    Bloodfalls

    Version 1.0

Bloodfalls ========== by Tamira Modder's resource Bloody falls for dark intentions and bloody thoughts ... I made these bloodfall resource by request some time ago but now I think I could as well share it with the community. Please take this resource "as is", I do not intend to add more varieties. Adds bloody falls in three different sizes (128X128; 2048X512; 4096X256) and a bloody creek. In the CK under "moveable static" edit the FXWaterfallThin or the FXCreekFlatLarge with the included meshes. The included texture is only needed for the fxBloodCreekLarge. Feel free to use these resources in your mods. It would be nice if you give me a little credit but it's not required. Do not upload to other sites.

===================================== Strotis Old Mill Resource for Skyrim ===================================== by Stroti converted and modified by Tamira ============================= Modders resource ============================= This is the conversion of Strotis old mill resource You can find the original files here: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/42879/ ============================= There are two demo esps included for a quick overview of the two versions of the mill and the house: "aaStrotiMillDemo.esp" and "aaStrotiHouseDemo.esp". Please only activate one of them as they use the same place! Both versions can be found near Riverwood Bridge, you cannot miss them. There is also a map marker included. They are roughly navmeshed on the outside and on the lower floor to avoid some oddities when you have a follower ^^. ============================= Mill: The original has fully animated mill-gears, mill-wheel and millstone. I did not manage to port over the complicated animation for the mechanism so the mill gear remains static. Maybe some day in the future ... But I managed to animate the row boat, the toolshed door and the chimney door. I did not include the mill wheel as there are already animated mill wheels in Skyrim, so I retextured the existing ones to match the appearance of the house and included them. ============================= Alternate House: As the mill gear is not working, I decided to modify the mill to a normal house as an alternate version. I removed from the exterior and interior the parts that are used by the gear, only a small pit on the first floor and small hole in the ceiling remained. You can use the pit as a bathtub or something like that or drop a static on it to make it invisible. I also textured it a bit more lightly than the old mill. ============================= Alternate no-window-light files: For those who prefer unlighted windows, I included an extra folder "House No Window Lighting" will all interior and exterior meshes with unlighted windows. ============================= Besides the house and the millwheel there are included: Tool shed with stairs and animated door Podest with stairs Row boat, animated and not animated Handcart with sacks 4 different sacks Rope with hook Millstone 2 different ovens, one of them with 3 different textures Weathercock Birdcage and a teapot ============================= Notes: The mill wheels need to be scaled down in the CK, a scale of 0.7 works fine The same applies to the chimney door, a scale of 0.5 looks good. ================= Tools used: ================= Blender Nifskope NifUtils by Skyfox Gimp ================= Permissions: ================= This is a modders resource. You may use the meshes and textures for your own mods as long as you give credit and you do not charge money for it. Do not upload to other sites. Stroti has quit modding and will no longer be active on the forums. I have his personal permission to convert his Oblivion resources and to upload them. ================= Credits: ================= Stroti for his resources and for everything he has given to the TES community! ============================= Strotis Manor Resource for Skyrim Version 1.1 ============================= by Stroti Converted by Tamira ============================= Modders resource ============================= This is a conversion of Strotis Dragonstone Manor Resource, originally published for Oblivion. You can find the original resource files here: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/42793 A demo esp is included for a quick overview. I placed the manor near Heartwood Mill, the mapmarker is visible from start. Note that this is only a demo, the house has no navmesh and is not decorated. I tried to port all animated objects over to Skyrim but I only was successful with the animated single doors and the secret doors. The divided doors, the secret levers and the rotating spit of the original are not included. As a replacement for the rotating spit I added a grill and a special fire for the hearth. You will notice that there are no stairways between the floors. Stroti called this "barrier-free" ^^. You can connect the floor simply with doors or invent something else like the "lifts" that I made up in the demo esp. It took me a rather long time to accomplish this as Stroti used many original Oblivion textures that I had to replace. I hope you like how it came out at last. ============================= Changes in Version 1.1: ============================= Added alternate meshes with lightened /unlightened windows for the manor, first floor, ground floor and attic. For those who want the exterior windows lighted too and for those who want to change the lighting of the windows per script according to the daytime Added a modified Stroti well for use in the basement, for those who fear to fall down the black hole Added missing footstep sound to the basement Corrected wrong footstep sound for the outside stairs ================= Tools used: ================= Blender Nifskope NifUtils by Skyfox Creation Kit ================= Permissions: ================= This is a modders resource. You may use the meshes and textures for your own mods as long as you give credit and you do not charge money for it. ============================= Strotis Cannon Resource for Skyrim Version 1.0 ============================= by Stroti Converted by Tamira ============================= Modders resource ============================= This is a conversion of Stroti's Cannon Resource, originally published for Oblivion. You can find the original resource files here: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/35800 A cannon, bombs, dynamite - all what you need to fight your enemies. All meshes are static and not animated. In addition I added the single dynamite and the bomb as clutter object. A demo esp is included for a quick overview. I placed the objects on top of the Western Watchtower near Whiterun. Don't let this esp activated when you seriously play your game. ================= Tools used: ================= Blender Nifskope NifUtils by Skyfox Creation Kit ================= Permissions: ================= This is a modders resource. You may use the meshes and textures for your own mods as long as you give credit and you do not charge money for it. Adds 5 new light breed horses to the Loreius Farm. The horse is a re-sculpture of the vanilla horse mesh and uses a modified saddle and skeleton.nif file. The horses are marked essential and are as fast as the regular horse. Use Swift Steeds move it for faster horse. (1.5x the speed of vanilla) Requirements: Skyrim 1.9.29.0.8 or higher Versions Swift Steeds.esp uses 2048 textures Swift Steeds lo res.esp uses 1024 textures Use one -- the two are not compatible Manual installation 1) Extract the contents of the ZIP folder into your Data folder. 2) Make sure the Swift Steeds.esp is checked in the Launcher. Un-installation 1) Delete the files/folders associated with the mod (Swift Steeds.esp in your data folder and the Swift Steeds folders found under meshes and textures in your Skyrim folder. (Default is path C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data) 2) Make sure Swift Steeds.esp is unchecked in the Launcher. Conflicts Not compatible with any horse armors. Known Issues Riding can look odd when viewed from the side. The skeleton doesn't fit the mesh as well as it could, so I'm hoping moving the bones will help. But until a new nifscript is released for Blender, there's no way to do this. (That I know of anyway.) I've also had issues with the horses dying even though they're marked essential if the esp is placed before Convenient Horses and Convenient horse herding. Just make sure it loads after those two mods or similar mods if you don't want them to die. Permissions All texture and mesh files are modder's resource. You don't need my permission to use them, just credit me for my work. Please do not upload the esp file to other sites. Credits Thanks to Bethesda for creating Skyrim and the Creation Kit. Thanks to InsanitySorrow for the ReadMe Generator the ReadMe is based on. Thanks to the Blender, Paint.net, Nifscope and GIMP developers for providing free software. Thanks to Hanaisse (Tes Alliance) for the 'Creating Armor in Skyrim' tutorial. In loving memory of my horse Flicka.

