Making a Static into a seat

I found no possibility to rotate a furniture marker in nifskope, so maybe you only can add one at a time and then modify the Y- and Z - coordinates so it moves to the right place in the bench:

But you could add several unvisible seats to the bench in the CS. I have only found a ressource by Garak (the description is in German, I could help you there if you wish) but you only need the nifs of course:

1. Open up nifskope and open an existnig furniture NIF that has the seating you want. Delete the nitristrips part of the nif (the part with the visual furniture, not the marker part)

2. Then open your tree stump, copy the entire nitristrips block, and paste that block into your edited NIF from step 1 above.

3. Save with a new name and your stump will have the furniture markers.

You can also use Nifskope to rotate the nitristrips part of the visible mesh, and move it around to fit the marker.

Ok Kiwi, I DLed and took a look in nifskope. Everything looks great to me. The collision is as good as any I`ve seen and the furniture markers are in place nicely. The textures have been pathed but he didn`t include them in the DL, probably because they`re vanilla and should auto detect. I repathed them adding a prefix and applied them in nifskope. It looks great so I zipped it up and sent it back to you in a PM...

If you really want to learn how to do this `d suggest Vince`s Blender 2 Oblivion classes, #1, and #2 in which we ended up making an upper class stool properly equipping it for use in anyones game.
