I'm going to check out the size of the case when it gets here, see if I can get a bigger mobo.
-
I wonder if I changed the mobo after changing the case then =/ Well, I think I got it from amazon, so I should be able to return it...
Thanks for letting me know!

I wanted to post a couple pics =)
One of the first pictures we have of Hallie - this was the day that she discovered that even though she doesn't like dirt or water, if you mix the two they're AWESOME.
My all time favorite image of Hallie. She's usually terrified of cameras, hence the hiding under the bed. This was the first shot I took with my DSLR.
Mr Aysling makes an appearance. Hallie had a hard day of stressing out about us moving boxes.
Our first picture of Ty, taken right after I picked him up from the pound. One of my fav Ty pics.
This was taken a couple days after we got him. He's 5 weeks, and 8 lbs.
He's 7 weeks here. Hasn't gotten the hang of car rides yet.
Hallie and Ty the first day we had him.
Ty and Hallie when he's a couple months older.
He's about 6 months here, I think.
Ty is a year old here, Hallie is 3 or 4.

I'm used to laptops, and I'm not crazy about switching to a desktop, so I was trying to keep it as small as possible - that'll make it easier to travel with. I was eventually planning on adding a second GPU though. Sound quality isn't a huge concern for me, I've always been fine with onboard =) On pcpartpicker I built the base system (what you see here) and the 'I can't wait for Christmas' version with more ram, a second GPU, and a third hard drive. Everything should work OK with the mobo (according to PPP), but they didn't have the case in their parts list.
Do you think it'll be an issue with the upgrades?
-
I'm pretty excited about the CPU and GFX card, as they're both significant upgrades over what I have now - a i7-3740 @2.7GHz and a GTX 670MX,

Ok, I was actually wondering about how close it needed to be for the NPCs to use the furniture? Also, is there any issue with some of the triangles overlapping? Thanks =)

Here's my homework and extra credit:

Wow, NICE floor and columns. You've got some awesome stuff =) Is this your final project?
I've got a couple textures I'm wanting to try out, and I've started some of the modeling projects. Just finished an (untextured) staircase, possibly for the entrance.
If that chandelier model is available, I'd love to be able to use it with a few tweaks =) If not, don't worry about it. I don't want to use anything without permission.
-
Screenshots up =)
BTW I'm hoping to make any new meshes/textures a modder's resource.

Just finished the first level of my player house, and I'm pretty excited about it =) It's got a few issues, but I wanted to get some feedback/critiques of the parts that have been completed.

Description:
Sweetwater manor is a complete player home, offering a number of features. I'm trying to keep it as lore-friendly as possible, if you notice an issue, let me know!
Currently Implemented:
First Floor:
- Floorplan
- Basic Architecture
Work in Progress:
- Second Floor (have floorplan)
- Master Suite (have floorplan)
- Basement (have floorplan)
- There are some items that need to be remodeled or retextured on the first floor so everything fits/meshes well:
- Entrance floor needs new mesh.
- Need new column mesh for entrance/chapel transition.
- Need to alter the mesh for the 'doors' (currently windows that don't open) in the merchant area.
- Need to alter the mesh for the wood walls to get a nicer looking column.
- Need to build a mesh for the stairs in the main hall, so I'm not using replicated floor tiles.
- Retexture wood walls so they don't look so dirty.
- Retexture plaster walls so they look nicer/less dirty.
- Retexture flooring in merchant area and kitchen.
- New greenhouse 'windows'?
- Something with the stairs?
Known Bugs:
- Some areas have overlap, causing 'jittery' textures. Working on a fix.
- A few areas have tiles that don't fully meet - will be fixed in next update.
Future Plans:
My original idea for Sweetwater Manor came about because there were so few player housing mods that combined the features of a mod with the vanilla 'building' experience. I'm also extremely picky =) I run a bunch of mods, so I wanted something that would maximize compatibility, have a ton of features, look really nice, offer the vanilla 'building' experience, allow the player to feel like they've invested in their home, and spectacular views.
I wanted to accomplish all this without the use of internal loading screens, and with real windows. As this is my first mod, the windows are probably quite a ways off, but I've got some ideas...
Currently Planned Features:
- Obtained via quest. Once the player hits level 10, a courier will drop off a note starting the quest. The house will be in a major state of disrepair, and require time (not much!) and materials to get into a liveable state. (General quest outline complete). Certain areas have to be repaired in order, but most areas are optional. Repairing different areas unlocks more features!
- Location: Picked, but not linked yet.
- Interior Features/Rooms:
- Entrance
- Main Hall
- Promenade (with merchants).
- Chapel (all alters).
- Kitchen
- Pantry (possibly with respawning ingredients?)
- Greenhouse
- Servant Quarters (Houscarl, steward, cooks, maids)
- Up to 6 children's bedrooms (Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions compatible, but not required).
- Children's Playroom
- Nanny
- Library
- Bathhouse
- Atrium
- Ability to hire skill trainers?
- Trophy Room
- Armoury
- Training Room
- All crafting stations.
- Barracks?
- Exterior Features/Buildings
- Stables
- Barracks, if they don't fit inside
- Guest House
- Lots of decks
- Arbors
- Landscaping
- Additional servant quarters (grooms, gardeners ect).
- Barn
- Farmland
- Well
- Orchard
- Courtyard
- Garden w/ Standing Stones
- Labyrinth?
- Mine?
- Security
- Hireable guardsmen
- Walls
- Gates
- Watchtowers
- Merchants:
- General Goods - Player Spouse
- Blacksmith (works at forge in basement, lives with sisters in merchant quarters).
- Armour (sister)
- Weapons (sister)
- Bowyer (married to Hunter)
- Hunter (married to Bowyer)
- Alchemist
- Magical/Reagents
- Jeweler
- Fence (hidden in basement).
Let me know what you think! If you'd like to help with testing, meshes, or texturing, let me know please =)

According to the left tab in MO, I'm actually running 267, since the limit is on ESPs, not mods. I get ~23 FPS. I have heavily tweaked skyrim and prefs.ini's, and enboost without a preset. With vanilla Skyrim plus the ini tweaks, enboost, the high res DLC and unofficial patches, I get ~35 FPS at 1920x1080. Setting my inis to ultra gets me a bit closer to 40 FPS, but I don't think the visual loss is worth it. For me, a 38% drop is acceptable for the improved graphics and gameplay =) I also play in windowed mode for easier tabbing, and I think putting it in full screen would improve my FPS. Oh, I use HialgoSwitch too. It helps during movement.
I really really REALLY love my gaming laptop, but I'm looking into getting a desktop soon, something that won't have any issues running Skyrim with settings set to 'Danger' levels of high

Hi DarkRider! Your Intro to CK is one of the classes I'm reading through =)

Hello Allies!
This site has already been a HUGE help to me - I love it! The idea of 'classes' is amazing.
I'm new to TES mod creation, but not modding in general. I'm currently running 254 mods in my first Skyrim playthrough =) I'm loving the game, but it's missing...something. I've tried just about every player housing mod, but none of them were quite right for me. So I decided to build my own! I've picked the features I want, done a layout for the first floor, and started slapping pieces together in the creation kit,
From the descriptions and tutorials, I was hoping every piece 'type' (walls, flooring, etc.) would be interchangeable, but such is not the case...so I guess I'll build some of those pieces too?
Good thing I'm a fan of puzzles =)
