Jo'Virr is a Khajiit archer and enthusiastic tea-drinker who hopes to meet a traveling companion. Jo'Virr does not require any external mods, and has partial voice acting. You can find him in Skingrad, generally in or around the Two Sisters Lodge.

---

Jo'Virr has all the basic companion features:

- He sneaks when you sneak; you can ask him to draw his weapon when you do, or to wait until combat begins.

- You can access his inventory. He will replenish his ammunition if you ask him to.

- He will follow you or stop following you on request, and comes with a summoning spell in case you get separated.

- He'll switch automatically to melee combat if an enemy draws too close. Technically, you could use him for a fighter / shield, but he's really built more for an archer.

Extra features:

- Jo'Virr will comment on your surroundings, his background, and current events as he follows you through Cyrodiil.

- There will likely be more comments added in future updates-- I wanted to get this released before I could second-guess myself any more.

- He'll hand over the occasional gift of food or drink.

- He'll never, ever hijack your adventures-- Jo'Virr is meant strictly as a support character for your PC!

- Jo'Virr is partially voiced, thanks to the talented DarkSpace. His random comments are silent by design, so as not to interfere with actual plot-related sounds and/or dialogue!

Thanks to:

- DarkSpace (Nathan M.) - DarkSpace is the voice of Jo'Virr-- check him out here!

- Rowan Leeves, for her constant support & feedback. Jo'Virr was originally built for her! You can find her mods here: http://tesnexus.com/modules/members/index.php?id=656505

- EruditeDragon, for feedback & ideas.

- Picador, for his assistance with the Valtierro mod, way back when. I've re-used his script corrections in Jo'Virr.

- Emma (of Vilja fame), Rsdnt-Evle (Companion Neeshka), & Cutthroat Mods (CM Companions). I examined & re-examined their scripts to finally learn how to do some adequate scripting.

Installation:

- Put Jo-Virr-NS.esp in your Oblivion\Data folder.

- Put Voice\Jo-Virr-NS.esp into your Oblivion\Data\Sound\Voice folder.

- Activate Jo-Virr-NS.esp.

- Go find Jo'Virr. If you can't seem to track him down, just go into Two Sisters Lodge-- the quest will update, and give Jo'Virr a temporary quest marker.

To uninstall:

- Delete Jo-Virr-NS.esp from your Oblivion\Data folder.

- Delete Voice\Jo-Virr-NS.esp from your Oblivion\Data\Sound\Voice folder.

Bugs:

- Sometimes Jo'Virr won't equip his bow, but will instead rush into melee combat. FIX: Opening and closing his inventory seems to fix that.

- Sometimes the follow feature stops working after fast-traveling. FIX: Ask him to stop following you, then ask him to follow you again, and he'll go back to following.

- You can report other bugs (I'm sure there are plenty of them.) in the discussion thread, or PM me on the forums.

Use:

- Anyone who wants is free to use, edit, and re-use the scripts in this mod for their own mods. I make no guarantee as to how well they'll work!

- Please do not use any of the dialogue in this mod without asking me first.

Man, I am psyched about this, as I have just started a new character (well, the revival of an old character, more accurately), and JoVirr seems a good fit for her. Even if he didn't though, I always have room in my load order for another NellSpeed mod.

Looking forward to hearing darkspace's work in my game- his demo was pretty darned impressive.

Congrats on the release!
