== Halcyon House v1.1 ==

Halcyon house is an out of the way home at the far, South-Eastern corner of Cyrodiil. She sits just off the shore on Topal Bay. To find the home, start from Leyawiin and travel East along the coast line toward Black Marsh.

A small Stable stands just on shore to shelter your mount from the elements. Inside, you'll find a cozily decorated home including dining area, living room, Master bedroom and Study. In the cellar, cleverly protected from the ocean by reef rock, is a sumptuous display area for all your shiney bits and stolen goods as well as a small guest area for any companions who may share your home with you.

Please note that Borders will need to be disabled to reach the house. In the Default ini, find this line:

bBorderRegionsEnabled

Change the 1 to a 0 and save. Your borders will now be disabled.

= Requirements =

TES IV: Oblivion Patched to v1.2.0416

= Installation =

Extract the Halcyon House .esp, meshes and Textures to your Oblivion/Data directory then enable the Halcyon House esp. in the Oblivion Launcher.

*IF you are updating to the new version, simply allow the new files and folders to overwrite the old. Anything you have previously placed in the house will be safe as nothing has been removed or changed. Only added.

Remove the following files and folders from your Oblivion/Data directory:

Data/meshes/Red/Halcyon

Data/Textures/Red/Halcyon

Thanks Shen! Can't wait to hear what you think of it! I know, there aren't any pedestals or whatever for your mannequins but I didn't know what to do for those. If I figure it out, I'll make an update just for you that adds them! There are loads of spaces TOO put mannequins.

I was keeping an eye out for a new player home if I ever actualy start playing the game again after my reinstall, I will definitely try this one out. Glad to here you character is enjoying her new digs, although I would have thought she'd wait for Willie to finish his mod if she wanted to display her booty. (sorry couldn't help it)

Oh the mental image. Thanks Wind! I needed that! I'm in the middle of a re-install myself at the moment. LOL I hope you get the chance to have a look around once you get your game back up and running! There are quite a few little nods to Morrowind in my house. I just couldn't resist.

I think that in the Battlehorn Enhanced the modder just used shrunken versions of those stands for the stuffed animals, its not a worry though, I can find many places to stuff them, stands arnt needed lol.

Since Shisno has started dating (yes, first real gf), Zig has not been so cruel to him, so he might be going a bit soft, since his gf only uses a spray bottle on him.. yes im serious. These mods make him regret he cant play OB on his PC lol

Woo! The porch on the water is my favorite part. I love sitting out there and watching the sun set! and oh yeah...the window seat upstairs. I loooooove the window seat! Such a cozy quiet place to relax with a book!

This is a lovely house, for sure, and I've decided to add about ten NPCs to the living room, dancing. I want a party atmosphere, and It's big enough to accommodate that.

Oh, and maybe a few loiterers on the balcony too.

It's a gorgeous, luxurious mansion in a secluded location- so really, it either has to have a horrible Bluebeard-ish secret, or be filled with sybarites. I vote for sybarites!

Now that I got to play in the house a bit, gotta say this is the best house I have used in game! Even without NPCs it feels lived in and alive. I see I wasnt the only one that thought it would be great to have a few other NPCs partying in there! The mod made me go a bit pic happy, 20 or 21 shots I believe, all uploaded here. (fan art thread)
