  1. You need SKSE. I don't use SKSE so I cannot help you with that. SKSE = SKyrim Script Extender.
  2. Well, I had already taken not getting those items into account! But, I may go with the i7 you have linked to. Its only money, right?
  3. Not that I have seen. I wish there were.
  4. The problem is the i7's are very expensive, compared to the server CPUs. Dang, I might have to go with a weak i7 or i5 for now. $350 for the CPU really cuts into my budget.
  5. And I always use 4 mip-maps.
  6. I certainly do not want problems with games. I was more going for the cooler running temps because the bridge is smaller, and the 'graphics' capability which I do not need. It was also rated pretty high and cheaper than all the other chips in the benchmark tests. Thanks HeyYou, this gives me something to think about...
  7. Actually, its best to NOT create new objects. The traps will 'usually' not work if you 'copy and paste' them. They will work if you drag each object from the Object Window and drop it in the Render window, and then link them up properly. Also, trigger zones do not always work on cardinal angles. (0, 90, 180, 270) Turn then 1 degree any direction.
  8. Anything wrong with the current items I have selected? I updated the first post with my current 'selection'.
  9. Heh heh, good one Darkstone! I used to run a forklift in a warehouse in my younger days. I did not have to do it often, as I was the 'supervisor' of receiving, shipping, stocking, delivery and the warehouse. It kept me busy!
  10. 11. Hi terzaerian! Your strengths would certainly enhance my weaknesses! I was never that good with NPC's or followers. I was always more into textures, scripts and level design. Here is your first
  12. Okay, so I was informed that the 1150 is the old chip form. So here is some info on the 1155 chip form. Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V LK LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131837 $124.99 CPU Desktop: Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000 BX80637I53570K http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116504 $229.99 CPU Server: Intel Xeon E3-1230 Sandy Bridge 3.2GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1155 80W Quad-Core Server Processor BX80623E31230 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115083 $239.99 Memory: CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2400 Desktop Memory Model CMD8GX3M2A2400C11 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233604 139.99 Keyboard: Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4 Keyboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823109191 $39.99
  13. I just "think" the Intel has more power behind its stats than the AMD CPU. So I will stick with the Intel for this build. Besides, its the only board that currently has the PCI 3.0 slot.
  14. Motherboard 102.99 CPU 339.99 Memory 82.99 PSU 149.99 DVD 19.99 ================== $695.45 The GPU and heat sink can wait as I have relatively good parts for these two items.
  15. And I am going to change to this DVD drive: ASUS DVD-Writer 24X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 8X DVD+R DL 24X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 24X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM Black SATA Model DRW-24F1ST - OEM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135305 $19.99 Its newer, made for W7.
  16. Perhaps one of these... Intel Intel Xeon E3-1275V3 Haswell 3.5GHz LGA 1150 95W Quad-Core Server Processor BX80646E31275V3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116908 $349.99 Intel Core i7-4770K Haswell 3.5GHz LGA 1150 84W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics BX80646I74770K http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116901 $339.99
  17. Thanks for the suggestions I thought I had the DVD Burner, but guess not. Good catch! How about this one? ASUS 24X DVD Burner - Bulk 24X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 12X DVD+R DL 24X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM Black SATA Model DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS - OEM http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135204 $19.99 That is a nice setup Arion, quite a bit of power there. But I am holding out for a MB with the PCI 3.0 slot for future upgrades. It will probably be another 7 years before I can buy another computer so I would like it to be upgradeable.
  18. What kind of CPU would you be thinking about?
  19. Its locked tight until you buy the place and get the key. Or you can try this: http://www.creationkit.com/SetActorOwner_-_Cell
  20. I don't use SKSE for coding. You might check with the SKSE forum, at least I assume they have a forum.
  21. I will not be overclocking the CPU. I currently have a Zalman solid copper core cyclone radiator heat sink (without the LED) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118223 I also currently have a pretty good video card, so the GFX card could wait a while as well. XFX ATI Radeon HD6950 2 GB DDR5 2DVI/HDMI/2x Mini-Displayport PCI-Express Video Card http://www.amazon.com/XFX-Radeon-Mini-Displayport-PCI-Express-HD695XCDFC/dp/B00568KKOW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1395885094&sr=8-2&keywords=xfx+hd6950 The Liquid cooler and GFX could wait until later. It all depends on how much (if any) of a tax return I get.
  22. My Frankenbeast is giving up the ghost, slowly. So its time to look into some new parts. Namely: 1. Motherboard 2. CPU 3. Memory - 8GB 4. Power Supply - At least 750 watt and possibly: 5. Video card - I currently have an ATI Radeon HD 6950 w/2GB PCI express I have a big case, good condition. I have a keyboard and mouse for input. I have dual monitors, one is DVI and the other is HDMI. I have a sound blaster sound card which is PCI. I have Logitech 7.1 speakers with sub-woofer. I have 3 SATA hard drives. What was I looking at? Motherboard - something with PCI 3.0 slot for a next-gen video card. ============= ASUS Z87-A LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131981 $139.99 CPU - Probably middle of the road here. Was thinking about the 'server' CPU. ===== Intel Core i7-4771 Haswell 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1150 84W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4600 BX80646I74771 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116941 $319.99 Benchmarks: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/socketType.html#id7 Memory - 8GB, I want GOOD memory. I do not want cheap here... The motherboard will take up to DDR3 3000. 23. Finally, I about had a heart attack today. My computer would not turn on at all. Mucked around in its guts for a while, finally got it resurrected. My Frankenbeast is not long for this world...
