properly.

I didn't see the "on the platform" when I read the instruction about creating a cozy place for a horse, so I had gone ahead and built a separate stable.  Since I'd made some mistakes in the terrain editing anyway I decided to just go with that.  So maybe not a hundred per cent correct, but I think it works....I can redo this lesson if I need to.

  4. Thank you Hanaisse! Posted lesson 2 work.  I think the house should feel a little less empty on that one side now.  Hope it's ok that I changed some of the tapestries and decor.  I've done some modding for Skyrim so I'm not a complete novice but I've never used the CS before.

  5. Hi everyone I am fairly new to modding.  I am getting a reasonably decent grasp of the CK but there's still stuff I don't know.

     

    I'm trying to put a custom carriage at the player home I'm creating.  The dialogue works and I can climb into the back but then I just sit there.  How do I trigger the teleport?

    hi everyone I have also posted in Nexus Forums and Reddit so my apologies if anyone is seeing this multiple times, but I'm really hoping someone can help with this.

     

    Basically I want to create a simple summon spell that summons a sheep (for a friend, it's a private joke), but I'm having issues with it.  I'm not sure what I might be missing.

     

    I followed the steps in this video:

     

    Using the basic sheep in this mod for the actor NPC:  http://www.nexusmods...rim/mods/33273/

     

    In the CK I couldn't preview anything, and in the game the summon spell only summoned a goat, without the sheep "armor."

     

    I also tried creating a sheep race, using a duplicated goat and adding the sheep armor as skin. In the game the spell became invisible but summoned something with a goat voice (so that much worked).

     

    I was able to preview the armor before so I know the mod works, I was wondering if there is anything I can try to make this spell work.
