  1. None of them because:

Bruma: Cold and backdoors, that and the doors seem weak and the mountains could provide a trebuchet with easy ways of destroying the city from above

Skingrad: The last holding place would be the castle: Destroy the bridge -> Win the city

Kvatch: there is a reason it fell for the Daedra, and if they take up the walkways the only way is digging out of the city

IC: a total of 6 entrances and the sewers could be exploited

Anvil: Close to the sea could cause a blockade of supplies, if combined with a land assault

Leyawiin: 2 entrance ways, already flooded, the castle is really close to a gate

Chorrol: Siege the city, finish up the digging in the nearby cave

Bravil: Diseases would spread really quickly during a prolonged siege

Cheydenhal: the counts son and the gangs could make a diplomatic way of gaining the city

  2. I resented it ending, and refused to play until the Broken Steel add-on came along and un-ended it again. For me it just wasn't worth all the Enclave Aggro Boys popping up all over the landscape like fungus only to find myself running into a wall at the end of the game. I know it completed the story and all, but I prefer wandering about causing trouble and running away from things. The idea of being a posthumous hero rather bummed me out.

Same here I downloaded the BrokenSteel addon just because of the continued gameplay

  3. I really like this idea. Stories need a moment where the proponent loses hope and retreats, but then rises up stronger than ever to defeat his enemies and win the day.

that's something all stories need they need a moment all hope is lost but then something happens that is just amazing and changes the chances

and actually I'm currently developping the story for a mod that fills in the blanks of the players past (or atleast partially, it's more of a nice quest mod but the story focuses on the grey areas in the players past) and it's a lot of work trying to make it as player friendly possible and I think it's near impossible to make a nice PostMQ story

  4. We changed the topic a bit this was the original question: "can an open world game end (as in, no more playing)?"

What did you like about the endings? and what is it you didn't like?

This may be used for future mods.

My Idea about a better OB ending: In spoiler tags because it contains a lot of spoilers

    My version (first):

It could be made that you CAN (IE martin Dies) fail the quests it would make a really nice questline, like you need to lead a small pocket of resistance fighters against the army of Mehrunes that needs the help from the other gods to defeat him,

    My version (second):

If you succeed but with heavy losses and the gates of Oblivion are still open and you need to close them all after which the Imperial Palace is destroyed in a last effort to take the realms but because of some sort of Divine Intervention (like that if you "Kill" JyGaladyGaga he shows up to battle Mehrunes or that Hermeaus Mora shows up after completing her quest or Azura because she's one of the Aedra or one of the 9 divines).

  5. I'd like to see the 100 one stay... to someone who has never had a lot of downloads seeing that at 100 is quite a feat. :o

I secretly support this, I was really happy when I saw my mod dled 100 times :heyyou:

  6. Well, if I can make a suggestion it would be to have some new medals that are more in line with TESA's current state. Some medals are still from the day that TESA was a reasonable small community. I am proud about my "Takedown" medal for achieving 100+ downloads as that was something very special back than. But TESA has grown a lot since than and some downloads have even surpassed the 5500+ mark.

    My "takedown" it's the precious...

    no seriously 100dls isn't much

  7. Actually the Daedra are the most powerful, they can activately work on things.

The Nine only work through people and rarely reveal to the person it is them helping, never directly....that was until oblivion,

but even then it require a big sacrifice to have akatosh appear.

but when do daedra influence anything when it's

    A: not in their realm

B: not in an invading realm?

  8. Ashlanders, Imperial Cult, Daedra, Tribunal,

I think that the daedra are the less-powerful gods because they always require humans to do their bidding

Ashlanders: want to do anything as long as they survive

Imperial Cult: they don't want to do anything but convert everyone

    Tribunal:

they are the false gods and the ordinators are weird

    XD
