      Yeah they put it up for anyone who wants to test it, but it's not a "release" version. Anyway, it looks like it has some interesting features. =)

      I think that's a development version given the odd minor version number (2.9). I'm pretty sure that the release version is always an even number (2.6 -> 2.8). It's quite common in open source projects to do that.
