  1. How do I get rid of the black-and-yellow lines so I can move only what I want to move?
  2. This topic would be in the Morrowind forum, but you know. A bit of background... Last night I decided to improve one of the splash screens I'd made. The idea is to place the Tribunal emblem behind the logo. (I mean, the "hand" symbol behind the name "Tribunal".) Here's where the problem begins. My splash screen and the symbol are in two different files. How do I paste the symbol and position it to achieve the desired effect? Should everything be on the same layer, or what?
  3. When I click on an image in this thread, it's "You are not allowed to view this image" time.
  4. Hello, Arcanscape. It's good to see a new student in the college- er, Enclave.
  5. No, I was just setting up a new script as per instructions. The only thing I can think of is a misspelling somewhere in "ObjectReference". It's still not working. Too bad Bethesda didn't just put a dropdown menu beside "Extends", though I'm pretty sure I have it spelled right. Halp! Here's the error message.
  6. Just missed it by one day; this one is improving. Happy birthday, Sorrow.
  7. Having a bit of trouble here. It says "The extends script does not exist, please use one that does".
  8. Apologies for cluttering up the thread, but here goes.
  9. Having looked at the General Stats menu, I know the game keeps track of values such as number of books read and places discovered. What I'd like to know is, can those values be called in scripts? So, for instance, would it be possible to add a perk when the player discovers a certain number of locations?
  10. This is very glad to hear you don't plan on deleting the original patches. However, he is a bit concerned about the fate of Ars Metallica. Is it fair to ask me to use Dawnguard simply to continue using a smithing mod?
  11. Both Gimp and Paint.net couldn't open the chainmail texture from Lesson 2 today. What's up?
  12. Welcome. I've never heard of "toasting a new bread"; how does it taste?
  13. Does that mean I let the cat out of the bag?
  14. Counters are smaller than houses, and at 0,0,0 I'm right next to a wall.
  15. How many quality levels are there for armor?
  16. It would be nice if one could earn some of those perks by, say, completing courses in the Enclave. Or if you must have us pay, what about unlocking certain perks based on the amount donated? This way seems more equitable to me.
  17. ^Tell that to the slaughterfish. I doubt you'll get very far.
  18. Is there a hard-coded limit of one power per race in Skyrim? It just doesn't make sense that nobody has any abilities that differentiate them from everyone else. (Why, for instance, is an Argonian unable to fight underwater?)
  19. Good old "Doctor" Who. My (hopefully) last question is, how does all that apply to counters? And starting at zero should help in Unity as well, right?
  20. What's the easiest way of assembling something with Snap to Grid, and is it possible to see the grid?
  21. As they say, curiosity killed the Khajiit and satisfaction brought him back. So this one asks, what benefits come from using Update.esm as a master? Since there are no more updates planned for Skyrim, is it even worth consideration? Thank you in advance for all your help.
  22. This sounds like a lot of fun. When this one finishes the CK Basics course, he may contribute.