Project: Blank Road and City Signs Resource Author: Hanaisse Version: 1.0 Release Date: 3/15/2013 Category: Resources ================== Description: ================== You've worked hard on your new village. Your NPC's are proud of their little corner of Skyrim. But why aren't people visiting? Perhaps they don't know how to get there? Direct traffic to your new village with a new roadsign! Simply paint your village name on the board and nail it up on any existing signpost. Or add your own signpost along any road. No longer will people wander aimlessly looking for your pub. This resource contains blank roadsigns and a blank city sign. The textures are new (well, because your village is new) and sized the same as the HiRes roadsigns. Use any graphics editor (Photoshop, GIMP, PaintNet) to add your village name, create the roadsign in the CK and either add to an existing signpost or add your very own signpost. ================== Details: ================== *This package contains 6 roadsigns in a small, medium and large size, pointing both left and right, plus 1 city sign. Each sign mesh has been re-uv-mapped for better quality and contains the necessary collision. *See the included RoadSignUV.jpg and CitySignUV.jpg pictures to position your text properly on the sign mesh. *The font used by vanilla signs can be found here. Or use any font of your choosing to be unique. *Feel free to modify the textures to your liking, or use your own. ============================= Instructions to Create your own Sign: ============================= 1. Decide what size sign you need. Open the appropriate .dds texture file in the graphics editor program of your choice. Add your text (using the screenshots RoadSignUV.jpg and CitySignUV.jpg as a guide). Save with a NEW filename as DXT1, no alpha. 2. Add the appropriate size .nif file to your mod's meshes folder (typically in a \clutter\ sub-folder) as well as your new texture to your mod's texture folder. Include the generic _n.dds file. 3. Open the .nif file in NifSkope and re-path to point to your new texture. 3. Create your sign in the CK as a static, and place in your mod. You do not need to add ALL the signs, just the ones you use. ================== Changelog: ================== 3/15/2013 - Initial Release ================== Contact Details: ================== I can be reached here. ================== Credits: ================== Thanks to Bethesda for creating Skyrim. Thanks to InsanitySorrow for the ReadMe Generator this ReadMe is based on. Arthmoor for the idea. ================== Tools Used: ================== ReadMe Generator Photoshop Nifskope ================== Licensing/Legal: ================== This is a resource. Use it freely in your mods and please give credit. Do not upload this resource package to any other site and claim it as your own. I have proof.

