As the title says, I'm just curious as to what mods people love and use for the graphical or some other sort of aesthetic improvements.

For me doubtlessly, its the Book Jackets and their accompanying mods for Tribunal and Bloodmoon. I just hate to see "stock covers" on everything.

I know a lot of people like to use MGE maybe along with texture replacements. That just doesn't cut it with me! I find MGE takes away too much of the mysterious side of "What is over that hill there?!" Because when you stand on a mountain you can see for miles! As for the textures, they are indeed awesome in some cases, but sometimes mods can mess with 'em and make the place a shamble!

So... what do you think?

You can run MGE with almost no FPS hit, if you set it up right. You can even use a few shaders without hurting speed.

Of course, if you want to make it look really good, you'll need a few good shaders and distant land.

And an absolute favorite of mine: http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f386/vtastek/morrowind/Morrowind2009/sc01/Morrowind-MGE-caldera23.jpg

And finally (for now) the assorted Better Heads packages, which really do make the NPCs (and player options) look an awful lot better, instead of just awful.

OH my yes! Better Bodies and Westley's Master Head Pack. :eyeroll: I do adore what they've done for my game. There are some truly gorgeous combinations!

I do not have my load order in front of me, but from what I remember :

- MGE (Of course!)

- Every Connary's retextures

- Skydye's Vibrant Skies

- A head replacer that adds unique hairs and heads to every NPC. (Can't remember the name!)

- A retexture pack that has better graphics for every armors and weapons.

- Book Jackets

I'll need to check my mod load order and take a couple of screenshots. :D
