Movie Hosting sites?

So I'm looking around for a site that will host videos for me.  I do know about youtube, but I'd rather not have all my videos hosted there, as I'd like people to visit the website I'm building instead of just hanging out on youtube.  

oh.. this is for a web-series that I'm producing/acting in.

Well, you could always create a site with something like "webs", host your videos on YouTube or Photobucket, and then embed them in your site. Here have a look at Rider's personal site. Would something like this work for you?

I'd like to try and have my videos hosted somewhere that isn't Youtube.  mainly because I'd like to have a YouTube channel as well, but one that only has the first two or three episodes and that re-directs people to the actual website. I'm also creating a facebook page with similar content as well as a myspace one.  The problem is that if people have access to all the content we offer on the social networking site of their choice, they will have no incentive to come to our page (which I think is purty, and I can advertise on   )

LOL Yeah, she did. A little texture face lift and she youthened.  

You can host videos on Photobucket as well, which would save your Youtube channel for other things and embed those.

so um.. crap.  My videos are too big for Photobucket.  I've got a video that's almost 300MB.  Yikes.

Yeah, that's a problem. I host all my vids on Photobucket now because YouTube muted a couple, but I had to buy a premium membership on photobucket to do so.

anyone heard of blip.tv?   They seem cool for Web Series. I found them while hunting for video hosting sites.