    - Clean Save - For Skyrim version 1.8.151.0.7 What is a clean save?: It is usually referred to in a troubleshooting environment; it is a save that has never seen a mod(s) before. It is clean because it has not been "dirtied" by, or exposed to any information and/or data from any mod(s). It is for this reason it becomes an ideal (necessary) testing environment when troubleshooting mods. Unlike previous Bethesda games (recent Fallout's, Oblivion) a clean save can't simply be made by uninstalling mods and then making a fresh save. You will orphan a lot of data that way. See below for more information. Why use a clean save?: It ensures no remnant or persistent data is distorting your results, giving you feedback that is accurate. Teleporting from the Main Menu is a popular method, but it should not be relied upon for serious testing. A lot of things get initialised when going through the new game sequence, it is important to test mods in the environment to which they will be applied (how many people started their actual playthrough by teleporting from the main menu?). Furthermore, we're sick of asking. If you are having problems and tell people that you are testing with a certified clean save we are one step closer to a potential resolution. About: I think a lot of people could benefit from this. It saves you having to go through the tedium of the starting sequence (or a clean install of Skyrim) if you haven't got access to a save like this already. I also have hopes that this kind of thing can become a standard when troubleshooting. Eg. "Did you test with the latest Clean Save Resource?" Surely by now we're all sick of asking about, hearing about, and answering questions relating to clean saves and the testing of mods. Notes: The save has been made just outside Helgen Keep, right after having finished the Quest: Unbound. No mods installed, requires only Skyrim and Update.ESM. The file name of the save is: Save 3 - Prisoner Skyrim. Installation: Download the archive to your computer Extract the save to wherever your saves are located. (For Windows 7 it's usually - Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Saves) Test your mods Do not overwrite this save! Uninstallation: Really? Remove the save file manually or in-game Reel from your loss Permissions: No credit necessary. Just spread the word where you can, it would be excellent if this sort of procedure became standard for everyone who posts about issues that are potentially related to a dirty save. Availability: Currently limited to Dropbox and the Nexus. Reference Material: Save File Notes (Papyrus) - CK Wiki Article Clean Mod/Clean Save Thread - CK Forums Discussion. Of note are posts from a Bethesda Employee (#1, #2) Official Resource Thread - BethSoft Forums. If anyone else has good links please post them here! We need this information to get out there! (it would also be good to have a definitive thread discussing precisely what a clean save is somewhere so I can link to it)

  13. Knowing how uptight Bethesda (and all companies) can be about their assets and copyrights, I feel it appropriate to ask this question. Is it all right to use files from mods created for other games (i.e. Knights of the Old Republic), provided I have the author's permission?
