    Spent today at the Dublin Irish Festival! :dance: Loads of fun every year! More exciting than normal this year. Five hours early, a biblical type storm rolled in and forced them to close it down. The cops were herding all of us to the nearest community center to take shelter! :lmao: I kept trying to get back out to get video of the storm in full swing but the cops wouldn't let me. XD They said "Sheesh lady are you nuts? Get back inside!" :rofl: dammit. Took two hours for it to blow itself out but it went by a little faster than it would have otherwise as several people who had instruments with them started an impromptu jam session in the center complete with a couple dancers. XD Made the time pass better.

    Well they've nabbed AWLS and WillieSea's mods, Kvatch Rebuilt and even UV. And I especially love the requests for the author to contact them. Wow. :rofl: Suddenly I'm glad they couldn't grab my mods off Nexus. Means I don't have to go another round of arguing with idiots who've rehosted my work without asking. :rolleyes:

    There are rumors about three new actors joining for season two... really dont look if you dont want to be spoilered (is that even a word?)

    Christopher Eccleston (9th Doctor) for either Stannis Baratheon or Balon Greyjoy, Tony Curran (those damn Scottish actors, gotta love'em) and Natalie Dormer (Anne Boleyn in The Tudors) as Margaery Tyrell.

    The good news is, I contacted APY over at PES/IGN and he commented in the BGS thread that IGN may be interested in pursuing a DMCA complaint through their legal department. If that's the case, I've gained an enormous amount of respect for PES/IGN just for even considering the possibility.

    You and me both. I hope they do and give Softpedia something to worry about in future when they consider uploading the work of others without their permission. :pints:

    Well what do you know! XD After a couple rounds of emails where they tried to convince me that the use of resources in my mods meant they were allowed to upload whatever they wanted....they've agreed to take them down and have. Score one for the good guys!

    :woohoo: Now if only they'll do the same for all the other mod authors who's work they've wrongly uploaded.

    Bethesda doesn't really have anything to do with this. They're probably better off not getting involved, since they have no legal grounds to do so unless one of those hosted mods breaks the EULA for the game itself - and they're not prone to go looking, at this point. It will be up to individual modders to stick up for themselves.

    Yep. I've notified the admin of the site both through email and on site and submitted comments to each of the files they uploaded. That is all I can do. There is no legal recourse. The modding community works on the honor system when it comes to hosting the files of others. Softpedia has no honor and now we all know.

    And that said, I hope you all do stick up for yourselves, and I hope they pull the files. I don't know by what process they were put there, but whoever is responsible should fear lonely parking lots. :noway:

    I have contacted them via email, through the site and commented my files ( all comments are hidden prior to moderation though ) and as yet have received no response from them. Arthmoor as well, over on Beth, stated that this is a problem with them he's had in the past. I don't have high hopes on them actually pulling my mods. :rolleyes:
